Easy 5 minute " Minimal is a Must" Look

Hey Everyone,
I wanted to show you a really easy no fuss make-up look which I have created. I have decided to call it "Minimal is a Must", the reason is because this look will be suited to students, work, gym and even just quick trips out. I actually applied it today just to make myself feel a bit healthier, even though I'm not going out.

I hope you will be able to see how natural this look is, and what I have done is even out my skin tone, dramatise the eyes ever so slightly, and finally apply a nice light rose flush to the cheeks and lips. You can use your own products for this look, and I will just tell you what kind of shades to go for.

Step 1 - Product used - Witch Tinted Moisturiser #2
I would always use a tinted moisturiser for a quick look like this, as it covers your moisturising and base in one. I'm using a tinted moisturiser by "Witch" which is a good medium coverage moisturising, with anti blemish properties.

Step 2 - Product used - UD Naked Palette
I used (Naked) on my lid and a slight touch of (Dark Horse) in my crease, and then (Virgin) on the inner corner and brow bone. You can use any palette or shadows, just make sure you have a light colour, and a medium colour and a slightly darker colour to define.

Step 3 - Product used - Chanel Intimitable Intense Mascara
You can use your favourite mascara, and just do a few flashes on your lashes.

Step 4 - Product used - Dr Harnik Concealer & YSL Touche Eclat
Use a light concealer to draw a "V" shape under your eye, this is what Kim Kardashian does to achieve her light and bright under eye look. Then go in with your usual concealer, and concealer your under eye/blemishes.
Step 5 - Product used - Chanel Blush Horizon
I would opt for a warm Pink for this part something with a light rose bud undertone. This part of the look is very on-trend, and it with compliment most skin tones. It will also look radiant and fresh for your day.

Step 6 - Product used - Chanel Rouge Coco Shine #70 Sourire
This lipstick is very hydrating and great for creating a natural look. This shade is a warm toned Pink, which comes off as a light "Rose Bud" shade on my lips. I would opt for either a natural Pink or Peach shade to finalise the look.

Mini New Look Haul !

Hey Everyone,
So this isn't exactly a haul, but I did get two things that I really love. It's still lovely weather over in the UK, and I just felt like having a little spend on some girly bits!. I have been spending so much on make-up recently, and it's easily gone over the 100's already. I need to stop myself before I go to far haha, I'm a true beauty addict... that's for sure!.
I should really be doing my final project for uni, but blogging is a lot more appealing at the moment. I haven't had the best of days so far, and I just feel like doing a post might save me from today!.

£23.00 Newlook

I managed to take a quick I phone snap of the skirt on, it's so feminine and classy! I really love it. I wasn't to sure on the midi style at first, as it's something I have never really worn before. However, I think it looks so chic.. and I can't wait to find the right opportunity to wear it. My SophiaWithLove rose ring looks amazing with this outfit as well.

£12.00 Newlook

Excuse the no make-up face, but I think this dress is really nice for £12.00. It's nicely fitted, but at the same time it goes out making it nice and cool. I imagine it with some Brown accessories, and a lovely glowing tan for day OR nigh time.

"Rose Bud Look" - Natural On Trend Make-up Look SS12

Hello Everyone,
I thought I would do a "Look" related post today, I have a new favourite YouTube Guru called "GossMakeupArtist" who is from Cardiff (Near me) and I actually love his video's. He is so professional and thorough, and I would advise you check his channel. Moving on, he mentioned that the naturally beautiful rose but look is really on trend at the moment. It can be worn on pretty much every skin tone, I decided to have a go, and I have taken a picture to show you what I used.

Excuse the rollers haha.. but these Remington heated rollers are really good for giving hair movement, not so good at curling though!. I use Babyliss heated rollers to actually curl my hair on a night out or something, but for day use the Remington's are just fine =] - I thought this was a good picture because it allows you to see the soft eye make-up (Virgin Lid & Brow Bone/ Buck Crease). I have used Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Sourire to give that rose bud lip appearance. I used my Witch tinted moisturiser underneath a thin layer of Chanel's Vitalumiere aqua foundation. I then sculpted with Chanel Bronzer, and my NARS Deepthroat blush which is super natural and pretty.

I could not for the life of me find the right light to take a front facing photo, it was either to light (making me look like a ghost) or to dark making me look tired!. However, I was inspired by the picture below which will hopefully give you a good idea of the look itself.

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine #70 Sourire

Hey Everyone,
I was super excited to come home to find a little Chanel treat, and my GORGEOUS ring from Sophia With Love. I just wanted to say how much of a lovely girl Sophia is, and even more her Boutique is just as lovely as her. She is currently taking order's via Facebook, as her fabulous website is still being designed. The ring is honestly the most perfect Peach colour, and it's so comfy to wear. I have had about 5 comments on it so far, and I have been wearing it for about 5 hours!. Please show your support and visit her links, which I will place at the bottom of the page.

Moving on to my little Chanel treat.... ahhh I'm so excited!. I literally have a make-up crush, on Rouge Coco Shines' by Chanel. I must admit it's not a healthy obsession, as they do cost around £23.00 each. I know there are some great dupes circulating around at the moment, but if you decide to crave in and buy, I would recommend you try a few shades, and find one with good pigment for your lip colour. Some of them don't have that good a pigment, so it would be like buying a super expensive lip balm.

#70 Sourire
I think this has to be one of the prettiest Rouge Coco's in terms of looking at it in the packaging. It's a beautiful warm Pink, with tiny flecks of Gold sparkle. It applies more sheer than my other Rouge Coco in #48 Evasion, which is a darker more nude/peach based version of Sourire.

This is Sourire next to Evasion. As you can see Sourire looks a lot more brighter (well in the tube it does), but it's actually Evasion that gives more pigment (just a note for those looking to purchase either).  However, Sourire gives a lovely light rose bud tint to the lips, which is one of this seasons biggest make-up trends.

Sourire is an extremely pretty warm Pink. I think it would suit the majority of skin tones, and it's flecks of sparkle certainly don't impact on it's smooth moisturising texture. It is quite sheer though, so maybe it would be better to try a shade like Evasion, which isn't as sheer & doesn't have the sparkle!.

I am a Rouge Coco Addict, Let me know if you are as well ;) - Or if you would like to try one ?

My trip to "Longleat Zoo"

Hey Everyone,
I have had one of the nicest days of the year so far today with my boyfriend. We decided to visit a very famous zoo in England called "Longleat" It's a beautiful country estate, which allows you to get really close to the animals. I wore a really simple outfit which consisted of, Hollister shorts and an H&M top, I then wore Tiffany/Versace/Chanel/Longchamp accessories. We then came back and had a lovely BBQ, the weather is amazing right now in the UK ;). I have attached some pictures of my day with my boyfriend. I hope you are all well, and I can't wait to post again!

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine & Glossimer (Mini Review)

Hey Everyone!
Today I have a Chanel review x2, and I have been very excited to get to know these products well enough to review for you all. I won't ramble on for much longer, just so you can admire their true beauty!. I hope you enjoy my mini review, and I'm always here to answer your questions!.

Rouge Coco Shine #48 Evasion
Rated - A+
In my opinion Chanel lip products are something special. I purchased these two beauties recently, and I have been enjoying them both the same. This is my second Rouge Coco Shine in #48 and it's my HG lip product, I just love how perfect it is for the day time. It's also so effortless to put on and you could probably do it with your eyes closed, not to mention it's lovely lip balm like texture!. I would describe the colour as being a "Peachy Nude" It's very classy, and gives you a really pretty look to your lips. It's perfect for day time looks.

Chanel Glossimer Calypso
Rated - A
Moving on to the very visually beautiful Chanel Glossimer in "Calypso" - I haven't had many Chanel Glossimer's this is my second, I suppose seeing mixed reviews just put me off the Glossimer tracks!. I must admit I'm a huge fan of this Glossimer, it's fairly well pigmented (Not quite as pigmented as it looks) and it has good lasting power, I would say probably longer than the lipstick. The colour is a medium "True" Orange, with soft Gold shimmer. The texture is a nice balance, and is neither to thick or to thin ( which is a bonus )

Visit Here for a fantastic review of this product

I have been naughty and splurged on another Rouge Coco Shine, which I will post about next week!

Lifestyle Post - Health & Diet

Hello Lovelies,
If you are from the UK, I hope you are enjoying the sunshine. I was going to do a review on a beauty product, but the lighting is going down a little in my house, so I will leave that for now!. I wanted to move onto a new sensation and that is the brand "Neuro", and Kim Kardashian loves the stuff!.

NeuroSonic Energy & Health Drink Photograph

I actually brought it a few months ago purely for the packaging. However, it actually does taste pretty nice and there are loads of different drinks. Cosmopolitan magazine also raves about this drink, and how it's helped people to loose weight. I don't really want to loose weight, but if it helps me curb my feasting, then that will do me just fine!.

Have you tried this stuff ? - I'm currently drinking "Neuro Trim" as I'm typing.

Hey Everyone,
I wanted to do a little haul post because I have been collecting a few products lately. I'm also loving Instagram at the moment so follow me @indiarobyn :)

L'Oreal Elvive Nutri Gloss Spray
I haven't had much experience with this product yet but for about £3's I'm willing to give it a few goes. It claims to be an ultra light non greasy leave in spray, which adds loads of shine (as well as de-tangling hair) - I think I'm going to get along with this product after a few uses it does leave my hair more shiny, I don't think it's going to be a miracle worker, but It seems like it might be good for injecting a bit of life into dull hair.

Tesco Cucumber Wipes
I use my Temple Spa products to remove my make-up these days, but I just picked up some cheap wipes to carry around with me. I'm a big fan of cucumber wipes, so I either buy these or the Waitrose version (which are loads better)

Cosmo Beauty Blender
This is a great tool for applying foundation/concealer and other various products. It's a lot cheaper than the usual beauty blender, and can be found Online and at Superdrug. I use it more for bouncing my concealer into my skin.

Real Techniques Stippling Brush
Welcome to my new best friend!. I am really liking how this brush is applying my Chanel compact foundation, it gives a really nice flawless look and gives great coverage. It does apply a little thicker than my beauty blender, but it gives such a natural finish.

YSL Touche Eclat #2
This should be named as the #1 beauty product, it has won so many awards and it deserves everyone of them. It's such a nice concealer/highlighter, and it's totally glamorous with it's sleek packaging. It can be used for so many different things, and I would say it's worth the £25.00 splurge.

Chanel Glossimer Calypso
WOW, this product is just as amazing as it looks in the tube. I never even planned on buying this, but I'm so glad I decided to go for the splurge. It's not as bright as in the tube, but maybe that's a good thing! - It stays on for ages, and I'm loving it so far.

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Evasion
I'm going to keep hush about this, as I'm posting a review for it this week. However, I will say it's my number 1 lip product EVER!.

Garnier Mineral Deodorant
I was just casually looking for a deodorant, and I seen loads of hype about mineral deodorants.. I must admit I wasn't sure what it was all about at first. I still don't really get it but I think it just means that it is less abrasive on your skin. I do quite like it, and as long as it does the job I'm happy!.

Jewel Lip Fix
This is a product from my own line Jewel and it neutralizes your lip colour to make the most of your other lip products, it's moisturising and generally a great product. It's not ready for sale, but I will let you know as soon as it is.

Blazer - Primark
Top - Primark
Scarf - FF
Jeans - New Look
Bag - Louis Vuitton
Jewellery - Tiffany & Versace

The best color in the whole world is the one that looks good on you. - Coco Chanel

Hello my lovelies,
It feels so good to be back behind the blogger dashboard, and I'm ready to get back into the swing of posting. I have just come back from a lovely holiday in Mallorca, my parents are looking for a new place and I don't mind tagging along!. I also had to pay a little visit to duty free, and I thought I would just write a quick post for you all to see.

I purchased two products from Chanel duty free, after having a flirt with YSL I'm 100% back on Chanel cosmetics. I'm going to be doing a review on one of the products VERY soon, so I hope you will all check back here soon :)

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Chit Chat !

Hey Everyone!
I'm sorry I'm going to be absent from blogger for a week, as I'm flying out to Spain tonight. I'm really excited especially when there is bright sunshine all week. I'm going for a late birthday meal with my parents at this absolutely stunning location, I can't wait to share the pictures already!.
I have been itching to talk about this product, I'm going to be giving more of an initial thoughts kind of review, because I have only been using it a week so far. I will do a follow up review probably in a few weeks, just to let you all know how I'm getting along with this product.

Initial thoughts ?
My first ever Chanel foundation was the Teint innocence compact by Chanel and I loved it, so when Chanel released a compact of my current favourite "Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Liquid Foundation" I was VERY excited to try it. I love the chunky Chanel compact packaging, because it's really sturdy and great for having in your handbag.

Coverage ?
I would say that this foundation is very adjustable because it's cream texture lends it to different coverages. Firstly, I apply this foundation with a synthetic stippling brush, and it gives a light-medium airbrushed coverage. However, if you use the sponge it will put the foundation on your skin at quite a heavy medium coverage.

Comparison to the liquid Vitalumiere Aqua ?
The obvious difference between these products is the texture. I would say the the liquid version gives a lighter coverage, but at the same time it is build-able. The cream version is basically the same in my eyes, it just gives a higher coverage in my opinion. I still feel like it gives you the same vitalised look as the liquid version, I like both very much. However, I don't think you need both unless you have a healthy budget to spare.

Cons ?
The price! It's almost £40.00, and I'm sure the liquid is around £30-32. I would say that is the main issue in my eyes, and maybe the fact that the liquid could be mixed with a moisturiser. Apart from that I'm actually preferring the compact to the liquid version, and it has better staying power than the liquid in my opinion.

YSL - Touche Eclat Rave Review !!

Hey Everyone,
I'm almost 100% sure that everyone is the beauty stratosphere knows about the "YSL Touche Eclat" if you aren't that clued up on it, then you have come to the right place. I previously used one of these when I was around 15/16 and don't think it was the right time for me to appreciate it. After umming and ahhhing, I decided to go for it and re-purchase the YSL Touche Eclat. It really is worth its weight in Gold, and it's the best sold beauty product in the UK!.

YSL Touche Eclat Facts
What it does ?
- Banishes signs of fatigue
- Sculpts the face
- Refreshes complexion
Why everyone loves it ?
- Its pure convenience
- Its attractive packaging
- Its multi-tasking abilities
- Its ability to blend alongside any other product
- Its ability to create a light, and refreshed looking complexion
Cons ?
- It's not cheap but it's worth the splurge!

What the retail giants have to say ?
YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch. The UK`s No.1 Luxury Beauty Product to reduce dark circles and add light, luminosity & radiance to the complexion.

YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch is a 2.5ml must-have item for any fashionable lady's handbag! Touche Eclat is ideal for adding a touch of light or for banishing undereye shadows and fading away signs of fatigue from the area around the eye, the contour of the lips and around the nose.

(I-phone - Sorry!)

Left Collection 2000 Illuminating Touch Right YSL Touche Eclat
(If the YSL Touche Eclat is out of your budget, I recommend you try Collection 2000)

My skin tone is fair with Golden undertones, which basically means I have a slight warmth to my skin. If you are unsure check the colour of your veins. If they look more Green you probably have warm undertones, and if they are Blue then you probably have cool undertones, which are normally Pink. I thought I would compare both illuminators as they are both fairly light shades out of both of their ranges. You can probably guess that the Left is a bit to beige for me, and the Golden undertones of the YSL suit my skin much better. My final verdict is that this product is a must have, and in my opinion a must for travelling. It creates light instantly and conceals scary shadows. I think it's price of around £25.00 is expensive, but it's a good investment and the amount of awards it has won, and keeps winning is insane. I use shade #2 which is Luminous Ivory, and this shade is designed for people with naturally fair skin, but with neutral/golden undertones.

If you want a chance to win this amazing item keep checking back for my 250 subscriber give-away!

New foundation routine & OTTD

Hey Everyone!
I hope you are all well and feeling fabulous, I know for a fact that I am feeling loads better now. I have been so stressed lately, and my business has had to be put on the back burner, while I have been finalising my business project plan. However, I'm re-charged after Monaco and I can't wait to get back into everything!.

Firstly, I have a quick OOTD for you and I feel  pretty good today. I usually hate wearing my hair up, but it's greasy (blehh).
Shirt - Primark
Mint Jeans - George
Sunglasses - Chanel
Watch - Versace
Necklace - Tiffany & Co
Handbag - Louis Vuitton

Foundation Routine
My new foundation Routine involves my Temple Spa balancing moisturiser, which is fabulous for Normal/Combination skin, as it targets both areas and also creates a great make-up base. I also have a new foundation and a new brush for applying it.

1 - Always moisturise your skin, it really helps to smooth and soothe your skin for make-up application. I am loving my Temple Spa moisturiser because it also doubles up as a make-up base .
2 - I am now using my real techniques stippling brush with my new Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua compact foundation. It's a very simple process, and just involves you lightly swirling the product from the centre of your face outwards.

My foundation applied with my new stippling brush!.

Lots of love

Recent Purchases!

Hey Lovelies!
I am loving a bit of Instagram at the moment, so I thought I would share some recent purchases and use my Instagram pictures. I have decided to save my birthday money, and wait until I go to Florida & The Bahamas this year.

I managed to purchase my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Compact, which retails at almost £40.00. I also got my hands on a YSL touché eclat, which retails for about £25.00. I am loving both of these products, I purchased the YSL in a shade lighter, and it's doing wonders for my under-eye area. I also learnt that concealer should generally be lighter than your foundation!. I have always used similar colour concealers to my foundation, and have never been happy with my under eye area. I will do a review for both products as soon as I feel like I know them well enough haha!.

I purchased this real Techniques brush by the lovely YouTube star "Sam Chapman" Aka Pixiwoo! :) - I am yet to try this brush out, but I'm so excited to compare it to my Cosmo beauty blender. This brush was roughly £11.00 from Boots.
Just another Monaco snap from my Instagram "Indiarobyn" Follow me :) - This was the view from our Hotel, it was so stunning!.

Monaco Pictures

Hey Everyone!
I have missed blogging so so much, and now I'm back from Monaco I can get right back into it. I had such a fabulous time, and everything about the place is so glamorous. I will share some pictures with you below from my trip, and I hope to get back into blogging very soon! - I took about 400 pictures so I have just picked a few nice ones, I am also going to be uploading a short room tour/holiday video !

Hey Everyone!
This is probably the last blog I will be doing until I get back from Monaco. I have been busy packing all day, and I'm finding it so hard to pack for a long weekend. I got my new I Phone in the end, and I'm getting my various networking sites up and going, so you can all check me out there. I have decided to save my birthday money, and maybe get a new handbag or shoes in the near future!.

I'm such a nervous flyer even though I travel a lot. I think it started on a really horrible flight to Florida, and ever since I get the biggest butterflies in my stomach about it. Here are some random pictures of my day today, and me trying to pack. All I have to say is where is my boyfriend going to put his stuff ? haha

Some of the items I am taking include
