❤Friday Favourites❤ YSL, Benefit & Chanel

Hey Lovelies!
Its Friday YAY! I love Friday's because it's the start of the weekend, and you can't forget #FF (Follow Friday's) on Twitter!. I have really gotten into Twitter recently, as its a great way to interact with my lovely blogger friends. Twitter is also a really good way for me to help some of my favourite blogs to reach their goals, so I'm finding it a really positive experience at the moment.

I have decided to get artistic with "Photo Rus" today and bring you all a "Friday Favourites" post. I hope you  enjoy this post, and that you all have a fabulous weekend.

Benefit Tropicoral
Since I received this very special package in the post. I haven't been able to put it down haha. I can't wait for it's nationwide launch which is now under three weeks away! (Check out this Post). "Go Tropicoral" is like summer in a box to me, I can create the perfect coral summer look in an instant. I also think this is going to be a must for my upcoming holidays.

Chanel Bronzing Base
The Chanel Bronzing Base has a striking resemblance to a delicious chocolate mouse which attracts me to it every time haha. On a more serious note I just find it the perfect all-round bronzer, which makes it a really useful product to have in my collection. I use it mostly to warm up my lighter foundations, such as my "YSL Touche Eclat Foundation" which is just a little light for me at the moment. I really love this product and have been using it for most of this week.

YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation #B30
This is my #2 foundation after my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua. It is super radiant and blurs imperfections instead of covering them, which means you get a nice smoothed out complexion. I wouldn't recommend this for oily skins, but I would say combination types could just about get away with this foundation. I use my Chanel loose powder to set this, and it seems to work quite well. I have been using this foundation quite a lot this week, as it works really well with my Benefit Tropicoral kit.

Benefit Ultra Plush Lipgloss Coralista Review

Hey Lovelies!
Well its good news! I am really enjoying using my Coralista “Benefit Ultra Plush Lipgloss”. So on that note dolls check out my Giveaway which is for one of these lovely glosses (Your choice of colour). I must admit I haven’t worn a gloss like this since being obsessed with Lancôme Juicy Tubes back in the day.

I have been wearing it for a few days now, and I feel like you can get a feeling for a lipgloss quicker than you would for say a foundation.

The packaging for this product is a normal squeezy lipgloss tube, but it does feel quite fun and youthful being very true to the Benefit brand.

Firstly, this smells like tangerines which is quite a nice fruity uplift when applying it to your lips. I also like how the gloss applies, as I don’t find it sticky in the slightest. The pigment is a light flush of coral, the coral shade being on the slightly more darker side. Looking at the "Benefit" website this shade is described as being a "sheer coral", and actually that is the perfect description. I would say that it would probably take up a slightly different shade of coral depending on your lip colour. Coralista adds a nice subtle glossy coral shade to my lips, which is totally wearable!.

This is the kind of lipgloss you would probably need to reapply, but I think most of us would agree that a lot of glossy products need to be re applied, due to the texture. I also find my lips feeling quite nice and silky when wearing this gloss, which is a nice little bonus ;). I think the most important/impressive thing about this lipgloss is the fact that it's not sticky.

Don't forget that you could win one of these lip glosses by entering my GIVEAWAY.

Finally, I think these little glosses will inject a bit of fun into your make-up bag. They look bright and bold on the outside, but really they are beautiful everyday glosses, that can be worn with ease!.

What do you think ?

OOTD + Sale Item

Hey Lovelies!
I thought I would share with you an "OOTD" & a little purchase from the amazing Tesco's haha. My boyfriend took me to the "light house" near where he lives, which I have never visited before. I went quite natural with my make-up today, as I'm not feeling all that marvellous.

I also wanted to mention that I am starting my Human Resources modules for my degree, so if you would like to speak to me make sure you tweet me @jewelbeautyblog - I will also be at the Wednesday #bbloggers chat!

Jeans - George

YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation #B30, Chanel Bronzing Base, Chanel Intimitable Intense Mascara, YSL Touche Eclat #2, Chanel Rouge Coco Shine #Sourire

Pantene "Protect & Volume" Shampoo & Conditioner

I also snapped up this half price bargain in Tesco's. This jumper was £14.00 reduced to £7.00, and thought it would look quite cute, with a pair of dark skinny jeans. It looks a bit washed out on this picture, but actually it's a lot more "creamy" with Rose Gold stripes.

Exclusive - Benefit "Go Tropicoral" & UD Naked Samples

Hey Everyone!
Before I start, I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all my followers. I now have over 300, and it really does mean the world to me!.

This is probably one of the most exciting posts I have ever done haha!. I have been lucky enough to snap up one of Benefits latest gift sets "Go Tropicoral". This product is still 3 weeks away from its nationwide launch, so I am super happy to be able to offer you this exclusive. Debenhams were having a special 1 day only launch of this product, and when I seen that it wasn't to be released for 3 weeks, I realised I couldn't wait that long haha.

This Gift set is perfect for me as I have been wanting to try the famous box blush "Coralista" for ages now. I also have been wanting to try High-Beam, so this is really a fabulous kit for me. I have been looking on Sephora, and it looks like Benefit are releasing a gift set for each box blush which is so exciting. I also got a generous sample of the new UD NAKED foundation, which I am super excited to try. So thank you Debenhams for including this in my order!.

Take a look at this link "Sephora" for a sneak peak of what might be to come for the UK!

Hope you enjoy this post my lovelies, and thank-you to my new followers!

Please be warned this is a picture heavy post!

First Impressions ?
I am very excited about trying "Go Tropicoral" out. I absolutely love how its set out, and I think this will be my go to product for my upcoming holidays. The packaging is amazing as always, and I love the girly leopard print on the side! (super cute).

I will be doing a review shortly of "Go Tropicoral" as a whole, and then a detailed review for each product. Do you like the look of this Benefit Kit ? - Let me know!

Sunday - "Day In Pictures"

Hey My Lovelies!
So I have just got back from visiting the "Élan Valley" with my parents. I live in South Wales, and this is probably about 1 hour 10 away from me. It is such a beautiful place, and it was nice to see the sun shining across the valleys.

I had a really lovely day despite having a bit of a rubbishy day with the beauty side of things haha. I just felt like I would have looked tired no matter how much make up I put on. I suppose the main thing was that I had a really nice day and lunch with my parents.

Hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday, and I can't wait to finally bring you my super exciting post next week!

Don't forget about my "Benefit Cosmetics" Giveaway just a few posts below!

Inspired By A Beautiful Rose - FOTD

Hey Lovelies,
I have been faced by more disappointment today, as my Debenhams order has not turned up again :(. It doesn't look like the blog post will be coming till mid-late next week now, so I will continue blogging as normal. I have been inspired by this beautiful rose in my hallway, so I hope you enjoy today's look. I have just come back from lunch with my parents which was lovely.

I also purchased the full size "Maybelline BB Cream" In Light. I choose Light as it is more Yellow toned, which is better for combating my redness. I thought the darker shades looked more Pink from the colour cards in the store.

Firstly, I applied my Maybelline BB cream all over my face. I then used my Chanel Bronzing Base just to warm the product up to my "slightly" tanned body. I then used "Smog" from UD NAKED 1 as it's a great bronze shade to make Blue eyes stand out. The next part of the look was my mascara "They're Real" followed by concealing my under eye area, and blemishes with my YSL Touche Eclat & Collection 2000 Concealer. To finish off the look I went back to my 2011 Chanel bronzer to contour with, and applied my current favourite "Chanel Glossimer In #Calypso" which reminded me of the beautiful rose.

Hope you are all doing well, and don't forget about my Benefit Cosmetics Giveaway

Friday Favourite - Chanel Glossimer 337 #Calypso

Hey Lovelies,
Today's post was going to be super exciting, but sadly the Post Man was mean, and did not deliver my parcel. So today I have decided to do a "Friday Favourite" post, which I hope you will all enjoy. It did take me a while to pick a product, but once I had done my make up of the day I realised what I was really loving.

The Chanel Glossimer in #337 is the perfect addition to a subtle bronzed look. It appears super bright and maybe a bit scary in the tube, but it's a lot more wearable on the lips. This product was part of the SS12 Chanel collection, and when I seen it in "Duty Free" I knew it would be love.

The price is around £21.00 which is expensive, but I would say this was one of Chanel's better Glossimers. I am a huge fan of this lipgloss, but what do my lovely followers think about it ?

I also love the packaging for this Chanel Glossimer, but I think Chanel are always amazing when it comes to luxurious, but classic packaging.

I have tried to picture it in two different lights, but I would say the colour pay off is determined by the colour of your lips. My lips are quite dark, so this takes more of a "Red/Orange" look. You can build the colour up to a true "Orange" but one or two coats is enough for me usually. If you take a look at this link it will show you the "True Orange Shade"

Don't forget to check out my giveaway below, which is devoted to all my followers old and new.

Maybelline BB Cream Samples - Review

Hey Lovelies,
I visited the Maybelline website to order myself a little sample pack of the BB cream. I must admit I have never been into tinted moisturisers or BB creams, as I generally prefer my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua which is a light water based foundation. However, after using my three samples I have managed to form an opinion on it to share with you all.

Above I am wearing the Maybelline BB in light with a dusting of my Chanel bronzing base to warm it up to my (fake) tanned body.

It has 8 claims, and I must admit I almost agree with all of them. The claims are as follows

Our gel-based formula enhances skin with 8 benefits in 1.
-Creates a natural glow (Yes)
- Compliments skin-tone (Yes)
- SPF30
- Hydrates all day
- Blurs Imperfections (Yes)
- Oil free, non-greasy
- Looks visibly smooth (Yes)
- Feels fresh (Yes)

My Verdict
I must admit this was quite a positive experience for my first ever BB cream. I have read that the Asian versions are better, but this is obviously because they originate from that part of the world. I did like testing this BB cream out. I noticed that my skin felt very refreshed after using this product, and it did appear to leave my skin looking smooth. I also noticed that is did blur certain imperfections, but it did not cover the redness on my cheeks and forehead.

I did mix it with my Bourjois Healthy Mix the next day for added coverage, but I found myself feeling a bit cakey. So I would probably just use this alone, and use my Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer to deal with my redness.

I haven't purchased it yet, but I think I probably will for my holiday in September. I feel like it would be perfect for days at the beach or by the pool.

What's In My "Gym" Beauty Bag

Hey My Lovelies!
It's currently 23.14 and I could be finishing off my marketing essay, but no I would much rather do a post for all my amazing followers!. I go to the gym 2-3 times a week, even though they aren't the most productive sessions haha. Anyway, I thought it would be a cute idea to show you a what's in my "Gym" Beauty Bag. I didn't want to put the title as "What's in my Gym Bag" because that would be like socks, trainers and other boring gym things :p!. I have also been loving a new photo editor, but I am sure you will have already guessed judging by the "Glittery Swirls".

John Frieda - Shampoo, Conditioner & Gloss
My hair is super long, and sometimes it can get quite coarse if I swim and gym without showing it some love. I recently purchased this little John Frieda Kit, and it comes complete with the perfect products to bring back life into my tired "worked out" hair. I have used the shampoo before, but I will let you know how the other products perform!.

Temple Spa "Be Strong" Serum
This serum is absolutely amazing, and its the perfect power treatment for tired skin. Sometimes working out can leave you feeling a little bit tired and dehydrated, and this paraben free serum does a great job of restoring life back into the skin on my face.

TESCO Sensitive Cleansing Wipes & Eye Make Up Pads
I do like to take good care of my skin at home, but sometimes make-up wipes are the way forward. I love using them in the gym, as they clean up and possible "Pander Eye" issues haha. They are also super quick, something which I look for when going to the gym, as by the time my hair dries I just want to get out and go home.

Garnier Mineral Deodorant
This is a pretty good deodorant to be fair, and I like the whole "mineral" theme. It is also Paraben free which is another lovely bonus to any product.

I think I need to get a mini body moisturiser, but I am the most lazy person when it comes to body butters. The moment I hear the word I think of a greasy residue which I would rather not have on my skin haha!!. I know they aren't all that bad though, so recommendations for a travel sized body lotion would be great!.

I hope you enjoyed this post lovelies!

We also had a McDonald's haha, nice and healthy!!. You can also probably see my boyfriends hand, as he was munching on the popcorn all the way through. Oh! and I had this Cherry slush, it was actually the most amazing slush ever.

Xen-Tan Transform Daily Self-Tan Review

Hey Everyone!
Today, I am going to be reviewing the Xen-Tan Transform Gradual Tanning lotion. I am a huge fan of  Xen-Tan products, and I'm already coming up to my third bottle of "Mist Intense" which is fabulous if you are a slightly more lazy tanner, or if you used to like spray tans like myself. However, recently I started wanting to try a gradual tanner that could moisturise and extend the life of my "Mist Intense" tan. I did have a St Tropez gradual tanning sample from a magazine, but I must admit I wasn't that impressed by it at all. I have been giving this product quite a vigorous test drive for around four days now, and I feel that I am ready to give you an honest review.

I have been sent this item to review by the brand Xen-Tan, but I make it my main priority to be truthful to my followers who I respect the most for taking the time to read my blog. I have always loved Xen-Tan, and I would only ever do a review on a product, if I was convinced that the product was suitable.

Perfect for those who want a natural-looking tan that develops gradually and leaves skin looking radiant and healthy for days. The subtle citrus melon fragrance means you can apply it anytime and feel confident that no one will know but you. Unless the natural sun-kissed colour gives you away! Completely streak-free, Xen-Tan Transform is so light and creamy you can use it as a daily moisturiser, helping nourish and maintain your skin. And thanks to its innovative time-release formula, your beautiful olive glow will start to develop from the very first application, giving you the freedom to control the level of colour that's right for you.

Packaging & Price
I  like the packaging for Xen-Tan its practical and pretty good to travel around with. The price of this product is £15.99 which I don't think is that bad, I get the feeling that this product could last me quite a while. Xen-Tan is a high end tanning brand, but you have to bare in mind that even though the prices are quite high, they do offer fantastic tanning products.

Firstly, I have to mention the scent because its really lovely. Instead of the signature Vanilla Xen-Tan smell this smells more like a "Lemon Meringue Pie". The sweet citrus smell, makes putting the lotion on a much more enjoyable experience. In terms of smell Xen-Tan have definitely got it right, as you don't have to experience that horrible tanning smell. This product is a dream to put on, and my skin has felt nicely moisturised since using this gradual tanner. More importantly the colour it gives is a really healthy looking glow. It is the perfect foolproof colour, as it adds a nice buildable warmth to your skin tone. I think this tan would be fabulous for lighter skin ladies, or someone who is looking for a lovely easy to use tan extender.

[No Edit] Top (Before) Bottom (After)
The top image of the first picture is a true representation of how the tan looks in natural lighting after around 2 applications. I have tried to take pictures in different lights, to give you a fair idea of how the tan can look. I am really happy with the colour, as it is very natural and easy to get away with. I have been extremely impressed by Xen-Tan once again, and I would 100% recommend the brand to anyone looking for a tanning brand that really does do what it says on the box!. I really want to try the "Gradual Face" tanner next, so If I go ahead I will keep you updated!.

Product Rating - A+

What do you think about the brand Xen-Tan ?

Thanks for reading :)

Top 3 Series: Concealers & New Design !

Hello Lovelies,
I have decided to do my next "Top 3" post on my favourite concealers, as concealer is a huge part of many beauty routines. I love concealer, and mainly use it to conceal my under eye problems. I'm not even sure if my circles/puffy eyes are that bad, but I get so paranoid about looking "tired". So using a concealer for me is a daily must, but what about you ? - Do you religiously use concealer, and what ones are your faves ?

YSL Touche Eclat #2
This is my third Touche Eclat, and even though it is technically a "highlighter" it does help to add radiance and light coverage to my under eye area. Sometimes "less" is "more", and I think this is the case with the YSL Touche Eclat. I love how it has dual uses, and can be used to add light to any part of the face. Refreshing my complexion throughout the day is made so much easier with this lovely golden pen!.

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer #3
This is my second tube of this concealer and for around £4.00 I don't think you can go wrong. I use this as my blemish concealer, and also to add extra coverage here and there. It has lasted me ages, and I'm really happy with how it covers any problem areas on my face.

Benefit Erase Paste #2
I did slightly fall out of love with this concealer, as I started to feel like it was a little "cakey". However, recently after being without my Touche Eclat I started using this concealer, and I have totally fallen back in love with it. I now use my two smaller brushes from my Real Techniques Core Collection, and I find that I can get a much lighter and smoother coverage by using the brushes. I think that I was probably using it with a heavy hand before causing it to be a bit cakey. If you find the right way to work with this product then I can assure you that it really is a great under eye concealer. I also like the melon undertones, as this is a great way to fight under eye problems.

I also wanted to mention my new header design!! - Please visit this link if you want any graphics designed

My Week In Pictures

Hey Everyone,
Its that time of the week ;) where I show you what I have been up to. I normally post this on a Sunday, but I have a huge assignment to write.. so I thought it could come a night early. Today I went to the beach with my boyfriend, and had a fantastic day. The sun was shining, and it was really nice to spend some quality time with him.

The weather was so lovely today, and it only went a bit cloudy on the way home. I had a really great day at the beach, and also went on a walk and sat by the ocean eating Chips & Curry. My boyfriend won me an "Angry Bird" from the entertainment area, and I was supervised how good quality my angry bird was. I wore a "Skater Dress" by Missguided and carried my Limited Edition Le Pliage handbag.

1 - I took this picture down by the lake at my families house, it is so peaceful down there.. and It was nice to spend some time just enjoying the scenery.
2 - I had to take a pictures of these flames, I thought my dad was going to set everything on fire... but he is amazing at doing traditional BBQ's, and we had some lovely food in the end.
3- I am so excited to review this XEN-TAN product, so keep an eye out!
4 - This picture was taken on a lovely Holiday in Spain, I can't believe how much my hair has grown since then. I can't wait to go back in September!.

Bourjois Healthy Mix #54 & "Most Used Makeup" Storage

Hey Everyone!
I finally made the purchase of the "Bourjois" healthy mix foundation. I have heard so many good things about it, and its also made in the same cosmetic factory as Chanel (bonus for me!!). I like to try and have variety in my collection, and my foundations are all high end.. so it will be good for me to give this highly rated foundation a whirl.

I also took a few snaps of my storage for my "most used makeup" I do have a set of large plastic draws by the side, where I keep more makeup which I am not really using. I would show you, but un-organised doesn't even come close to describing it haha. I have also put in a cheeky picture of myself at the end without my braces on, after two years I am finally free.

I have been eyeing this foundation for a while, and wanted to see if it was really a true "dupe" for my HG Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, I will have to let you know in a forthcoming review!. I was going to buy #53 but at the moment I am using my Xen-Tan once a week on my face and body, so I thought that #54 would blend better with a slightly more tanned skin tone.

I store my most used foundations along the top ledge, along with my naked palette. I then keep brushes and makeup wipes etc to the right hand side which you can probably see. I love doing my makeup on the floor with my big long mirror, I know it sounds weird but I never sit on my vanity to do my make-up for some reason!.

Tah dah! finally brace free after two very long years. I must admit they didn't really bother me, but I am glad to have a nice set of teeth now. I hope you have enjoyed this post, and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below!.

Current Favourite Blush - MAC Cremeblend "Something Special"

Hey Lovelies!
I have been posting a lot lately which is fantastic, as I went through a period when I super busy & lacking motivation. I have given my blog a bit of a spruce, and colour change... which I hope you like. It reflects my favourite colours which are Pink & Peach, so I thought it would be cute to add a bit of my personality in the design.

Today, I am going to be talking about my most reached for blush which I have been using in my "Summery Glow" Routine, which I will be posting about very soon. I'm looking forward to creating the look and smiling without my braces as well, it has been such a journey for me (for various reasons) and I'm glad that it is over now.

Firstly, Excuse the product for looking a bit "tatty" but I had to use different brushes, and techniques to try and get the best effect with this this blush!. Anyway, I have been reaching for this blush the most as I feel like the "Cremeblend" formulae works with a "glowy" look better than a pressed powder. It is a beautiful bright Coral/Peach which can be intensified or blended out to create a more natural glow. I love this blush because it can either be a "show stopper" with its bright side, or it can be "Subtle" and barley there blush, creating just a soft awakening glow.

The formulae is pigmented, but very workable on the face. I also like that its not at all sticky, which was something I was half expecting from my first Creme blush. I would advise you use a dense synthetic brush, as otherwise you might get hairs stuck in the product. I find Real Techniques brushes to work really well with this brush, and even a beauty blender does a good job. I have applied it with my fingers, but using a brush is a lot less hassle.

I think I paid around £17.50 for this blush, which I did think was fairly expensive at the time. However, after paying almost £50.00 for a Chanel blush, I soon realised that £17.00 wasn't that bad. I think this is a great summery blush, and the colour would suit many complexions. I will be using this blush in a look soon, so keep an eye out for that post.

Top 3 Summer Lippies & News

Hello Darlings!
Firstly I want to say a huge hello and thank you to any new followers who have become a part of my blog. I really appreciate you following my blog, as without you I would have no blog to write. I have organised my first mini giveaway, which you can find on my blog page.

It was hard to do a post about my Top 3 Summer lip products, but I wanted to try and be a bit more specific. I definitely think my choice offers a good range of summer colours, and I have been using all three in rotation. I'm very surprised that my HG Rouge Coco shines didn't get in, but this summer I have been getting into some new lip products.

I also wanted to let you all know that today I had my braces off after 2 long years of having them. I'm so pleased with the results, and I can't wait for the right time to show you all my new smile!.

MAC Cremesheen "Shy Girl" Lipstick
This lipstick has not moved out of my make-up bag since having it. I must admit I'm not 100% in love with the consistency, as its not that moisturising in comparison to my Rouge Coco's. However, It has to be the most wearable perfect beige/peach/nude ever. It has been my favourite lipstick for relaxed days, and its beautiful when used to create a simple "Peach" summery kind of look.

Dior Addict Ultra Gloss "664-Rose Bikini"
Rose Bikini is one of the most beautiful "Pink" summer shades I have ever seen. It's extremely bright, but somehow very wearable. It adds such a gorgeous pop of colour, and it also lasts for quite a while. The texture is lovely, and definitely not sticky. I have been reaching for this gloss loads, and would 100% recommend you looking at it if you pass by Dior!.

Chanel "Calypso" Glossimer
This was a total duty free splurge, but I'm so glad I went for it. The colour is so beautiful, and Orange lips look fabulous with the right makeup. This gloss has some Gold shimmer, but not once have I ever felt any grit to it. I love the packaging especially, and the Gold because it is "Limited Edition". It is a very bright colour, but does come across slightly more laid back when applied to the lips.

I have been loving all three of these lip products, they are so beautiful in their own ways. I'm also really happy that I have picked 3 lip products, with a variety of colour. I hope you have enjoyed this post, and I would love to hear from you below!

My Week In Pictures & Olympics!!

Hello my lovelies!
I love Sundays because I usually go to the gym early in the morning, and then spend the rest of the day just chilling. I also had a late night last night as I went to watch Team GB play football in the Olympics. I had such a great time, and I can't wait to start going to some more football matches. I thought I do a post showing you what I have been up to this week. I hope you are all well, and I would love to hear from you below. I would also love for you all to check out my first "Giveaway" which has a page devoted to it on my blog.
