What's In My Makeup Bag ?

Hey Lovelies!
Hope you are all doing well ? - I don't know about you but It just feels like I haven't had five minutes to relax recently!! - I had that horrendous virus last week, and since that I have been totally overcrowded by assignments and other work needing to be done. I just feel like I haven't been able to plan any blog posts or actually plan anything!. I decided to do a totally spontaneous what's in my make up bag... as to be honest I didn't really know what was in there myself haha!!
YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation B3O, Estee Lauder Sensuous Nude Perfume, Benefit Erase Past #2, Dior Rosy Glow Blush, Benefit They're Real Mascara, YSL Le Touche Eclat #2, Estee Lauder Brazen Berry Lipgloss, Chanel Fatale Gloss, Temple Spa Lip Treat Oro
Estee Lauder Pure Lipgloss - Brazen Berry
The colour of this lipgloss reminds me of a "Berry Smoothie" but it is described as being a cool medium berry on the Estee Lauder website. The texture is amazing and I have no problem with it being sticky or anything like that. Its such a beautiful wearable colour for the early Autumn.

Chanel Extrait De Gloss - Fatale
This is one of my most bold lip colours and the pigmentation and staying power is extremely good for a lipgloss. It a medium-dark Crimson Red with a high shine texture. Its far from sticky, but it does have more of a gloss feeling compared to the Estee Lauder formulae.

Temple Spa Lip Treat - ORO
This is my latest lipgloss and was sent to me by the lovely Anita as a get well soon gift. I think the shade is absolutely stunning, it is like a soft brown with peach/pink tones. It is probably the most true "gloss" formulae  out of the three. It is very moisturising and contains Vitamin C, Grapeseed Oil and Papaya Seed Oil.

Hope you enjoyed this post beauties!

Estee Lauder Sensuous Nude Limited Edition Gift Set - Review

Hello Beauties!
It is totally unheard of for me to leave posting for five whole days :( - However, I have been suffering with a terrible winter virus. I have had everything from a sore throat, sickness and hot/cold shivers... basically I have been a total mess lately haha!. Today, I just had to do something about it because I have wanted to blog for ages, as well as having loads of uni work to complete.

I am super excited to be doing a review on the "Estee Lauder Sensuous Nude" fragrance, as I am not a huge perfume person. I have used Chanel, Dior, Benefit, Prada and a few others, but have never used them up. Perfume just tends to make me feel a bit sick. I got a few samples of this perfume through the post, and have been using it for almost a month now. I couldn't believe it when my parent's brought me back this gorgeous Limited Edition gift set from the airport, and don't you just think that small size is adorable ? - Anyway, I will stop the blab and will get onto the review.

Key Notes
This fragrance redefines the traditional fragrance structure of Top, Middle and Base notes. Instead a Warm core is surrounded by notes that inspire feelings of femininity and intimacy.
Sicilian Bergamot Baie RoseMandarin Black Pepper
Feminine Jasmine PetalsMuguet Coconut Water Honey Musk
Warm Melted Woods  NaturePrint®  Sandalwood Amber Musk Heliotrope Vanilla

Limited-time 3-piece collection includes a an exclusive gift box:
Eau de Parfum Spray 50ml
Body Veil (Body Lotion) 100ml
Eau de Parfum Travel Spray 4ml
What I Think ?
Sensuous Nude is a highly wearable, classy fragrance. I love the fact that it's not overpowering, and it doesn't make me feel sick *YAY*. It's not the kind of fragrance that would be easily noticed, but instead it feels cosy and close to the skin. If you are like me and find perfume very hard to get along with, then maybe this would be for you. This perfume does have woody notes, but it also has a few sweet notes which makes it quite a sexy fragrance as well. I also love the Body Veil which is a light lotion which is hydrating, with the same scent as the perfume. I would really recommend you try this if you prefer a more subtle fragrance compared to one that makes a bold statement. I would love to be able to wear my bolder fragrances, but sadly I just can't :( - Sensuous Nude makes me feel feminine, and I also feel like I could wrap myself up in the scent. I am really starting to fall for Estee Lauder and not just in the perfume department haha!. I am really loving their cosmetics as well. I absolutely love their "Pure Color" lipsticks, and I think that they are very underrated. I was so happy when I seen this beautifully packaged gift set. The perfume packaging is very simple but classy, and that is how I like packaging in general. I also can't forget to mention that adorable little baby perfume!! I am such a sucker for cute things!. I have found this kit on the Estee Lauder website with Free Delivery *Here*

What do you go for when looking for the perfect fragrance ?

Blogging Love Tag ❤

Hello Beauties!
I have decided to do the "Blogging Love" TAG by the lovely Kayleigh from "CoutureGirl". Kayleigh is such a lovely girl and her blog is absolutely amazing. If you haven't already visited her blog then please do, as you definitely wont regret it. Kayleigh is also having an amazing 2000 follower international giveaway, which you will be able to enter on her blog. I haven't done a  personal tag in a while, and thought it would be a great idea for my new and old followers to learn a little bit more about me.

So lets get started ;)

Passion - Growing up with two older sisters made the whole fashion and beauty thing come pretty easily to me. I always had fashion dolls and beauty kits on my Christmas list whilst growing up, and I would spend hours with my sisters clothes and makeup. In recent years beauty/blogging has become almost a saviour to me, as it has given me such a great hobby to help me take my mind off my anxiety.

Creativity - I have always been a creative person, but I have never really been able to put it into much practice. However, blogging has totally become my creative release which is amazing. I also love having those moments where you are like "YES that will be amazing to write about". I can't forget to mention that I also get inspiration from some of my favourite blogs.

Other Blogger's - #Bestbloggerfriends You know who you are ladies! :) - I honestly could never have imagined how many amazing friends I would make through blogging. I initially kept myself to myself on my blog, as I had a really bad experience with people being nasty on "Tumblr". It took me ages to venture onto twitter and become part of #bbloggers because I was worried that blogger would be the same. I just can't say how grateful I am to the friends who I have made, and also to my loyal followers.

Inspiration - My inspiration can come from anything really, but I definitely find my favourite blogger's inspiring. I look up to them and how well they have done, and its something I would love to do with my blog as well, but in my own way. I also have really good vision when it comes to make-up, and I can just get tons of inspiration from trying new products, and researching them. Ohh and of course Youtube is very inspiring, and I could watch the make-up looks and outfit posts for hours and hours.

My Own Space - I think having my own space is one of the most important factors of blogging to me. I love how I can take myself away from the stresses of life, and just do something I really love. I always post what I like to post about, but also taking into consideration what others like to see as well.

Blogging Aims - The most important thing to me is keeping my blog true to me, and to always appreciate my followers. I would love to reach 1000 followers, but not because of the number at all. I think it would be such a great achievement, and would probably be one of the most rewarding feelings ever. I remember getting to 300 followers, and the feeling of having that many people interested was just amazing. I would also love to attend some events and meetups in the future.

Blogging Tip - I would always say just be yourself, and don't try and make people like you. People who like your blogging style come naturally, and I think its important that you post what you like. I also think that interacting is very important, as its great to get involved with your followers.

Blogging Inspiration - I would 100% say Kayleigh from Couture Girl, and also Tamara from Glam and Glitter forever. I started reading their blogs a long time ago now, and both of their blogs are fabulous. I have also found so many new amazing blogs, and would like to say a big shout out to my amazing #Bestbloggerfriends who all have amazing blogs.

Thanks for reading lovelies :)

Winter Foundation: YSL Le Teint Touché Éclat B30 Review

Hey Lovelies!
20 years after the release of one of the most coveted beauty products in the world the "YSL Touché Éclat" YSL have finally graced us with this spectacularly formulated foundation. I have been absolutely loving my YSL Le Touché Éclat Foundation in B30 and thought it totally deserved a rave review. I haven't picked up my Chanel vita Lumière aqua in a while, and since using this beauty I haven't really missed it to be honest.
The formulae is free from opaque powders and instead uses its weightless and unique soft focus gel formulae to effortlessly erase imperfections  The foundation is so unique that it is able to interact with the skin To create a naturally radiant look suited to your own skin tone. The foundation also contains oils and Moisturising agents which gives great comfort to the skin whilst wearing it. YSL suggest paring it with a little powder and that is exactly what I do and it works amazingly.

The foundation is also available in an amazing 22 shades which are Beige, Beige Rose and Beige Dore. I feel like YSL have really gone all out to create a foundation that is really quite special. I don't think this foundation would be the best for oily skin types, but a combination skin type could probably get away with using a powder around the t zone like I do.
I would really recommend this foundation for people with normal to dry skin types, and I would also recommend it for combination types paired with a powder. The moisture and luminosity that this foundation offers makes it my number 1 go to foundation for this winter.
The shade b30 is quite Yellow toned which is good for people who perhaps want to correct their skin tone or redness. It's suited to fair skin tones, but I would recommend b40 if you are looking for a shade a little less Yellow toned. I am wearing B30 in the picture above, but have also paired it with a dusting of my Chanel Loose Powder.
The texture of this foundation may look thick but once applied it really blends out to create a lovely light-medium coverage. However, some people have said that they have found layering this foundation has worked to give them their desired coverage. I did find it a little hard to get used to the texture of this foundation at first, but now I am absolutely in love. The packaging is also gorgeous, and the pump can dispense a full pump, and a half a pump which is just amazing. I use one and a half pumps, and find this gives me a natural day time coverage.
What I Love ?
- I love the confidence this foundation gives me
- The texture is so unique and gives the skin the most natural luminosity
- It's packaging is luxurious ( can't go wrong with a beautiful glass bottle)
- In comparison to other high end foundations (Chanel/Dior) it's price is good at £28.00

What I don't love ?
-I have nothing bad to say about this foundation apart from it might not be best suited to people with oily skin. (It stays better with powder)
- I would also say that it did take me a few uses to get used to the texture, and it did take me a few more uses after that to fall in love with it.
- I would suggest getting a sample as YSL are being very generous with their samples for this foundation.

I hope you have enjoyed this post lovelies

Skincare - Avene & Temple Spa

Hello my lovelies!
I'm sorry for not posting for a while, but I am just overcoming a terrible winter cold which left me bunged up and unmotivated. I am feeling better now though *yay* and thought I would get a blog post in, before I have to start my business assignment. I decided to do a blog post on my current skin care, as it has changed recently.

I am currently using Avene & Temple Spa products which seems to be working quite well for my skin. I really want to get my hands on the Avene "Cold Cream" line as Its more moisturising and suited for a Winter skincare routine. I decided to take the pictures outside, and its freezing haha so I hope you like them.

Avene Cleansers
I am currently cleansing with the Avene "Micellar Lotions" & the Avene "Extremely Gentle Cleanser". They are both very rich in Avene's famous Thermale Water which is Amazing for keeping the skin fresh and hydrated. However, I do just want to mention that the Extremely Gentle Cleanser does contain a very small amount of SLS which is just something to keep in mind, but it's 96% Thermale water, and it hasn't caused me any problems since using it. I also think I'm going to invest in the full size "Micellar lotion" as I'm really enjoying using it, and it is also SLS free.

Avene Thermale Water Spray
Regardless of my boyfriend saying "it's just water in a can" I can honestly say this is one of my all time favourite products. It just seems to sort my skin out when it's going through a bit of a rough patch, my skin has really calmed down since using this.

Neutrogena "Visibly Clear" Black Head Eliminating Lotion
I am a huge fan of the Neutrogena "Visibly Clear" line and I think it works really well to combat trouble skin. I have been using this on my nose, and in areas where I have getting spots and I can't believe the results so far. I had an area of small bumps on my right temple, and this lotion has completely clear them. I'm in love !

Avene Antirougeurs Jour Redness Emulsion
Redness is something that quite a few people experience, and it can be due to different reasons. I have been loving this emulsion, it's lightly moisturising with a green tint which helps to diffuse redness in the skin

Temple Spa "Be Strong Serum"
Described as being a "Super Juice" for the skin, I must say I absolutely love this stuff. I use it most days and it really gives my skin an extra kick, as well as working well with the Avene products. Temple Spa is just amazing, and probably my all time favourite skincare. It's paraben free and full of goodness, I would recommend checking it out if you get chance!

Temple Spa "Skin Truffle"
Diamonds, Gold, Chocolate and Champagne ? ... sounds like heaven! and those are just a few of the ingredients. This is a very rich moisturising cream, which I use every other day and the results are just amazing. It has just won the beauty bible award, and has scored the highest points that the panel have ever awarded a cream. It gives the complexion a really radiant and plump appearance, and you can find a sample of this cream here "latest in beauty"

Temple Spa "Repose" Night Cream
This cream is amazing, and is designed to be an aromatherapy cream to help with anxiety and insomnia. Its rich in Mediterranean botanical's, and I tend to use this when I feel like my skin needs a little extra moisture. I also use it if I am suffering with anxiety, as it helps to deepen breathing. You can buy this from temple spa either "full" or "sample" size.

I hope you have enjoyed this post, and would love to hear from you lovelies below. I also just want to say congratulations to the lovely Kayleigh from "Couture Girl" for reaching over 2000 followers!. She really inspires me, and I would love for you to visit her blog if you haven't already popped over :)

* All products mentioned have been brought with my own money, and are all suitable for sensitive skin.

Random Haul - Apple, Avene & Jack Wills

Hey Beauties!
Hope you are all doing really well ? - I have quite a random haul for you all today, which features technology, skincare & clothing haha. I also have some exciting news about my business "Jewel By India R".

So yesterday my dad totally surprised me by getting me the "New Ipad", It was actually one of the biggest shocks ever, because I hadn't even mentioned getting one. I am so grateful though, and can't wait to make use of it.
Ahhh Ipad! I am so excited haha, but I can't forget my little skincare haul !!

When I was on holiday I totally fell back in love with the "Avene Thermale Water" and I literally seen such a huge difference in my recently irritated skin, that I had to buy some more skincare. I purchased the 300ml Avene Thermale Water, Avene Extremely Gentle Cleanser, Avene Anti Redness Emulsion & I also got a sample of the Avene Micellar water. I also purchased the Neutrogena Blackhead eliminating cleansing lotion for my nose, I honestly think the "Visibly Clear" range is one of the best for problem skin.

Finally, I was having a look through the Jack Wills website and I found this cute jumper. The reason I love the design is because I live in the country, so I see pheasants a lot and happen to think they are really cute. It also fits in nicely with the "Heritage Trend" for this season.

Ipad - Apple
Avene Skincare - Garden Pharmacy
Jack Wills "Pheasant Jumper"

I also wanted to mention the new arrivals to my website www.jewelbyindiar.com - "Majestic Mango" & "Winter Berry" are luxurious hand-blended lip balms which are made with the finest ingredients, and customised with Swarovski!.

Let me know what you lovelies think ?

TAG - 8 Fall Loves

Hey Beauties!
So I was tagged by the very lovely Elysa to do the "8 Fall Loves" TAG which I was quite excited about doing. I don't do that many Tag's, but when a good one comes along I can't resist doing it haha. Firstly, I would like to apologise for one or two things missing, but I just don't have them at hand right now :(
I would love to hear from you lovelies below, and if you do this tag make sure you leave it as a link below. Lots of love and hugs! & hope you enjoy the post!.

Favourite Fall Eyeshadow- I would probably say that "Naked" From the UD #1 palette is my favourites for autumn, Its such a good base colour. I also like "Buck" & "Smog" for autumn!

Favourite Fall Blush - I have recently rediscovered "Bella Bamba" by Benefit and I actually really love it for autumn, it turns out quite a nice Raspberry shade on my cheeks.

Favourite Fall Lipstick- Crystal Pink by Estee Lauder is a beautiful mauve/berry Pink. Its perfect for an everyday autumn look, as it gives a delicate berry shade without being to overpowering or high maintenance.

Favourite Fall Nail Polish- I always like Temple Spa's "Nail Truffle" its a gorgeous bronze that can either work for summer, or as more of an Autumn Brown shade.

Favourite Fall Perfume- My perfume preferences chop and change, but at the moment its Estee Lauder "Sensuous Nude" its not the kind of scent you can smell from afar, but its a really comforting, warm & feminine fragrance.

Favourite Fall Jewellery Item- I would probably say my Chanel Earrings & Tiffany Necklace are going to be my fall favourites, as they are so gorgeous and really add a beautiful twinkle to any outfit.

Favourite Fall Miscellaneous Item- I am just going to say my MAC "MAC RED" lipstick because I am crazy in love with it at the moment haha.

Favourite fall clothing item- I would probably say my new "River Island" Berry coloured jeans, I have hardly been able to take them off haha.

What is the thing you most look forward to about Autumn? - I like new make-up collections, but I like the Fall holidays, and getting cosy and ready for Christmas time.

Do you go trick or treating if so what do you dress up as? - OMG it used to be my favourite thing to do!! Haha, and I was always a "Witch" because I have long dark hair.

I TAG You !

September Favourites

Hey My Loves!
With September swiftly out the way, I can't actually believe its October!!. I am kind of excited for Winter though, I enjoy Halloween, Bonfire Night & Christmas and getting all snugly haha!!. My September favourites are mostly holiday related, but saying that my holiday seems so long ago now (I only got back last Friday).

I'm just trying to think If I have any other updates for you ? - I have been busy with uni work and my intern work, so once I get a break from that in 2 weeks I am going to really put effort into my business which is www.jewelbyindiar.com. I need to add more stock to the website etc, so I will keep you updated with that.

I will be at the #bbloggers chat tonight, so a very warm welcome to my blog if you are visiting me via the #bbloggers chat!.

Pantene Clarifying Shampoo
Haha Yes! I did buy this in Spain just in case you are thinking, why does she have it in Spanish ?. I enjoyed using this shampoo, as I needed something to help me refresh my hair after beach days and nights out. I have started using a more moisturising shampoo since being home, but this is a really great and a cost effective shampoo to use when your hair needs a bit of a clear out!.

Avene Thermale Water Spray
Ahh! I really do love this product, It's kind of a cooling, setting and toning spray all in one. I found that this calmed my recently problem and slightly red skin right down, and my skin has gone back to its normal self. I sometimes just find myself spraying this for the fun of it which is not a cost effective way of using this product haha!. However, I do really love it and would recommend it at an instant.

Thanks to the lovely Sophia I am now the proud owner of MAC "Mac Red". I must admit I was totally scared of Red lipsticks, but now I am actually in love with this shade. I have it featured in my Lip Choices post below, and its just the most perfect cool toned cherry Red. I think this will be a favourite for a very long time to come haha!.

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine 48 Evasion
This lipstick is probably my most talked about lipstick, as its just the most beautiful and wearable lipstick and a true HG for me. I used this for my daily looks on holiday, and it gave me a lovely Pinky/Peach sheen as well as moisturising my lips in the heat.

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Compact B30
This was my go to foundation for my nights out on holiday, it gave me a natural semi matte look with a really nice medium coverage. It's also very handy in the compact, and became a handbag essential on holiday. I adore this foundation, and in total I am on my 6th Vitalumiere Aqua, as I have had it in compact and liquid forms.

Chanel Bronzing Base
Finally, I have another holiday favourite! this should be "Holiday Favourites" really haha!. However, this was such a great product for transitioning my look from day to night. I used it to contour, and it gave my face great definition which was great for a bit more night time intensity.

So now its officially time to say goodbye to summer, and I can't wait to do my October favourites which will be filled with all my Autumn must haves!.

Would love to hear from you beauties below!

❤Autumn/Winter Berry Inspired Look❤

Hello Beauties!
So I had a total inspiration moment today to do a look ideal for Autumn/Winter. My sister actually brought me back a magazine which is for my local City Cardiff. It had loads of Autumn looks and fashion in it, and it really inspired me to create this look for all my lovely followers!.

I am totally throwing myself at the whole berry trend this season, and to be honest I can't get enough of it haha!. I would love to know what trends you are loving this season, and what looks you will be trying out for this Autumn/Winter!?

Berry tones can be worked to create a sophisticated elegance to the face, as well as making more of a bold statement. There are so many shades which can range from Red, Pink & Purples so if you are looking for the perfect A/W shade I would definitely recommend taking your time and having a looking around.

Products Used
Base - For my base I used my YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation In B30. I really like this foundation as it gives a really naturally healthy glow, but for this look I used my Chanel Loose Powder in 30 to give the look more of a matte effect.

Eyes - For my eyes I used the shades "Naked" & "Buck" from my UD Naked Palette #1 to create the matte brown look to accompany the strong lipstick used in the look. I also did a subtle wing by using the darker shade "Buck" (which you can see in the image below). I then concealed my under eye area with my Benefit Erase Paste #2 Concealer, and finished of with a few light handed flicks of my Chanel Intimitable Mascara. I would recommend you visit "PetiteSals" blog if you want to see some amazing eye looks to go with this look.

Face - In the look the model is actually wearing a dark blush not bronzer to contour, but I don't have a dark blush in my collection, so I had to make a compromise haha. I used NARS Deep Throat and my Chanel Bronzing Base to create a tawny kind of effect on my cheeks.

Lips - For my lips I used my own "Jewel By India R" Lipbalm in the flavour "Honey Bea" to create an instant moisturised base, for my YSL Volupte Lipstick in Exquisite Plum to go on top of. It's important that you keep your lips in good condition if you want to wear some slightly more bold shades for Autumn & Winter. I think the YSL lipstick is a show stopper, and it's true colour is more similar to the models lips. I would always recommend putting a strong colour on with a lip brush, as it helps you get a better and more precise finish.

I would love to know what you thought about this look ?

❤Autumn/Winter Lip Choices❤

Hey My Loves!
Today I thought I would post about my lip choices for this coming Autumn/Winter. I quite enjoy winter, and getting all cosy! I'm like a giant bear always after cuddles haha. I have also been pretty busy adjusting after getting back off holiday, as well as catching up on my Business assignments & my Intern work at Ikandi.

I hope you enjoy this post, and I would love to hear from you all below. I honestly missed all my followers so much when I was away, and its great to be back to blogging!.

I would love to hear about your favourite lip products for A/W ?

MAC "Shy Girl"
I think a Nude is essential for summer and winter, and the shade "Shy Girl" by MAC is the perfect option to cater for both. It is a fairly warm nude, which means that it wont wash your skin tone out like some Nudes would.

Estee Lauder "Crystal Pink"
I purchased this from Harrods as it come in a gift set, and I have to say its one of the most lovely wearable berry shades I have ever tried. The formulae is fantastic, and Its from the "Pure Color Crystal" range just for reference. I have been wearing this the most since I have gotten home, and I think its the perfect transition shade from Summer to Winter.

YSL Rouge Volupte in "Exquisite Plum"
This is by far the most daring shade I have chosen, but it is a really intensely beautiful shade. I think this would be fabulous for more of a statement look, as its such a striking colour in and out of the tube.

This is my second ever Red lip product, and I must admit I don't think I have ever been more in love with a Red shade before. I have glanced at many, but have always been to scared to try a shade!. However, this Cool toned Cherry Red is perfect for lighter skinned girls like myself. I was really nervous about wearing it at first in case it didn't suit me, but now I feel like it will be a winter staple for sure!.

I hope you have enjoyed this post & I would love to hear from you all !
