Christmas TAG - I TAG YOU!

 Hi Beauties!
Long time no speak, but don't worry I have a few posts lined up for you to tell you exactly what I have been up to, as well as some new goodies I have acquired recently. When I seen this TAG it made me feel so cozy and in the mood for Christmas, so I couldn't wait to do it and get it posted on the blog. My next post is going to be back to beauty! And I'm really excited to tell you about how I have been getting along with some new products. Just to let you know the picture above is one I took from home last Christmas, but your more than welcome to use it, but if you could just link back that would be great! I hope you enjoy this cute little TAG - I TAG YOU! <3

1. What time of year do you start your Christmas shopping?
Well put it this way I am a last minute kinda girl! haha. I have probably done like 30% of my Christmas shopping, so I think I need to get my skates on a little bit :D

2. Do you have any festive recipes for food or drink you limit solely to the Christmas season to share?
I'm not the best in the kitchen to be honest! And I really don't like Christmas Pudding or Mince Pies :( but I do enjoy making cakes and decorating them with Christmas figures.

3. Tell me how Christmas goes down in your home?
It's so funny because my two sisters always used to be up at like 4am when they were younger... but ever since I can remember I have woken up between 8-9 on Christmas Day! Hey I like my sleep haha. I just love to chill on Christmas day, and enjoy some quality family time with some delicious Fortnum and Mason & M&S food!

4. Do you have any Christmas traditions?
Christmas Nibbles are huge in my house haha! we have little bowl's of treats all around the house. Me and my dad also buy Hennessey and drink it with coke, its like our little tradition. Every year we also watch the Snowman film and the original Santa Claus film.

5. Do you have a favourite festive coffee?
Costa are doing some nice ones! but I must admit I love my Cappuccino’s

6. Do you have a favourite Christmas song?
YES! WHAM Last Christmas .... nothing will ever beat it in my eyes! I used to sing it when I was younger as well haha.

7. What do you do on Christmas Eve?
Christmas Eve is all about getting cozy and preparing some delicious food and drink. Now Honey (my niece) is two years old, its going to be Amazing getting her all excited like I used to be (hate getting older) I'm 100% a big kid at heart.

8. What's your Christmas wrapping strategy?
My mum does mine for me haha! I'm rubbish at it.

9. What's your dream gift this year?
I have had such an amazing year gift wise, as it was my 21st ... But I have some goodies on my list for Christmas as well ;) fingers crossed haha!

10. Describe your Christmas tree? How tall? Real or artificial? How is it decorated?
We have a real tree, but also some artificial ones :) - We have 7 Christmas tree's in our house, we are a little obsessed with them haha.

11. Do you decorate just the tree or other area's of your house?
We decorate the trees and have cute lights on in the house! but we also have lights outside, it looks so gorgeous as my sisters partner is a tree surgeon, which means he makes us wooden reindeers, and uses lights to make the reindeer look like they are dancing.

12. What do you wear on Christmas day?
A Christmas Jumper :D This year's one lights up haha! I love it.

I hope you have enjoyed this post beauties! I tag you :) so make sure you leave your TAGS below for me to read!

Lots of love

Winter Lip Combo - YSL Exquisite Plum & MAC Boys Go Crazy

Hi Beauties!
Hope you are all doing well ? I have been really busy the past few days, so I wanted to devote tonight to giving my blog some love! I went shopping today and got some cute bits from New Look and omg New Look have some amazing Christmas Jumpers in this year...I ended up spending a small fortune but I couldn't be happier with my cute jumpers and other wintery bits and bobs that I purchased. I am also in work all over the weekend, as well as starting my Financial decision making module which is quite amusing considering how much money I have been spending latley! maybe it will actually help me haha. I'm also seriously looking into getting my brand Jewel By India R back up and running in the New Year. I really miss working with my business, and feel that I'm ready to devote time to it once again. SO! with all that aside I thought that I would post about one of my favourite lip combo's at the moment. I have been loving wearing a flawless but quite basic face with a real bold Red of Purple/Plum lip. I hope you all enjoy this post and as always feel free to tweet me or leave a message below with your links or any comments you have :) I will always try my best to get back to you, and I honestly appreciate all my lovely readers for taking the time to read my blog posts!

YSL Rouge Volupte Exquisite Plum
Rouge Volupte's are known for their extremely luxurious appearance, as well as their beautiful buttery texture. They are definitely one of my all time favourites, and Exquisite Plum is a stunning Autumn/Winter shade. My parents actually purchased this for me as a gift and I remember thinking OMG I don't think I can wear that! then when I swatched it and seen how pigmented it was I was actually a little terrified haha. However, I couldn't have been more wrong! Exquisite Plum is a bold shade, but its a lot more wearable than I first thought. I actually find that the Deep Plum shade helps to brighten my face, and the staying power is amazing on this little beauty considering I thought it would be quite a high maintenance shade to wear. The pigmentation is probably one of the best I have ever experienced, and I love that you can apply this lighter for a more toned down "Berry" shade, or totally vamp it up to full coverage. I find myself reaching for this shade at least three times a week, and overall I think this is an absolutely stunning lipstick that offers  amazing moisture, colour, staying power and of course amazing packaging!

MAC DAZZLEGLASS "Boys Go Crazy"
When the Lavish Rose Lip Gloss Set was released last year I knew that it was a must have for me! I think this was a limited edition set, but if you like this shade MAC are always re-releasing or creating similar shades, so I'm sure something will come up especially with the Christmas season upon us. Boys go crazy is a stunning semi opaque purple/violet shade with blue sparkle. It reminds me of a party in a lip gloss tube, as there is so much going on! - I absolutely love layering this shade on top of "Exquisite Plum" as it gives the lip a real high gloss finish and the added sparkle is great for the Christmas season.
As you can see Exquisite Plum looks quite Red on the swatch, but its much more of a dark Burgundy/plum shade. I love the combination of these two lip products, and it reminds me of the J20 Limited Edition "Glitter Berry" drink which you can see here haha! its one of those things that needs to be seen to understand what I mean ;) - I would love to hear your thoughts about this combo, and I would also love to hear all about your favourite lip and general beauty combinations at the moment.

Just a quick note lovelies some of my images on my blog aren't showing, but I have multiple Photo Bucket accounts, so I just need to adjust my bandwidth on them! I will do this as soon as possible :)

Elemis Freshskin Smoothly Does It Gift Set

Hi Lovelies!
Hope you are all doing really well ? I think its safe to say that here in the UK the Winter has finally arrived. It's blustery and cold, and all I want to do is snuggle up in my most cosy PJ's. With the Wintery weather I have noticed my skin go from Normal/Combination to Normal/Dry, which is probably something to do with the cold and windy weather. So Today's post is going to be Skincare! woohoo my favourite topic haha. I am such a Skincare Junkie, but good skin makes me feel so much more confident, as well as helping my make up to look so much better. Skincare doesn't have to be complicated or expensive, and Elemis is the best skincare company for proving that! Elemis offer an amazing and very affordable skincare rage called "Fresh Skin" which is targeted from teens all the way up to mid twenties. The skincare is simple but effective, which makes it a great option if you don't want the hassle of a complex routine. Elemis have now officially released their Holiday Gift Sets, as well as Gift Sets for their Fresh Skin Range. Gift Sets are actually a really amazing way to try out a brand, as ofter they are much better value and come in a range of both full size and tester size products. It can be quite risky just taking the plunge on expensive skincare, so doing it this way is a lot easier and more cost effective. I will be reviewing the Smoothly Does It Gift Set, which retails for £25.00. I'm sure you are all aware that I work at an Elemis Spa and time after time I see very happy clients, so I'm very proud to work for such a fantastic British Brand.  I have used some of the products from this gift set before, so I think I will be able to give you a really good review about the products. I hope you enjoy this review, and if you have any questions then don't hesitate to leave them and your links in the comments section below :D

Elemis Fresh Skin Smoothly Does It Gift Set*
A gift set that includes everything you need to achieve cleansed, nourished and brighter looking skin. The products come housed in a lovely travel friendly Pink case, which makes maintaining your skincare a piece of cake, even when your on the go!

So what do you get ?

Freshskin Make-Up Cleansing Wipes (Full Size)
Enriched with Elderflower extract and Chamomile, these are definitely make-up wipes with a difference. I have found them to be super gentle on my skin, as well as leaving my skin feeling comfortable after using them. Most make-up wipes contain quite a lot of chemicals, but the gentle ingredients within the fresh skin wipes help to make these wipes far more soothing than any others I have tried. I don't really use make-up wipes that much, but they are really handy to have just in case you have any make-up mishaps.

Freshskin Loving Lips Quenching Lip Balm (Full Size)
The perfect way to combat Harsh winds, frost, and strong wintery sunlight which all contribute to painful chapped lips. Vitamin E, Sweet Almond Oil and Passionflower Oil all help to soften and condition the lips. I love the refreshing peppermint scent (which isn't too strong) it's really easy to apply, and has become a daily staple for me. I suffer really badly with chapped lips, so it is great to have a lip balm that not only keeps my lips moisturised, but gives them a plump glossy look too.

Freshskin Softly Softly Daily Moisturiser
Enriched with seaweed extract, Rose hip Seed oil and Sweet almond oil this light and non-greasy moisturiser is a great way to protect and moisturise your skin. The ingredients also help to give the skin an instant hydration boost, as well as helping to improve the skins radiance. I have used this moisturiser since the start of the year and its a great moisturiser especially for the winter time, as its very nourishing and soothing.

Freshskin Skin Glow Exfoliating Face Wash (Full Size)
A deep pore cleansing exfoliating face wash, which contains cherry powder and jojoba beads to gently polish and refine the skins texture. Enriched with mandarin and aniseed this Exfoliator helps to soften and condition, leaving skin clean and radiant. This is another product I have used for a long time now, and it is such a great staple exfoliator. It smells lovely! like a combination between Mandarin and cherry, and the jojoba beads aren't to harsh or scratchy on the skins surface.

Freshskin Magical Moisture Quenching Face Mask
A super softening face mask that contains white lupin, artic cranberry seed oi and apple extract to deliver an instant moisture boost, while aloe vera gently soothes the skin. Overall, your skin should be left feeling radiant and exceptionally soft. I must admit this was the total surprise out of the whole gift set, and an Elemis product I was yet to try. I honestly can't believe how good this face mask is, and how soft it left my skin feeling, this is definitely a dark horse product from Elemis and needs much more praise! The only one thing is that it comes in sachet form :( which makes it quite hard to travel with it or use it after you have opened it.

Overall
I think this would make an absolutely amazing gift for your daughter, sister, best friend or girlfriend with Christmas on its way. It is also a great way to try out some new skincare for a really good price, plus you get a super cute Pink Case..who doesn't love a cute beauty case? haha. The Smoothly Does It Gift Set retails for £25.00 (a saving of 35%) and you get four full size products which makes this a great gift set to try!

The A/W Beauty TAG - Created By Me!

Hi Lovelies!
Hope you are all doing really well ? I have been so busy lately that a nice day or two to myself has been the perfect way to get some blog posts written up. I have also been house hunting with my boyfriend, so it has been exciting but nervous times for me haha. Today’s post is going to be short but sweet, as it’s actually a TAG I have created myself. I have wanted to create a TAG for ages, but its something I just haven’t got around to… and I feel a bit weird answering my own questions haha but hey ho! – I really enjoyed doing this TAG, and I would love for some of my readers to do it and send me the links via twitter which I will RT… So I TAG you ;) In a nutshell this is a Autumn/Winter inspired Beauty Tag, which I hope you will all enjoy reading and doing if you like :D. As always, I love hearing from my loyal readers, so don’t forget to leave your links and comments down below.
What is your current go to foundation for A/W 13?
It would have to be my YSL Youth Liberator Foundation in B30! It gives amazing coverage and stays put all day, as well as having great skincare benefits.

What is your favorite Lip Balm for winter?
My own Jewel By India R Lip Balms! They are so luxurious, and their thick balmy texture keeps my lips moisturized all day.

If you had to choose to wear one lipstick shade all winter what would it be?
I can think of at least five :O but if I had to pick one shade for the whole of winter I would choose Laura Mercier 60’s Pink. It’s a really gorgeous baby Pink shade, and it looks so pretty with a subtle Smokey eye, which I wear a lot in the winter days.

Describe your most worn wintery make up look?
I always ditch my Peach tones for my Pinks in the winter, as I think they look more natural and flattering. I also go for a subtle brown Smokey eye in the daytime, as I think it helps to make your eyes pop. I then opt for a slightly higher coverage foundation, to help keep my skin looking flawless all day long.

What beauty product would you most like to try next?
I already have the sample size, but I would love to get my hands on the bigger size of the new Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair ii Serum. I’m loving the sample size, and can definitely see myself purchasing the bigger one when it runs out.

What are your favorite products in your current skincare routine?
This changes all the time haha! But the products that stand out are my Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm, Elemis Pro Radiance Cream Cleanser, Elemis Apricot Toner and my Origins Super Spot Remover!

What is your favorite winter scent?
I haven’t put down my Prada Candy recently; I’m a sucker for the sweetie scents.

TAG created by The Jewel Beauty

Well lovelies that’s my A/W Beauty TAG done! I hope you enjoyed it, and I would love to see some of you give it a go and give me some feedback! Make sure you send me the links if you do decide to do it, and I will make sure I RT them on twitter for you. Speak soon beauts!

KORRES "Pink" Mandarin Lip Butter Stick SPF 15 Review

Hi Lovelies!
Woohoo another post for you :D I feel like I'm finally back to my blogging self! I must admit this year has been pretty crazy, but at the same time really amazing. I have never been the best at organising my time haha, so to be able to be doing more regular posts again really does make me feel happy. Today's post is going to be about quite a new Korres Lip Butter, and with winter looming I thought it would be a great idea to post about this product. Every October I feel my lips starting to dry, and before I know it they are super chapped and just erghhh! So I'm always on the look out for new lip products to help keep my lips in tip top condition. If you have read my blog for a while you will probably know that I had my own lip balm brand called Jewel By India R. I am still working on the business, but with work and my uni taking up so much time I felt like I was starting to spred myself a bit thin. I have so much time to develop my brand, so its something I'm looking forward to doing in the future. Anyway! enough with my rambling haha :) I hope you enjoy the review!

The Review
After falling in love with my Korres Potted Lip Butter in Guava I was quite excited to see a new and more travel friendly Korres Lip Butter. I choose the Pink shade which uses Mandarin Oil to soften the lips, as well as including all of the traditional ingredients such as Shea butter and sunflower wax. The design is also quite cool, and I like the type writing style on tube. However, I have been left underwhelmed by this product. I have become used to the melt in my hand kind of texture that the potted version offers, but this just isn't the same. When I apply it to my lips they don't feel super nourished, but instead leave my lips feeling quite dryish even after applying the lip butter. I think for £8.00 I was expecting a more comfortable and less hard texture to this lip butter. I have a feeling the SPF ingredients may be why it isn't as moisturising as the potted version, and obviously as its in tube form it does have to have a harder texture to stay in shape. Despite it not being as good as the potted version the colour it gives my lips is Ahhmazing! it makes my lips turn into a beautiful dusky rose, which is so flattering for the Autumn time. It is also very hassle free and non messy in comparison to the potted butter, so it makes it good for me to take to work, as I get a bit of colour and moisture at the same time. I do like this product, but for the price I was expecting it to be a lot better! so I won't be re purchasing. I would say that the Revlon Lip Butter's are a better option for a similar price, and they keep my lips feeling softer for longer.
Overall
The lighting in the above picture does make it look slightly reddish, but it is actually more of a dark dusky Pink. It is a nice product with a quirky design and lovely colour pay off, but in terms of it being a "lip butter" it does fall short of what I was expecting for £8.00. It does have SPF which is great for the summer, but I think its the SPF which doesn't make it as buttery and soft as the potted version. I was quite disappointed that my lips felt dryish in under half an hour of applying it. I do like it and will definitely use it up, as its miles easier to use that the potted version which leaves your fingers quite messy. Have you used one of Korres new lip butters ? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below. I hope you have enjoyed this post my lovelies, and I will be back with another beauty/skincare related post for you soon :D

#BarcelonaGems - My Itinerary

Hi Lovelies!
Today's post is going to be a little different and will be inspired by one of my favourite City's ever. Beautiful Barcelona! The perfect way to sum up the City in just two words. I have actually been to this fantastic City a few times before, and it always keeps me coming back for more. Barcelona is all about the gorgeous architecture, but lets not forget how stylish Barcelona really is. There is so much I love about the City, as it has so much diversity. If your a lover of architecture and art then its the perfect place to visit, If your a lover of shopping then its the perfect place to visit! and if your a lover of sport then say no more, as Camp Nou is the pinnacle of football and sports stadiums. I visited the City last December for my boyfriends birthday, and we were super lucky to be able to watch a football match. Our seats were absolutely amazing, and the City in general was just full of life. I am going to be writing a four day itinerary about what I would do if I was lucky to go back to the Beautiful Barcelona. So I hope you enjoy this post lovelies, and if you have been to Barcelona or would like to go, then make sure you leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
Day 1 - Explore
Lets forget about the time consuming packing, travelling and checking into hotels! I always want to get right out into the City and explore what it has to offer even if I'm tired haha (there is no time like the present) I would head straight for the beautiful streets of Barcelona and take some first day holiday snaps. La Pedrera (below) is an example of the stunning architecture in Barcelona, as well as La Sagrada Familia which is a beautiful church and architecture at its best. In the night I would head out for some casual drinks and check out the Magic Fountain, as it looks absolutely beautiful when it changes colour in the evening.

 photo 19daf0a2-8e44-4cd7-9892-de9aae0e1b9d_zps439bd41a.jpg
Day 2 - Shopping
Everybody loves to shop and Barcelona is a City which offers some of the very best shopping. I love my designers, but Barcelona offers shopping options for everyone. I would head for the gorgeous boutiques to see what other gorgeous goodies I could add to my collection. However, If you are beauty mad like me, then make sure you head for Sephora to check out an amazing selection of beauty brands, some of which you can't buy in the UK. If your a big kid like myself then the Imaginarium Toy Shop is defiantly a must! I honestly wanted to buy everything for my baby niece haha, as you can see I tried to go through the small door! After a busy day shopping I would then head out in the night for a lovely meal! I always love checking out different Hard Rock Cafe's in the City's that I am lucky to travel to, and the one in Barcelona was definitely full of atmosphere as well as having great food.
 photo 05e925ce-794d-4a78-a249-80c46fced2bb_zpse43a7b78.jpg
Day 3 - Football
The Camp Nou is a total experience and 100% worth a visit even if its just for the Stadium Tour. Even for a super shopper like myself, I would have to go and check out the Stadium Tour and even get tickets if there was a game. Seeing Messi Score was a definite highlight of my trip, and something I will always remember and hopefully do again. The atmosphere is just something else, and the sheer size of the stadium is a real eye opener.
 photo f43825ac-a188-48fb-a2db-e2f71f05a0ec_zpsf5ec3fe0.jpg
Day 4 - Have Fun
The last day should be about ending your trip on a high note! I always make fun plans for the last day, so that I can look back and remember what an amazing time I have had in the city. In the day I would definitely take a general stroll around the city, as well as going for a coffee in Jingles to look over the breathtaking view of the city, and to look back on my trip. In the night I would then head to the ice bar (down by the seafront), and have a cocktail as its a really fun experience and not something most of us get a chance to do very often.

So lovelies! that is my little travel guide to Barcelona and all the things I love and would love to do whilst in Barcelona. If you haven't been before then it is definitely worth a visit, as it is such a beautiful and diverse City to visit. As always I love hearing from my lovely readers, so make sure you leave your links in the comments section and I will try and check as many of them out as I can.

Evening Skincare Routine - Elemis, Emma Hardie, L'Oreal, Origins & Estee Lauder

Hi Lovelies!
Tonight’s post is going to be a follow up from my recent “Morning Skincare Routine” Post. I am really happy with both of my skincare routines at the moment, and thought It would be a great idea to share what I’m loving with my lovely readers. I must admit I do prefer my Evening Routine, as it feels a lot more relaxing. The products I use at night tend to be heavier, as I like to make sure my skin is properly cleansed from the days dirt and makeup, as well as preparing my skin for the next day. I have been really focusing on skincare recently, but my next few posts are going to be devoted to my favourite make-up products at the moment. I was also thinking of doing my "Spa Face Tutorial" as it would be a great way to share with you what products I love to use for work. Well lovelies! I will stop with my rambling now and get straight into my "Evening Skincare Routine" Enjoy!

About My Routine
My evening routine is always more thorough! I love making it into my own little spa time. I always tend to light a candle, run a bath and make myself a herbal tea before bed! So my evening skincare turns into my own little relaxing ritual. It’s so important to try and fit in some “me time” into your day and I find my evening skincare routine is the perfect time to do that. photo 2446cd15-ddc7-433e-aca6-760e672e85bb_zpsb2c6519a.jpg

 photo 53fca878-2bbe-4f17-9900-81e196db305c_zps8ee29cc8.jpg
Pre Cleanse
To star my routine I always use my L’Oreal Micellar Water to remove any surface dirt, as well as using it to remove my eye makeup.

Cleanse
I then use my beloved Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm to thoroughly remove the day’s makeup and dirt. I love the fact that this is an oil-based cleanser, as it does an amazing job of melting away the dirt and leaving the skin perfectly balanced. It can also be used as a mask, so I tend to leave this on for a few minutes before I remove it with a warm face cloth. Despite this being the best cleanser I have tried.. it actually has the worst packaging ever!! (as you can see) and this pot got in this state after very light use within about two weeks :(

Tone
I follow my double cleanse with my Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner as my evening toner. It smells absolutely amazing and really finishes off the cleansing part of my routine without leaving my skin irritated.
 photo 7ddc6bc4-db9f-4a19-b485-91d150cd06cb_zpsfdadfd3e.jpg
Serum
I received the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair II as a sample, and have been loving using this as my evening Serum. It’s actually a really generous sample and can see it lasting me another two weeks. I will 100% be purchasing the larger size of this, as I have already seen an improvement in the texture of my skin. It’s never to early to start anti ageing, and this product is a great place to start.

Moisturiser
I love using my Origins Make A Difference + Treatment as my nightly moisturiser, as it really focuses on building an intense level of hydration for your skin overnight. It is oil free, which makes it great for my combination skin! And I always wake up with lovely plump and hydrated skin in the morning.

Eye Care
In the night I swap my Ginzing Eye Cream for the Origins Eye Doctor. I love this at night because it’s quite thick, and it does a great job at moisturising the area surrounding your eyes. It doesn’t have any dramatic claims, which I really like, as it’s just a great product for generally looking after the eye area.
 photo 22696c50-30fe-4554-968f-fe2a11bc703f_zpsfba79e58.jpg
Exfoliate
I usually exfoliate around twice a week, and I have never used a better exfoliator than the Origins Modern Friction, which is described as "natures natural dermabrasion". It does an amazing job of removing dead skin without being to harsh on the face! plus it leaves your face feeling super smooth and squeaky clean.

Face Treats
I always swap around my face treats all the time! and two of my favourites are my Elemis Herbal Lavender Mask, and my Elemis Fruit Rejuvenating Mask! However, I'm currently using my Origins Masks, which are also totally amazing.

Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask
This mask is amazing, and well worth the hype! As you don’t need to wash it off, and my skin always looks amazing in the morning (plus the apricot/peach scent is yummy)

Origins Clear Improvements Mask
I use this mask on a Sunday to completely clear out my skin! The charcoal acts as a magnet to clear out all of the week’s dirt. My skin is left without a blackhead or clogged pore in sight.

So Lovelies! that is my evening skincare routine done and dusted. I hope you have enjoyed reading my skincare posts, and as always I love hearing from my lovely readers. If you have any skincare questions, or would just like to comment about something in this post, then please just leave it in the comments section below.

Morning Skincare Routine - Elemis, Hydraluron, L'Oreal & Origins!

Hi Beauties!
Today's post is going to be about my current morning skincare routine. I'm sure you are all aware of my HUGE obsession with skincare haha, but its something I'm so so passionate about. There is nothing more I love than being at work and being able help recommend products for clients who aren't sure what they need to make their skin look fantastic. My personal skincare routine is like my own little "spa" time and I really take a lot of time and consideration when doing my routine morning and evening. However, I haven't always been this religious with skincare! so I totally understand make-up wipe moments haha.. I always carry them even though I don't use them, as they are super hand for other beauty mishaps :D. I also decided to get a little creative, and pick some autumn flower and leaves to make my pictures look a little prettier, which I hope you like. I love recommending skincare, and working at a spa has really helped me to learn all about the skin, and what exactly it needs to function properly. If you lovelies ever need any help or advice, then leave me a message in the comments section below!

About My Routine
My skincare routine tends to change around twice, maybe three times a year at most. It's really important to get a routine that works for your skin, and its not always easy to get it right first time. I find skincare completely trial and error, but I'm so pleased with my current skincare routine. This routine isn't the same as the first half of 2013, but it's not because I didn't like what I was using.. but actually its really good to give your skin something new to try, as your skin does get used to products after a while. I'm especially loving experimenting with Hydraluron by Indeed Labs, as its been really hyped recently.

Step 1 - Cleanse
I always like to opt for quite a hassle free cleanser in the morning, as I like to save my balm cleansers for my evening routine. I have been loving the "Elemis Lime Blossom Cleasing Milk", which has a luxurious milky, and easy to remove texture. I like to take this cleanser off  with a warm face cloth, as I find this helps to completely remove all traces of the cleanser from my face.

Step 2 - Tone
My absolute favourite Toner is the "Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner" it helps that is smells absolutely ahhmazing! but at the same time it genuinely is the best toner I have used so far. It helps to remove any left over cleanser residue, as well as restoring the PH level within your skin. I find that it really soothes my skin, and does not aggravate my slight redness like some toners can do.

Step 3 - Serum
In terms of skincare guru's I absolutely adore watching Lily Pebbles and Viviana does makeup's video's on skincare. I noticed that both of them had been using the latest craze "Hydraluron" and I just couldn't resist trying it myself. Hydraluron isn't designed to be the kind of product to instantly wow you with amazing results. It instead targets your skin at a much deeper level, and work to build a reservoir of water in the top layers of skin. I am really liking it so far, and can't wait to give you a more in depth review.

Step 4 - Moisturise
I have been loving using "Origin's Ginzing Moisturiser"! It smells like fresh Orange Juice, but gives your skin the energy of drinking a fresh Coffee. It works so well for my normal/combination skin, and It leaves me feeling hydrated all day.

Step 5 - Eye Care
I then finish my routine by applying my Origin's Ginzing Eye Cream which leaves your eye area feeling super perky! It's a fantastic eye cream, and I find its great for day use as it isn't too thick.

❤Recent Origins Purchases❤ "Modern Friction" & "Ginzing Energy Boosing Moisturiser"

Hi Beauties!
Today’s post is going to be about two cheeky Origins purchases! I have honestly asked myself how much more skincare do I need haha?!. Over a month ago I made quite a large Origins Order and received “modern friction” as a sample, and since using it I haven’t looked back.. its ahh mazing stuff :) So I knew that as soon as my sample had run out that I was going to need to purchase the larger size. I then decided to check out the Ginzing Moisturiser, as it has been raved about all over the blogosphere recently, so that also made its way into my shopping basket. I have been using “modern friction” for well over a month now at around twice a week, and I have been using the Ginzing Moisturiser for around two weeks now, so I thought it would be a good time to let you know how I’m getting along with both of these products. I hope you enjoy this post lovelies, and as always if you have any questions or would just like to leave your links, then go ahead and put them in the comments section for me to check out. I absolutely love hearing from all my loyal readers, so don’t be shy! – You can always tweet me as well, if you have any specific questions or requests for me to answer.

Origins Modern Friction Exfoliator £33.00 (125ml)
Firstly, I would like to thank Origins for making such an amazing exfoliator that I actually like. I always seem to have niggles with exfoliator's as I'm never 100% happy with either the consistency or result. However, since using Modern Friction my opinion on exfoliator's has done a complete 360!

Described as Nature's Gentle Dermabrasion, Modern Friction is a rice starch exfoliator cushioned in cream to make the exfoliation a lot more gentle. Lemon Oil kick starts the process of beautiful illuminated skin, and Vitamin C works hard to get rid of skin menacing free radicals. Modern Friction also contains aloe to help soothe the skin during the exfoliation process, as well as peppermint oil to help protect the skins surface from breaking out.

I have absolutely loved using this product twice a week and have found my skin to be a lot more even and generally brighter since using it. The texture is quite thick as you can see from the picture below, and kind of reminds me of rice pudding haha! but don't let that put you off as it's such an amazing product. It doesn't make my skin go red, and it can be used wet or dry depending on how strong you like to exfoliate your skin. It's become a product I actually really look forward to using, and I can see it staying in my routine for a very long time. The only one niggle I have is that if you get it in your eyes boy do you know it!! but that's probably something to do with the lemon and peppermint oils haha, but if you can get a sample first then I would always recommend doing so first, especially as this product is £33.00 (125ml)

Origins Ginzing Moisturiser £23.00 (50ml)
A brand new addition to the Origins moisturiser family, and a very good addition at that. I have used the Origins Ginzing Eye Cream, and was so excited that there was another Ginzing on the block! - However, I resisted buying it for a while as I literally have only just purchased the Origins "Make A Difference+" but being a true beauty blogger I knew it wasn't going to be long before I added this to my skincare collection.

The Ginzing Moisturiser is described as being an energy boosting moisturiser that instantly perks up your skin in the morning. Light weight and oil free this moisturiser uses caffeine and panax ginseng to really rev your skins hydration levels. We all know that Coffee is famous for waking us up, and giving us a bit of ooomph! and this is exactly what this moisturiser does for the complexion.

Overall, I have been loving this moisturiser for the morning as it really does make my skin feel "ready to go" The scent is also absolutely amazing and It smells like fresh Orange Juice, which makes it even better to put on in the morning yummy!. It brightens your complexion, but at the same time it doesn't add too much illumination which makes it great to put under make-up. I also love the fact that it has such a light weight gel/cream consistency, which makes it perfect for my normal/combination skin. I wouldn't use this in the night (even though it would be fine to do so) as I find it such an invigorating moisturiser, and I'm a pretty bad sleeper! so I will be keeping this little baby for the morning times, and using my Make A Difference + treatment in the evening.

I hope you have enjoyed this post lovelies, and as always if you need any help and advice then make sure you leave your questions in the comments section below. I am planning some exciting posts on my blog and even a cheeky giveaway, so make sure you keep checking back to find out more :)
