❤Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lipstick Séduisante - Review❤

Hello My Lovelies!
Hope you are all doing really well ? - Today, I wanted to do a review of one of my current favourite lipsticks by Chanel. If you know me then you will know I have a slight obsession with Chanel, and their make-up is just a beautiful. I purchased this lipstick as a little extra treat just before Christmas and thought it was about time I shared this little beauty with you. I literally can't wait for the next two weeks to be over with, as I have a major final assignment, which is completely stressing me out. I should be doing it now, but I worked myself up so much that I needed a bit of blogging therapy haha!. I do get some time off soon though, in which I'm going to go make-up shopping :D and sort out my business Jewel By India R.

Chanel recently re-vamped their formula for this lipstick and also I'm in love with the gorgeous pop up packaging. I have my eye on a few new shades and also the beautiful new Chanel highlighter from the Spring 2013 collection. So, hopefully I will pick up some more bits when I finally get a chance to go shopping and YAY! I have money on my Debenhams beauty club card, which is always a bonus haha!

Séduisante is described as being a medium warm Pink which can be worn on many skin tones. It actually reminds me of a smoothie Pink, but it is very pretty and wearable. I was drawn to this shade because it reminded me slightly of a shade I love by Estee Lauder "Crystal Pink" which is also a medium Pink with some berry tones. One of the best things about this lipstick is its wearing time, I was able to wear it for about 6 hours which is really good for me, I also found it to be lightly moisturizing.  Another thing about this range of lipstick is that its designed to be on the full coverage side, but my swatches above show two swipes of the product. Of course, we can't forget about the fabulous packaging as well!! - I love the pop up packaging and the classic Gold and Black is always a hit for me. However, at £25.00 this makes this lipstick pretty pricey and if you are a fan of the super moisturizing Rouge Coco Shines, then you might find this a little more drying.

I would love to know what you think about this shade ? - Is it something you would buy ?

Lots of love

Clynol Salon Exclusive Wonder 10 Spray Review

Hi Lovelies!
Today, I have a review of the Clynol Salon Exclusive Wonder 10 Spray, so I hope you enjoy it lovelies. I have had this little beauty for a while now and have been giving it a good test out. Clynol Wonder 10* is a multitasking hair product which is designed to give your hair more than just one solution. Having really long hair that can sometimes misbehave, I was very welcoming to all of Clynol's fabulous claims. So after trying this product out for over a month now, I can safely say that I have really enjoyed it. My hair is naturally very thick and it can get quite tangly at times, but Wonder 10 surprised me with its performance.
I have always been a bit 50/50 on hair oils and leave in sprays as I find they can weigh my hair down and help to make it greasy even quicker than normal. However, I found Wonder 10 to be light and that really was a lovely surprise.Wonder 10 also leaves my hair really healthy looking and its been useful in de-tangling my hair when it has been misbehaving. A few sprays really does help to nourish my hair and its just fantastic that I can leave it in without having to wash it out. I washed my hair and have used only Clynol as a treatment to show you how my hair looks after using it. For under £10.00 I think this is a great product to have in your hair care routine, as its super hassle free but does what its supposed to. Another bonus is the nice smell, which is quite important.. because if something smells horrible all over your hair then that's just not good haha!.  I used a similar product from L'Oreal a while ago and totally didn't get along with it, so I would recommend this as being the best leave in hair treatment I have tried so far.
I would love to know what you think about this product - Have you tried it ?

Take Care Lovelies!

Enrapture Totem Curling Barrel Review

Hi Lovelies!
Today, I have a really exciting post for you all as I was very kindly sent this lovely Enrapture Totem Curling Barrel to try out. I have never had much luck with curling barrels due to my long and very thick hair, the only thing that has ever seemed to do the job previously was my Babyliss Heated Rollers. So, as you can imagine I was pretty excited to try out these curlers, especially as they had been used on the latest Bond girl in Sky fall "Berenice Marlohe". Once I received them I was actually like wow! at the packaging and yes I am a total sucker for packaging haha!. The Gold and Blue packaging made the item look really classy and luxurious, and the the magnetic box was also a nice touch. However, despite the lovely outer packaging it was obviously the product itself that counted the most. I have taken some pictures to show you the results of using the barrel and now I will explain in a little more detail about this product, so you can get more of an idea about how it actually works. The totem barrel is a unique curling tool that allows you to set the three zones to different temperatures using the encoder dial, resulting in an array of different curls. The setting that I used was 2-2-2 which is a medium heat/curl.
How lovely is the packaging ? and you also get a style guide and heat proof bag, which is fab!
Haha! Here I am in my big cosy dressing gown & here is my first ever Enrapture Curl!
Here are what the curls on setting 2-2-2 came out like :D
[FD Avenue Dress & Enrapture Curls after brushing them out slightly]
Overall, I'm absolutely thrilled with how my Enrapture curls have turned out. I loved how quick the barrels heated up and the swivel cord was an absolute dream and something I have never had on a previous barrel. The swivel cord allowed me to create the curls a lot quicker and with so much more ease, compared to my previous curling tools. I also love how the barrel has the customization dial to create your perfect curl as well as being able to use it as a wand to create soft everyday waves. The only thing I missed was a little sound to let me know that they had heated up a feature which my GHD's have, but apart from that I have really enjoyed using these curlers. Another really good thing is that the curls stay in my hair really well all day and when they do begin to fall, they fall into beautiful loose curls. I would probably use the lower heat for everyday curls that create lovely bohemian style waves and the higher heat for more glamour/party curls. I would honestly really recommend these curlers especially for people with long, thick hair like myself. They have three variations and I would love to try the heated rollers next, as heated rollers are my ultimate go to party tool.

I would love to know what you think about these ? - Also don't forget to enter my LUSH giveaway below <3

Lots of love!
[ My reviews of products are always 100% honest and in line with what I would personally expect from a review. My blog and followers are extremely important to me and my reviews will always be completely honest]

❤Chanel Glossimer Limited Edition Holiday 2012 - Allegorie❤

Hi Lovelies!
If you know me or have been reading my blog for a while then you will know I do have a slight obsession with Chanel. I'm a huge fan of their Glossimers and would go as far to say that a Glossimer is my favourite lipgloss out of any brand. I think they are so beautiful looking and their Colour range is just as pretty! - not to forget their fantastic consistency!. So today I thought I would share with you a review of one of my newer Glossimers "Allegorie" which was a 2012 Holiday Limited Edition.

Allegorie is a sheer, shimmering light Pink shade which has a lovely lightweight, non sticky but long lasting finish. If you are a lover of Pink lipsticks then this lipgloss will perfectly accompany many light Pink shades. I tend to use Allegorie mostly with MAC "Creme Cup" as it adds a lovely glossy shimmer to my lips. However, this lipgloss is quite sheer and for £21.00 it might not have enough pay off for some people, but it would really compliment someone with naturally Pink lips.

Allegorie has been my go to gloss since buying it just before Christmas because its so easy to wear and pair with other similar light Pink products. I would love to know what your favourite lipgloss is and what Glossimer you would love to get your hands on ?

Overall, this Chanel Glossimer is a lovely textured light milky Pink, with a hint of White shimmer. I love the way it can be worn over a variety of Pink shades, or on its own to add a light dusting of Pinkness to the lips. I would say it's one of the most versatile Glossimers I own as it goes with my collection of light Pink lipsticks, but it might not offer enough for some people!. Allegorie does have Colour pay off, but it's definitely on the more sheer side and depends on your lip Colour on how it will show up. If you have pigmented lips then this lipgloss will lighten them and if you have naturally Pink lips this will enhance them.

I hope you enjoyed this review lovelies :)

Elemis Rose Petal Cleanser & Ginseng Toner Duo Review

Hi Lovelies!
So I must admit I have got right back onto the skincare bandwagon with Elemis being my latest acquisition!. I have always admired Elemis as a brand as their products are used within the spa  at my leisure resort "The Celtic Manor". I have recently been trying out the Elemis "Revitalize & Replenish Duo" which I have really been loving, so I wanted to share my thoughts and opinions on this cleansing duo. If you didn't already know Elemis is a leading UK luxury spa and skincare brand, which cleverly delivers high quality skincare with natural ingredients combined with cutting edge technology. I haven't had much fun photographing in these funny lighting conditions, so I decided to take the products outside.
"The Re hydrating Rosepetal Cleanser"
The Rehydrating Rosepetal Cleanser effectively removes make-up and the daily build up of skin pollutants  Unique is texture, and combining active extracts of lecithin, Vitamin E and F with Rosepetal flower water to hydrate and purify the skin, restoring a clean and radiant complexion.

My Thoughts - Rosepetal Cleanser
The first thing I noticed when initially using the Rosepetal cleanser was how delicate and smooth the scent was. The light scent of Rose was really pleasant and definitely made using the product very calming. The texture also being extremely smooth made putting the cleanser on a luxurious treat instead of just standard cleansing. After using this product for almost two weeks now I have been very surprised by its ability to be soothing  but also giving me a really fresh faced feel. The main ingredients are also fabulous and deserve a mention. Lecithin, acts as a natural moisturizer/Cell growth ingredient as well as being able to penetrate skin cells to the exact level that is required. Vitamin E & F are also fantastic for the skin as they provide, antioxidants, restoration and nourishment directly to the skin. When Rose is included in a cream or lotion, it stimulates and protects the skin, while moisturizing and hydrating it. It gives a boost to all skin types which is another fantastic advantage of this cleanser. I was also extremely thrilled to see that Elemis do not test on animals and this information is printed on the outer packaging. The only negatives that I could possibly think for this product would be if you can't stand roses and also it's very moisturizing, which might not be suitable for oily skin.
"Rehydrating Ginseng Toner"
The Elemis Toner is a nourishing and revitalizing ginseng, quilaja wood and sweet betty flower extracts that removes the last traces of cleanser. This alcohol-free toner also rebalances the skin's pH level whilst preserving natural oils.

My Thoughts - Ginseng Toner
Before even using this product I knew that Ginseng was a pretty amazing ingredient, so I had high expectations for this toner. I have enjoyed using this toner in combination with the Rosepetal cleanser as I find the smell really lovely and its also very soothing on the skin. This toner also rebalances the skin's pH levels without removing the skins vital oils, which many toners/cleansers can do. I haven't found it irritating in the slightest, but instead have found it very easy to incorporate into my skincare regime. However, I have read very few reviews saying that this toner stings slightly when being sprayed, but the best way to avoid this is by using cotton pads instead of the spray nozzle.

Final Thoughts*
The current price of these Elemis duos is £21.00 even though it should be £41.00, so you are technically getting a full size toner for three, plus there are three variations to choose from. I also think these would make a fabulous gift from a friend, girlfriend or loved one, as its fantastically priced for a luxury English brand. Overall, I have loved using the Elemis duo and haven't had any problems with using it on my skin. However, I would always do your research on skincare, as something that might work on my skin might not work on yours. The Elemis duo I have reviewed is also suitable for skin needing re hydration or for older skin, but there are three options to choose from in this range which I will link below.

I would love to know if you have tried Elemis ? - Or if you have any Elemis products on your wishlist!

Walking In A Winter Wonderland...

Hi Lovelies!
I was totally shocked when I seen that the met office had issued a red warning for snow right by where I live. At first I was quite annoyed because I knew this snow would disrupt my weekend plans, which included seeing my boyfriend and friends. However, all ended up well and Daniel took a great risk and drove 45 minutes to see me in these terrible conditions (good boyfriend haha) - but I still haven't managed to resolve seeing my friends, as I'm way to scared to get in my car and drive haha. I also thought that this post would be good to have more of a general chit chat, which is a nice change.

I'm also currently working on new stock for my business Jewel By India R, as well as working on an exciting new idea which me and my boyfriend  are working on together. I sometimes think I overload myself with things, but I always have to have something exciting in the pipeline!. However, with my Business degree and Ikandi internship I have my work cut out for me, but I enjoy a challenge!.

Now, I know the Snow isn't for everyone! and to be honest I always prefer it before Christmas instead of after. However, I ended up having more fun than what I was expecting and wanted to share some wintery home photo's with you all. I didn't get a chance to do many winter inspired posts before Christmas, so hopefully you will enjoy this post. I also promise that I have some serious Hair, Skin and Beauty posts coming up for you lovelies.
The Lake & Pretty Trees! - I wanted a picture with our geese on the lake, but I think I scared them!
The River also looked amazing!
Me In the Snow :)
Just leaving the house to build a super cute snowman :D
Aww isn't he cute ?

I also had a few sledging pictures, but I think I will pop them on my Instagram "indiarobyn" as they were different sizes. I hope you have enjoyed this picture post and have managed to enjoy the snow, even though I know its love or hate haha!.

700 Follower Giveaway - LUSH Snow Fairy

Hi Beauts!
Well where do I start? - I remember reaching 300 followers and actually being so shocked that 300 people were genuinely interested in my blog. It really was such a great feeling and also a great confidence boost and it made me realise that blogging was something really special. Reaching 300 followers was also my last giveaway which was a Benefit Cosmetics Lipgloss, which seems like a while ago now haha. You might or might not know that I do suffer quite badly with anxiety and blogging has really given me relief and something great to concentrate on when I have needed it most, not to forget the fantastic friends I have made!. The last 8 months of blogging hasn't been easy for me :( as I found out that my blog hadn't been showing up on my followers feeds since I changed my blog URL. I actually got quite depressed over this for a while because I had put so much into posting and most of my followers hadn't been seeing it, unless they had bookmarked my blog or had been clicking on my blog links on my twitter. However, that problem is well and truly solve now! and I can't wait to blog throughout 2013!

Now 700 followers!! I definitely can't believe that now 700 people are interested in my blog haha!!. I am genuinely grinning at my computer screen whilst writing this and it brings me around to the little giveaway which I have prepared just as a little thank-you. Hello Beauties!
I have obviously had my head in a bag or something... because I have only just become obsessed with LUSH!. I feel like the last person in the world to fall in love with at least one of their products, but I think I have only ever used their Bubblegum lip scrub, and maybe the odd bath bomb up until now!. I have ventured into their amazing shops that smell like heaven, but always find them so small and crowded, which usually ends up in me walking out with an empty hand!. However, I have totally fallen in love with Snowfairy, which reminds me I have to send my bestie Sophia  her bottle that I got her. I have managed to acquire quite a stash of LUSH products, but cheekily have used a few (Couldn't resist), so I will show you what I have left :)

Start The New Year With Good Intentions!

Hey Lovelies!
So Christmas is over now... seriously it fly's by these days!, but I suppose that could be down to me getting older haha?!. I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas with your loved ones, and I hope Santa was very nice to you all :). I was going to do a post about what I got for Christmas, but I had quite a lot of money compared to gifts... so I'm still thinking about what I would really like to treat myself too! Cough*Mulberry*Cough. My parents also kindly paid for my ahh mazing trip to Barcelona, as well as getting me and my boyfriend some pretty snazzy Mercedes airport transfers!. I also got some make-up for Christmas, which is going to form part of my Humongous make-up haul post... coming soon!. Finally, I can't forget the most amazing beauty box I had for Christmas off my beautiful bestie Sophia!! - She totally spoilt me with so many lovely goodies, I was like a big kid opening all of the beautifully wrapped pressies!.
Okay, so I wanted to do more of an inspirational post today to kind of mark the New Year. 2012 was a pretty tough year for me and I'm super looking forward to 13!!. My sister gave me this lovely little journal which is filled with positive sayings, as well as thought provoking questions. Its really amazing how just a few words can make you think about your life and put it into perspective. The Journal is all about positive intentions and how to help you see your life and goals more clearly.
You can buy this at amazon for around £7-10 including UK Postage HERE

If I could recommend anything to my followers it would be to get yourself a journal and write down your hopes, goals and feelings. It is such a great way to gain perspective on your life and realize what needs changing and what doesn't!. It's also a relaxing way to wind down just before bed, which is what I love most about it. Also! - try and think or write down 3 positive things from each day, so even if you have had a bad day, you can have a chance to reflect on good points, no matter how big or small they might be!.

My New Years Resolutions

- Have more "ME" time
- Try not to worry as much
- Eat more healthy & drink water
- Use my gym membership

I just wanted to take this time to truly thank all my lovely followers for reading my blog, without you my blog wouldn't even exist  Blogging has give me space away from my stresses. I hope you all have a fabulous New Year, and I will be back to beauty very soon!.

PS - I would love to hear about your New Year Plans!
