Hi Lovelies!
If you know me or have been reading my blog for a while then you will know I do have a slight obsession with Chanel. I'm a huge fan of their Glossimers and would go as far to say that a Glossimer is my favourite lipgloss out of any brand. I think they are so beautiful looking and their Colour range is just as pretty! - not to forget their fantastic consistency!. So today I thought I would share with you a review of one of my newer Glossimers "Allegorie" which was a 2012 Holiday Limited Edition.
Allegorie is a sheer, shimmering light Pink shade which has a lovely lightweight, non sticky but long lasting finish. If you are a lover of Pink lipsticks then this lipgloss will perfectly accompany many light Pink shades. I tend to use Allegorie mostly with MAC "Creme Cup" as it adds a lovely glossy shimmer to my lips. However, this lipgloss is quite sheer and for £21.00 it might not have enough pay off for some people, but it would really compliment someone with naturally Pink lips.
Allegorie has been my go to gloss since buying it just before Christmas because its so easy to wear and pair with other similar light Pink products. I would love to know what your favourite lipgloss is and what Glossimer you would love to get your hands on ?
Verdict
Overall, this Chanel Glossimer is a lovely textured light milky Pink, with a hint of White shimmer. I love the way it can be worn over a variety of Pink shades, or on its own to add a light dusting of Pinkness to the lips. I would say it's one of the most versatile Glossimers I own as it goes with my collection of light Pink lipsticks, but it might not offer enough for some people!. Allegorie does have Colour pay off, but it's definitely on the more sheer side and depends on your lip Colour on how it will show up. If you have pigmented lips then this lipgloss will lighten them and if you have naturally Pink lips this will enhance them.
I hope you enjoyed this review lovelies :)
