Hi Lovelies!
Today, I have a really exciting post for you all as I was very kindly sent this lovely Enrapture Totem Curling Barrel to try out. I have never had much luck with curling barrels due to my long and very thick hair, the only thing that has ever seemed to do the job previously was my Babyliss Heated Rollers. So, as you can imagine I was pretty excited to try out these curlers, especially as they had been used on the latest Bond girl in Sky fall "Berenice Marlohe". Once I received them I was actually like wow! at the packaging and yes I am a total sucker for packaging haha!. The Gold and Blue packaging made the item look really classy and luxurious, and the the magnetic box was also a nice touch. However, despite the lovely outer packaging it was obviously the product itself that counted the most. I have taken some pictures to show you the results of using the barrel and now I will explain in a little more detail about this product, so you can get more of an idea about how it actually works. The totem barrel is a unique curling tool that allows you to set the three zones to different temperatures using the encoder dial, resulting in an array of different curls. The setting that I used was 2-2-2 which is a medium heat/curl.
How lovely is the packaging ? and you also get a style guide and heat proof bag, which is fab!
Haha! Here I am in my big cosy dressing gown & here is my first ever Enrapture Curl!
Here are what the curls on setting 2-2-2 came out like :D

Overall, I'm absolutely thrilled with how my Enrapture curls have turned out. I loved how quick the barrels heated up and the swivel cord was an absolute dream and something I have never had on a previous barrel. The swivel cord allowed me to create the curls a lot quicker and with so much more ease, compared to my previous curling tools. I also love how the barrel has the customization dial to create your perfect curl as well as being able to use it as a wand to create soft everyday waves. The only thing I missed was a little sound to let me know that they had heated up a feature which my GHD's have, but apart from that I have really enjoyed using these curlers. Another really good thing is that the curls stay in my hair really well all day and when they do begin to fall, they fall into beautiful loose curls. I would probably use the lower heat for everyday curls that create lovely bohemian style waves and the higher heat for more glamour/party curls. I would honestly really recommend these curlers especially for people with long, thick hair like myself. They have three variations and I would love to try the heated rollers next, as heated rollers are my ultimate go to party tool.
I would love to know what you think about these ? - Also don't forget to enter my LUSH giveaway below <3
