Estee Lauder Pure Color Lipstick - Pink Voltage❤

Hi Beauties!
Hope you have all had a lovely weekend so far ? I must admit I have had a bit of an up and down week! I'm sure a few of you might already know that I haven't been very well recently. I attended a consultation the other day, and the results wernt quite as good as I was expecting. I haven't fully disclosed what is going on with me at the moment on my social media, but once things have calmed down I am thinking about maybe writing a post to explain, and of course raise awareness. However, on a brighter note I have been given an interview for an amazing job! I'm so excited, and I will keep you updated on my progress with that. Today's post is going to be about a lipstick that I have been loving recently! I actually mentioned it in a previous post, but I wanted to get a full review of this product on my blog for all my lovely readers. I have always admired Estee Lauder as a brand, and have started investing a little more in their skin care and beauty products. On the subject of beauty.. I placed a very cheeky Selfridges and Space NK order today, so I'm really excited to get those goodies in the post so I can do an initial thoughts/haul type of post. I hope you enjoy today's post lovelies, and if you need me for anything just use my social media icons to contact me. I would also love to see your thoughts, links and questions in the comments section down below. I also want to take the chance to apologise for being a little quiet on the blogging front, and I might be for the next week whilst I'm getting a few things sorted in my personal life. However, I just want to thank you all for you support! I don't know where I would be without my little blogging community!
I really like Estee Lauder as a brand and I do have a small collection, but I don’t tend to stop by the EL counter quite as much as say Chanel, Benefit or NARS. However, there were a few bits that I wanted to pick up, which I have posted, about here. I happened to stumble across Pink Voltage whilst waiting for the sales assistant to finish with another customer.. What beauty blogger doesn’t love a good swatch? Haha. When I swatched Pink Voltage I genuinely couldn’t believe how beautiful it was! If you like Pink and you like shimmer/glitter then you honestly need this lipstick in your life. Anyway, I decided to purchase it as I couldn’t leave it behind! I have been wearing it quite a lot, and thought it would be a good idea to tell you what I think about it.

Firstly, the packaging is beautiful! I feel like YSL & Chanel get all the praise (and rightly so) but I do think this particular Estee Lauder packaging is pretty beautiful too. I love the fact you can see the lipstick colour, and its much easier to find it in comparison to searching your collection for a MAC lipstick where you have to turn them all upside down haha. The shade “Pink Voltage” isn’t anywhere as crazy as it sounds haha! When I think of that name I think of a super bright neon. However, the shade is a lovely middle toned Pink with the most beautiful shimmer, its such a gorgeous spring/summer shade. I must admit it’s a tiny bit gritty, but nothing a lip balm can’t sort out! I know that might be a turn off for some people, but it’s not an uncomfortable formula at all. It does have a pretty impressive stay time as well, and it easily lasts 5 hours! Even when it does finally vanish it definitely leaves a lovely Pink stain to the lips.

I also wanted to mention the lovely lip conditioner that the Sales Assistant kindly gave me. I told her about my "dry lips" and she gave me this lip balm to wear under #Pink Voltage to make it more comfortable to wear. I can't actually find it on the website to tell you more, but if you ever stop by the EL counter and purchase a lipstick.. its definitely worth asking if they have any lip conditioner's to go with your purchase :) I use mine every single day, and it makes wearing all my lipsticks so much easier.
 photo 84b82d90-f760-49f4-baad-af31bc8c97e3_zps89c9a93b.jpg
For me it has to be one of my favourite lipstick purchases for a long time! I tend to buy a lot of light pinks and coral’s but this is something different for me. Pink Voltage is totally wearable, but the shimmer does give it a little something extra! I think shimmer scares a lot of people, but the shimmer in this lipstick is perfectly classy, and not at all disco ball Esq haha. The formula is surprisingly creamy, which makes it very comfortable to wear despite the shimmer. If you are looking for a pretty new addition to you Summery lipstick collection, then this lovely little number is worth checking out!

STYLE - Secrets To French Style ❤

Hi Lovelies,
I hope you are all having a fabulous week so far! Today's post is going to be a little different, and something I hope all my lovely readers will enjoy. I have been given an exciting challenge to undertake, which involves showcasing my best style tips through the use of an image, article or video. Now I have never been a trend setter, but I have always kept my style quite understated and plain, using key items to make my outfit look a little more chic...for example adding a handbag or a scarf.  I have always been a fan of French elegance, and have also been very lucky to travel to Paris and Monaco quite a few times. I always find each and every single time I come back I end up searching for key pieces to make me look like the beautiful women that I have come across whilst on my travels. When I think of ultimate style and elegance I always think of the likes of Coco Chanel and Audry Hepburn, as those particular ladies will always ooze simplicit elegance to the entire world. I have found some fantastic features on how to achieve the "Parisian Chic" look, and I will leave all the links and information for you lovelies to check out for yourselves.
Less is always more...
Coco Chanel always believed that before going out you should look in the mirror, and remove one accessory before steeping outside. A simple trench coat, pair of jeans, White shirt or scarf is all you need to be quintessential, effortless and chic.

I also picked out some lovely pieces from the La Redoute website, which you can find in the link below (L-R)

ELLOS Blouse with Floppy Bow and Buttoned Cuffs £25.00

Cotton Twill Trench Coat, £65.00

I hope you have enjoyed this post lovelies, and hopefully it has given you some inspiration for the Spring and Summer. I love hearing from all my lovely readers, so don't forget to leave your thoughts, questions and links in the comments section down below.

URBAN DECAY Launch Event "Electric Palette" ❤

Hi Lovelies!
Hope you are all doing really well ? Today's post is going to be slightly more on the chatty side, as I recently attended a secret event held by the very talented Cardiff Urban Decay girls. I thought it would be a good idea to tell you a little more about the event and what we got up to. It's no secret that sometimes I can be quite shy! I think that's why me and Youtube never really hit it off haha. I have always loved writing, and blogging has just been such an amazing way to let out my creativity and love for beauty and lifestyle. Anyway, when Urban Decay messaged me about a Secret event they were holding I knew it would be a great way to get more involved with the bloggers in my area. I only managed to take a few pictures (not great quality) as the lighting wasn't very good. I hope you enjoy this post lovelies, and I would love to hear from you in the comments section down below. You can also contact me via my Social Media Icons just to the right hand side, if you need to get hold of me a little bit quicker :)
The Event
I arranged to meet up with the lovely Georgina from (Makeup Pixi3) before the event, we have always followed each other..but recently we have been messaging a lot more, and it was lovely to finally meet her. We decided to go for a Costa first ( who doesn't love a Costa haha ) and we both opted for the Mango and Passion Fruit Cooler, which was delicious. We chatted for ages, and it was so nice to get to know each other a little more before attending the event, especially as I was quite nervous about it. We then walked over to Tiger Tiger where the event was being held and sat down with our lovely and very refreshing Virgin Mojito's. The very talented Haddie from the UD Cardiff team showed us how to create the beautiful (and very daring) look in the picture chart above using the NEW Electric pure pigment palette, and it was great seeing the look progress throughout the afternoon. I also got to meet the lovely girls behind CSI beautyblog at the end of the event, so overall it was a lovely afternoon. After the event me and Georgina headed over to Debenhams to spend our gift card and I will be sharing my purchases very soon! - A huge thank you to the super fun and talented girls that made this all happen for us lucky bloggers and beauty lovers!
The Electric Palette
Just WOW. I must admit I was a little scared by this palette at first, but after the girls explained how versatile it was I definitely became more interested in it. The palette is actually a "pure pigment" palette, so it has so much more versatility than your normal eyeshadow palette. The girls from UD taught us how to make the shade into bright lip colours, as well as telling us about how they can also be used as cheek colours! ( and hair colours if you want to take it that little bit further haha ) I didn't end up buying the palette, as I'm not sure if its something I would get loads of use out of. However, when the sun decides to start shining again, and I'm feeling more adventurous I'm sure I will pop it in my online shopping basket haha. You can purchase the Electric Palette for £38.00 at Debenhams, and I would totally recommend it if you love experimenting with colour, plus it could even work out as a new lip colour palette as well by just mixing it with your lip balm or a primer.

Overall, it was such a lovely day and it was great to meet some lovely bloggers, and of course the UD Cardiff girls. I can't wait to get involved in some more events! let me know if you like these kinds of post lovelies, and I would love to hear your thoughts on this stunning palette down below :)

Elemis Radiance Collection - Illuminating ☆

Hi Lovelies!
Hope you are all doing really well ? Pheww! it feels like things have got so crazy the past week. I have been a busy bee with uni work today, but luckily I had a spirt of motivation and managed to get most of my assignment finished. I also have quite an exciting day planned for Friday, as I'm attending a secret launch event. I haven't really been to many events, as I'm quite a shy one! but I'm excited about Friday and getting to meet some lovely S.Wales bloggers woohoo. I'm planning my outfit and make-up already, and will definitely be posting about how it went. Anyway lovelies, Today's post is going to be about a gorgeous gift set that will 100% give you beautiful radiant skin just in time for the Spring and Summer. I'm sure you all know how much I love Elemis and how much I regard them as a brand. I started using Elemis in January 2013, and started working at an Elemis Spa in April 2013. I have loved every moment of working with the brand, and Elemis really do pull out all the stops to ensure that their products are of the highest, and most natural standard possible. I will be talking about the Elemis Illuminating Radiance Collection today, as its a fabulous little gift set that will ensure your skin is kept naturally glowing and hydrated. I hope you enjoy to days post lovelies, and if you ever need me for anything then make sure you contact me either down below, or via my social media icons. I would also love to hear your thoughts on this post, especially if you have tried, or are thinking about trying Elemis!
Elemis Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser 150ml (Full Size)
The Pro Radiance Cream Cleanser is a lovely anti-ageing cream facial cleanser. I love using this when my skin needs a radiance and moisture boost, as it uses plant extracts, skin-protecting Moringa Seed Peptide and Great Burdock to balance, protect and brighten the skin. It has a very light fragrance of Sweet Brazilian Orange, Ylang Ylang and Patchouli which makes it a lovely product if your you like a light scent, but don't like anything too overpowering. It offers a luxurious but practical cleansing experience, and will leave your skin feeling completely calm and well cared for.

Elemis Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm 15ml
Described as being a "hybrd moisturiser" The Elemis Pro Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm is not only designed to flatter the complexion, but also to hydrate and protect your skin. The balm is formulated with an impressive vitamin complex that help to protect against moisture loss and anti ageing. I love using this product, and find that it works really well as a primer too! it doesn't ball under your finger tips or separate your foundation at all. I think that its most impressive feature is the way it illuminates the complexion without making the skin look like its sparkling. It does have quite a strong scent (which I find relaxing and very spa like) but for some people it might be a little strong if you happen to be sensitive to various scents.

Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner 200ml (Full Size)
This beautiful toner needs very little introduction for me, as I feel like I spend half my time praising this product. I'm on my fourth bottle now, and I already have two backed up for when I run out haha! I would definitely say this is one of my real HG products of all time... I can't ever see myself being without one (Its love). The Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner uses extract of fragrant Apricot to soothe, harmonise and refresh the skin. It's alcohol free, and I would definitely say its suitable for very sensitive skin, as well as all other skin types really. If you are looking to buy your first toner, or perhaps just fancy a change then I would definitely recommend giving this lovely product a try.
 photo 92170a6b-e570-4bc8-9777-c3fcdb8bdf8e_zps0cc3a645.jpg
I have always been a huge fan of gift sets, as I think they are a great way to try a brand and make a saving at the same time. If you purchase this set you would be saving around 41% (depending on what collection you choose) as the products in today's post retail at £61.00 so I think that £35.00 is an amazing price for this lovely collection. I also think this set would be great for someone who doesn't have all the time in the world to use serums and additional treatments, as this set provides you will all the core basics that your skin needs to be clean and healthy. This isn't the only option, as Elemis also do this set with different products to suit your exact skin type. I hope you have enjoyed this post my lovelies, and I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section down below :)

Estee Lauder Mini Haul❤

Hi Lovelies!
Hope you are all doing really well and are having a good weekend so far? Despite going through a lot with my health at the moment I was super pleased that I got a distinction on a recent uni assignment, so that has really picked up my mood. I also wanted to say a huge thank you to all my lovely blogger friends, who have sent me lovely supportive tweets and messages. I am going to pick up a cheeky Chinese tonight, as a little weekend treat to myself and my boyfriend. We both have a pretty busy week ahead, so I'm looking forward to chilling out tonight and having a good old munch. I have been meaning to write about my little Estee Lauder splurge for a little while now, and after trying the products out for a little while I thought it was about time I did an "initial thoughts" kind of post for you lovelies. If you want any in-depth reviews on any of the products in this post, then just leave a comment down below and I will make sure I get one written up for you lovelies. I went shopping with my boyfriend like two weeks ago now I think, and ended up picking up some beauty goodies. I did tweet about making an online order, but for once I decided to be good and go to the counter before buying. I always recommend checking products out in person, but as I live 45 minutes from my nearest Debenhams/John Lewis I have become really good at make up shopping on line, especially with picking the right shades! Don't be naughty like me though haha, as its always best to go to the counter, as some products you might realise are not right for you... and you can save a whole lot of money by doing so. Anyway, my lovelies! I hope you enjoy today's post and don't forget to leave your thoughts, links and questions in the comments section down below. You can also contact me via my Social Media Icons just to the right hand side, as I am always here if you need a little chat or some help and advice :)

I have never been able to make my mind up with Primer's as I go in and out of stages of thinking they are a "must have" then sometimes I can get a little lazy and just fall out of habit of using one, and then sometimes I just feel like I don't need one to make my makeup stay around (I sound confused haha) However, after falling in love with the Clarins Smooth Touch Self Tanning Primer I decided I wanted to look out for a new primer that was a tad more on the brightening side. I haven't been feeling too good lately, and I feel as if my skin has gone a little bit dull due to feeling un well and being stressed. So! after doing a bit of research I picked up the Estee Lauder Illuminating Perfecting Primer. Firstly, I must say this primer does do a very good job of adding a glow underneath your foundation, and after observing I have found it definitely helps to keep my make up even throughout the day. However, I can't fully comment on if it keeps my make up on longer, as I only tend to keep my make-up on for 6-8 hours which most foundations are supposed to last anyway. The main reason I brought this was to smooth over any unevenness and pores, as well as brightening up my complexion and as far as those reasons go I would say that the EL Illuminating Primer has done a good job so far!

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair II
Is it just me or do Estee Lauder products have really long names haha ? I have used Estee Lauder ANR ll before, and I'm actually going to get a big bottle for my birthday! I have been trying to buy a big size for ages, but every time I shop at Estee Lauder I always seem to get one of these deluxe samples that last me so long! so I never really see the point in buying a big one haha! but my boyfriend is going to treat me for my birthday, so that I won't run out of this magic stuff :) Anyway, this is just a miracle in a bottle! every time I use it I wake up with "happy" looking skin the only other product which gives me the same kind of feeling is the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask! The ANR ll is used under your moisturiser, and it sinks in within seconds. I feel like this is the product that really gives me the best results in terms of waking up to see an even, smooth and brighter looking face.

Estee Lauder Lip Conditioner
I was super pleased when the Sales Assistant gave me this amazing Estee Lauder Lip Conditioner to try! I told her I wanted to purchase the lipstick (I got in the picture) but was worried because I thought it would apply uneven on my dry/chapped lips due to its hint of sparkle. She was very kind and gave me this product to apply under the lipstick and it works a treat!

Pure Color Vivid Shine Lipstick #Pink Voltage
I just happened to be swatching some lipsticks whilst waiting for the Sales Assistant to finish with another customer when I came across Pink Voltage a beautiful summery pink with a beautiful sparkle! I just had to buy it, and I'm so glad I did. I must admit it is a tiny and i mean tiny bit gritty, but seriously it just looks so beautiful swatched and on the lips that I was prepared to put up with a bit of grit. I think as long as you have a good lip conditioner under this product you will be fine. I must admit I'm also very tempted to pick up some of the other shades, as they are soo beautiful to look at, and of course to wear.

Estee Lauder Double Wear All Day Glow BB
This was definitely the product I was most excited about purchasing, as I had high expectations for this product. I have tried so many BB's from high end to high street, and they haven't offered anything that special at all. When I heard the famous words "Double Wear" combined with BB I instantly hoped that Estee Lauder had created the BB all us beauty lovers have been dreaming of. I think with a BB cream you fully expect the "light coverage" part, but I have found many BB's go very patchy after a short amount of time, and then totally disappear! - Anyway, the first thing I noticed when initially trying this product was how thick it was! (but it does spread out nicely) saying that I have never tried anything from the Double wear range.. so I suppose that was to be expected. I am really liking it so far and I would definitely say its the right product to try if you are still eager to find the perfect BB! it seems to offer a lot more than the others I tried, and of course you get the added skin care benefit, light to medium coverage a dewy finish and even some SPF15 chucked in for good measure. I was matched to shade 2 and even though it looks quite dark, it blends out to be a lot more natural looking. I think Shade 2 will be suitable for most light/medium skin tones. I have worn this to work a few times and so far so good, but I will definitely be putting up a full review of this product in the next two weeks when I have formed more of an opinion.
I'm super happy with the products I purchased from Estee Lauder, and I will definitely be back with more in-depth reviews on each product. I haven't had much chance to give these little beauties a test drive as I haven't been feeling too well, but I'm pretty excited about using them more over the next few weeks. I hope you have enjoyed today's post lovelies, and I would love to hear your thoughts about the products mentioned in todays post :)

PS - A huge welcome if you are visiting from tonight's #bbloggers chat!

NEOM "Cocooning" Home Candle #NeomStressLessChallenge❤

Hi Lovelies!
I hope everything is really good with you all ? I'm sure you might have seen if you follow me via Twitter that I really haven't been myself recently. I haven't been feeling very well since Christmas time, but finally I am in the process of getting things moving to try and work out what's wrong. I have been referred my by doctor for a scan, so I'm hoping for the best. I just wanted to say thank you to all my lovely readers/followers who have been tweeting me and messaging me the kindest messages! you definitely know how to perk a girl up ;) Anyway! I was contacted by the fabulous NEOM team about taking part in their #NeomStressLessChallenge and at this particular time it sounded like the perfect challenge. I have done a few NEOM related posts now, but hand on heart I can honestly say that NEOM are one of the most genuine brands I have ever come across. Everything about them is five star, from the luxury products to the bespoke customer service. I decided to get a little creative today and take my photography outside. Growing up in the countryside has taught me to really appreciate all things natural, and of course NEOM are a beautiful and very natural brand. I hope you enjoy today's post lovelies, and if there is anything I can help you with then don't hesitate to contact me via my social media icons. You are also more thank welcome to leave your thoughts and links in the comments section down below, as there is nothing more I love than hearing from my loyal readers!

Stress (noun)
A state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or demanding circumstances

Cocoon (verb)
Envelop in a protective or comforting way

Stress is becoming an undeniable factor in modern day living, we are fitting more and more into our busy days and feeling the pressure. This April, NEOM is encouraging stressed-out individuals to take the ‘#NeomStressLessChallenge’, a programme designed to balance the emotions and soothe the soul. The challenge involves lighting all three wicks for around 2 hours to see if the calming properties really do work, it is also to be repeated throughout stressful periods.

About NEOM
NEOM Luxury Organics candles are made using only vegetable wax and pure essential oils rather than synthetic fragrances so they burn without releasing harmful pollutants, toxins or soot. They work as powerful holistic treatments as you breathe in the scented air so it is best to burn them for between 2-4 hours at a time.

NEOM "Cocooning"  Home Candle Review
Nothing soothes my soul quite like a NEOM candle or bath product, so the thought of putting "Cocooning" to the test was quite exciting. The candle includes a luxurious blend of six key oils including, anxiety-reducing Roman chamomile, deeply relaxing jasmine and three citrus essential oils, mandarin, lemon and orange to combat blue feelings and even to boost moral. Like all other NEOM Candles the candle is housed in a simple but luxurious glass holder, which makes it very appealing to put anywhere around the house. The candle features three wicks which I personally love, and it looks so gorgeous burning on the side of my vanity. The main thing I notice about the scent is  that it's very light and fruity, it definitely has comforting properties that don't weigh you down with deeper notes (check me out talking about fragrance notes haha). I find this candle just as uplifting as I do calming which is really nice, as it leaves me feeling comforted but happy at the same time.  It also reminds me of when you feel really happy and cosy in bed, and just don't want to move (I'm sure a lot of my readers know this feeling). I think this candle would be suited to both day and night use, due to its mixture of calming and uplifting properties. The candle has an impressive burn time of 50 hours, so I'm looking forward to continuing to burn this beautiful candle over the next few weeks.

Cocooning is definitely a new favourite of mine, especially as I'm going through quite a stressful period at the moment with my health. I have also read that this is a fantastic option for pregnant ladies due to its comforting, but inspiring properties. I have really enjoyed getting involved in the #NeomStressLessChallenge and have found that lighting this candle for 2 hours during stressful periods has really helped me relax. If your in need of a little TLC then you can buy the Cocooning Candle from the NEOM website for £39.50 - I hope you have enjoyed this post lovelies, and if you have tried or would like to try NEOM then I would love to hear from you down below.

Laurens Way Lashes & GIVEAWAY! ❤

Hi Lovelies!
Hope you are all doing really well?  I have had my blood tests done today, after feeling unwell and not my usual self. I finally decided to go to the doctors and do something about it last week, so I'm hoping that they can figure out if anything is wrong. The nurse told me my blood pressure is tracking significantly lower than it should be, so now I just have to wait for my test results on Friday. Anyway lovelies! enough of my doom and gloom haha, as I have a pretty exciting post for you tonight. I have previously worked with the ever so lovely Laurens Way Team, and when they offered me this amazing opportunity I jumped at it! especially as one of my lovely readers could be in with the chance of winning this amazing beauty filled hamper. The hamper is filled with everything you need to look fabulous even before Summer has arrived. I recently reviewed the gorgeous New LW Darker than Dark Glam Tan, which is ahh mazing and also included within the hamper. To enter its really simple and all you need to do is follow the Raffle copter instructions below. I hope you enjoy this post lovelies, and as always don't hesitate to contact me via my Social Media Icons, or via my comments box down below. photo DSC01283_zps41202f0b.jpgInitial Thoughts Review
After being so impressed with the Laurens Way Darker Than Dark Glam Tan (review here) I was so excited to get involved with this great opportunity. The lovely LW Team sent me two sets of Lauren's Lashes "Midnight Diva" and "Daytime Dazzle" before I talk about them a little more I just wanted to let you lovelies know that I haven't tried them yet, as I'm not feeling my best, and would much rather show you them when I'm wearing them for a special occasion. The Daytime Dazzle lashes look absolutely beautiful, and will definitely create a fun, flirty and fluttery effect to your natural lashes. I also think they look quite natural, and can see them blending in and not looking "fake" for the daytime. I can  definitely imagine wearing these to a special lunch or perhaps a cheeky shopping trip to London (which I have planned soon yay) Moving onto the Midnight Diva lashes, I think these definitely look more striking and suited to an evening event. However, they are still sophisticated and I think will give the eye a more "sexy" kind of look, which is perfect for partying! The lashes come in a very sturdy plastic case, which I would definitely consider keeping to store future lashes. The price of the lashes is £6.95 which is a little bit more expensive than eyelure lashes. I haven't personally tried them yet, but I have seen loads of fantastic reviews saying that they are the most comfortable and natural looking lashes that they have tried, so I'm excited to put them on for you lovelies soon.
