Hope you are all doing really well? Today was my Monday off work, as when I work a Saturday I tend to get the following Monday off which always feels like a nice treat. With Barcelona just around the corner I thought it was about time I treated myself to a fancy hair cut at Rhys Giles who is an award winning hair stylist and salon based in Cwmbran and also at the Celtic Manor Resort. I always make sure I book in with my absolute fave Nathan who always looks after me and has been my friend for quite a while now. It's great to have a catch up now and then and just let it all out haha! I'm always so busy around the hotel, so for once it was nice to come into work and have a nice chilled morning. Not only did I have my hair cut.. I also had a luxurious caviar based treatment applied to my hair and of course I did a little shopping! I do feel that sometimes I spend so much time and money on skincare and make-up that I totally forget my hair needs a bit of love too! so I stocked up on some must have products, which I will tell you more about below. I hope you enjoy this post lovelies and I would love to hear from you in the comments section down below. You can also contact me via my Social Media icons just to the right hand side if you would like a quicker response :)
I have used Kerastase for a few years now on and off, but my hair is always 100% happier and healthier when using Kerastase. I haven't tried this shampoo before, but have seen it in lots of magazines including Vogue. My hair is long, thick and quite wavy which means on the occasion it likes to poof out, so the Bain Fluidealiste Discipline (Sulfate Free) Shampoo (£17) sounds like a pretty good place to start with my haircare this Winter! The high precision morpho-sheathing polymer and surface perfector provide beautifully shiny, smooth and even hair from roots to ends... so I'm pretty excited to give this a good go and get back to you with a full review, plus I need to brush up on my morphop-sheathing knowledge before I post the review... as I have no idea what this means haha!
I have also been searching for a new hair brush for quite a while to help keep my tangles at bay. When Nathan recommended my manager who also has long hair the same brush a few weeks back I knew that I wanted to order one in for myself. After trying the brush my hair felt so soft and it seemed to effortlessly get rid of tangles without hurting me in the slightest woohoo! I'm sure I'm not the only one who has come up against painful tangles! The Acca kappa brush (£30) which "Great Lengths" retail are world renowned for both male and female hair extensions and you can see here they have some pretty impressive clientele going on! The brush itself is made in Rome, Italy and totally feels and looks like a princess brush! so I can't wait to use this some more so that I can write up a much needed haircare post for my lovely readers, as it seems like I haven't done one in absolutely ages!
I couldn't forget to add in a few shameless selfie's with Nathan who is an absolute star. If any of you happen to be in Wales and need your hair done then definitely check out Rhys Giles at the Celtic Manor where Nathan works, as he does the most amazing job! I felt so happy and chirpy after getting my hair done, which is a pretty nice way to feel on a cold November morning.
I hope you have enjoyed this post lovelies and I would love to hear from you and know if any of you have tried Kerastase or Great Lengths?
Lots of Love
