Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Haul❤

Charlotte Tilbury is by far one of the most talented make-up artist's to grace to beauty world and the other night I had myself wondering why I hadn't purchased any of her products! Between one thing and another I have been in a total whirlwind and haven't had much time to spend browsing for new make-up, so I decided to bite the bullet and treat myself to some of Charlotte's most coveted beauty products. Okay.. so maybe I did go a little wild on my first purchase, but hey it was a case of all or nothing haha. I purchased the "Uptown Girl Gift Set" & some individual bits, which I will list down below. I hope you enjoy this show and tell style post and of course I would love to hear your thoughts on my haul! Are there any products you are lusting for from Charlotte Tilbury at the moment? You can also get in contact via my social media icons to the right hand side of my blog :)
Who else starts humming "Uptown Girl.. She's been living in her uptown world.." when looking at this Gift Set? ah the good old day's. I really wanted to delve right into the world of Charlotte Tilbury and I love the way she has created so many fantastic gift sets.. it's safe to say I found it pretty hard to choose out of all the gorgeous and truly iconic looks created by Charlotte. I decided upon the Uptown  Girl look, as I felt it was closest to the make-up i like to wear on a day to day basis, especially when spending so much money at one time! As much as I love dramatic and vampy looks on other girls, they're just not for me. The mixture of gentle pinks and peaches totally had me sold and it was "Uptown Girl" that won my heart and ended up in my shopping cart. I thought that might have been enough shopping that evening, but no no! I went slightly crazy and decided to well and truly purchase a whole new make-up collection. I also ended up adding the Wonder Glow Primer, Light Wonder and the coveted Film Star Bronze & Glow duo to my shopping cart! I decided to be a good beauty blogger and take all my picture's before trying the products, which was very hard.. as I had to leave them looking all pretty and wrapped up for a few day's. However, I'm really sorry I forgot to photograph the Lip Lustre, but I'm sure it will feature soon on the blog when I start to review some products from my haul.

I'm completely over the moon with my haul and after having a day or so to start trying the products, I'm already in love! I'm especially enjoying the Wonder Glow Primer and will be sure to start adding a few product reviews to my blog soon. Is there any review you would like to see in particular, if so just let me know in the comments section down below :) - Hope you have enjoyed!

The Glam Guide Initial Thoughts Review ❤

Hi Lovelies!
Hope you are all doing well? I must admit I have been pretty unwell the past few day's and have some in-depth blood tests tomorrow morning. I was so excited to get Fleur De Force's first ever book "The Glam Guide" and wanted to write a chatty post about my thoughts so far. I also thought it might be quite helpful for you lovelies, especially if your considering pucrhasing The Glam Guide. I would love to hear your thoughts on today's post.. so don't forget to leave your comments down below. You can also get in contact with me via my Social Media icons just to the right hand-side of my blog!
I have been a Fleur De Force fan for the past three years and I honestly was so excited when she announced her first ever book "The Glam Guide". Firstly, I have to mention that this is literally one of the most gorgeous looking books ever and it also continues with beautiful illustrations all the way through the book! I'm a total sucker for pastels, stars and all things beauty and fashion related. The Glam Guide also feels really good quality and it's the kind of book I would use as a decorative piece, as it's just so pretty to look at.

I have followed Fleur for so long now (probably 3 years+) that she almost feels like a friend every time one of her video's pop up on my timeline! She is one of the first Youtuber's that I ever came across along with Elle & Blair and she has definitely inspired me over the years. I love how down to earth she is and you can just tell that she is so genuine and lovely. When I heard Fleur was releasing a book I knew it was going to be love, so when Daniel brought me home a copy I couldn't wait to get stuck in. I had always planned on buying it, but the past few days I have been pretty unwell - so it was a welcomed treat!

Fleur has been making YouTube videos since 2009 out of a genuine passion for all things beauty and fashion related and The Glam Guide contains all of her secrets, discoveries and much more. The thing I love about The Glam Guide the most is the fact it's not just a book you will read and put to the side, as it genuinely contains so many fantastic tips and tricks that it will make you want to reach for it on more than one occasion. For example I know that when I'm in need of a quick hairstyle or healthy smoothie recipe I will be able to pick up my Glam Guide and know I will be able to re-create Fleur's fabulous advice. At the end of each section there is a "10 Quick Tips" section, which is a lovely touch and features some really inspiring advice. I also love the way that Fleur encourages her reader's to be themselves and not feel like they have to do  conform to the way's of the beauty/fashion world. I think because the beauty, blogging and YouTube world has got so big it can sometimes be quite overwhelming, so it's great that Fleur supports her reader's individuality, which comes through when reading The Glam Guide.

The Glam Guide embraces a chic and fulfilling lifestyle and touches on a wide range of subjects including, makeup, fashion, hair, health, fitness, body image, relationships and blogging/Youtube advice. As a beauty blogger myself I am so pleased to finally have a book that I can go back to when I need a little help and advice. There is so much information on the Internet that sometimes it's nice to have a hard copy to reference! So for me The Glam Guide is 100% worth the purchase, as I know it will always be a book I go back to.

I'm planning on doing a series of posts inspired by the topic's within "The Glam Guide" So keep an eye out if you would like to see more!

Congratulations Fleur The Glam Guide is fantastic and definitely something to be proud of!

My Top Nude Lipsticks ❤

Hi Lovelies!
Hope you are all doing really well and that your enjoying a nice chilled out Sunday? After working a long and tiring six day week I'm making the most of my Sunday and of course catching up on some blogging. Sunday is fast becoming one of my favourite day's! What about you lovelies? Do you enjoy  Sunday's too? Luckily, I have tomorrow off as well, but I have a few errands to run around town.. so I'm getting my R&R today. It's no secret that I'm a huge lipstick gal and probably collect lipsticks more than any other beauty product! I tend to wear quite a lot of nude lipsticks, as they are just great for work and are also pretty easy to maintain throughout the day in comparison to more bold shades. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section down below and you can also contact me via my social media icons to the right hand side, if you would like a more direct response.
I have to get it out there I absolutely love it when beauty brands get creative with their product names. Honolulu Honey is probably one of my favourites, as Honolulu reminds me of my family vacations to Hawaii and Honey is the name of my gorgeous little niece! Honolulu Honey is quite a deep peachy nude, which I would say suits more yellow undertones. I always find this lipstick suits me a lot better with a slight tan, so I always opt for this nude when I have a little more colour going on. I would actually say it's quite similar to MAC's Shy Girl.. but Shy Girl is more wearable due to it's mixture of pink/peach tones. The thing I love most about this lipstick is how great it's coverage and colour payoff is! It's quite moisturising for a matte lipstick too, which makes it a great all rounder. I believe NARS have had a change up in this formula, so I'm looking forward to trying the new formulation too!

I recently purchased this Revlon Matte Balm in a random Boots splurge.. who else has those? I go in for nothing and seem to come out with everything? haha. This shade is quite similar to Honolulu Honey, as it's more on the Peachy brown side of nude. It looks quite dark in the tube and looks far prettier on the lips than it does when you pick it up in the shop. I think Revlon make amazing lip products and are definitely my go to drugstore brand! their colour burst balms are super easy to apply and considering complex is from the matte collection it's not as patchy/drying as I thought. However, I do prefer to at least try and add a bit of balm before applying. It has a light minty fragrance, which actually makes it quite refreshing to apply to your lips. I think this could be a great dupe for more expensive lip products, especially if your looking for a darker nude like the ones that Kylie Jenner is famous for!

I remember when I first seen this lipstick I was just obsessed with how it looked in the tube! Estee Lauder make such gorgeous looking lipsticks.. that I find it quite hard to say no to any of them. I'm not sure about you but I love being able to see the shade of the lipstick too! Barley There is the lightest nude out of today's post and has a creamy texture with moderate shimmer. When my lips are in good condition this lipstick is absolutely beautiful and it's glossy shimmer really makes my lips stand out. However, beware of this lipstick if you have chapped lips as it pretty much shows them up! Whenever I'm having a good lip day, this is the nude I opt for. It lasts around three hours, so not as long as the previous two which definitely last 4 hours+.

There is honestly no lipstick like the Chanel Rouge Coco Shines for me.. they have everything I need in a lipstick! They're moisturising, easy to apply and have good colour payoff too. My good friend Sophia recently informed me that they are discontinuing this lipstick in the future, but will be bringing out a new formulation.. so I'm hoping and praying that they are as good as the current line. Secret is the most pink out of the nudes in this post and would definitely suit more skin tones. I don't even need a mirror for this lipstick and it's so creamy I even use it as a blush too! It's definitely my go to lipstick when I fancy a no fuss nude.

You might be thinking they look pretty similar, but there are definitely differences in how they look on the lips. I would say that Nars Honolulu Honey and Revlon Complex would suit skin types with warmer undertones. The Estee Lauder Pure Color in Brilliant Bare is a gorgeous light peachy nude, which would look nice on a lot of skin tones (as long as your lips are in good condition) and Chanel's Rouge Coco Shine in Secret is definitely the most versatile shade out of them all. I'm sure your all aware of the sensation Kylie Jenner has caused with her super pout and I would say that the Nars and Revlon lip products are a great way to re-create her look. I would also recommend looking for a matte nude if your looking for a longer lasting and lower maintenance nude lipstick. Don't forget to look for nudes with a pinkish undertone if your a lighter toned gal!
I hope you have enjoyed this post lovelies and I would love to hear your thoughts and don't forget to share your favourite nudes with me below! Also don't forget to let me know if you would like to see a full review on any of these lipsticks!

NARS Virtual Domination Palette Review ❤

Hi Lovelies!
Hope you are all doing well? It's been a pretty hectic week for me so far. I had a lovely four days off last week, so I have been slightly drowning in e-mails this week! Does anyone else feel like e-mails can take over their life? haha. Anyway, I thought today I would do post on a really hyped up product in the blogosphere at the moment. I'm sure a lot of you beauty lovers have heard about and may even own the NARS Virtual Domination Palette. When I first laid eyes on it on Space NK I was instantly sold, but stupidly didn't end up making the purchase! I totally regretted in the next day when I found out it was completely out of stock. I then tweeted Space NK pleading for them to get it back in stock, which luckily they did! I was really impressed they personally got back to me to say it was available again, as I'm sure many people were trying to find out about how they could get their hands on the Virtual Domination Palette... I mean just look at it... It's a beauty! I would definitely do one of those smiley face emoji's with hearts as eyes if I could right now. I thought I would do a little summary styled post, as there have been so many reviews on this product.. plus it's nice to write a little bit more of a chatty post every now and then. I hope you enjoy this post lovelies and I would love to hear from you in the comments section down below. Don't forget you can contact me via my social media icons, if you would like a quicker response :)
NARS Virtual Domination £45 (Limited Edition)
When this little beauty was released just before Christmas I instantly knew it was going to be an impulse purchase. NARS palettes are just amazing anyway, but this one honestly looked something special, even on the Internet. Firstly, how pretty is the packaging?! I'm a sucker for anything White, so this packaging really stood out to me. I don't think I have put VD down since purchasing it and it's a great palette to travel around with, especially as I'm always back and forth places. As much as I would like to carry my entire make-up collection around with me.. it's just not realistic and I think that's where palettes like this really come into their own. The palette consists of five beautiful shades, which are perfect for bronzing, highlighting and adding a touch of colour to your cheeks.

Miss Liberty: This is the "Highlighter" shade in the Nars VD palette and has quite a warm undertone to it. This is quite a sparkly highlighter and one I have come to use with a little caution as the shimmer can be a little more on the obvious side. I actually really like dusting this over my eyelids, as it gives them a brighter appearance. It does take quite a while to build up this particular shade, but it's very pretty once on the skin.

Deepthroat: This is probably in my top 3 favourite blush shades of all time.. It might even be my favourite, but it does contend with the likes of Dior's Rosy Glow & Benefit's Coralista. The Deepthroat is this palette is pretty pigmented and gives a gorgeous mid toned pink flush to the cheeks, which is so natural looking but equally beautiful. This is definitely my most reached for shade out of the palette!

Laguna: Laguna is honestly one of the best bronzer's I have ever tried! It's medium-dark but warm tone really makes it queen bee in terms of bronzing product. I have found that the Laguna in VD isn't as pigmented in my opinion and takes a little more work to get it to appear the same. However, it's super handy to have in the VD palette and I pretty much use it everyday.

Sex Fantasy: Ohh Nars and their cheeky names! Sex Fantasy is a pale matte lavender pink shade, which is extremely cool-toned. This is the shade I have used least, especially now we're slowly heading out of Winter. I always tend to keep my cool pinks for the Winter, when I feel like they suit my skin tone a little better. I have used it a few times though and it does look really pretty with a subtle grey/smokey eye.

Final Cut: Final cut is definitely a shade I'm quite excited about using more in the spring/summer. It's described as a medium coral-orange with warm undertones. It has quite a matte finish, but I think this would look so striking with a tan! It also has great colour payoff.

Virtual Domination is a gorgeous palette, which is very much loved amongst beauty lovers! I literally haven't put it down and it has been super handy, especially as I'm always out and about. The only one thing I would say is that I was slightly disappointed with some of the colour payoff, as Laguna, Miss Liberty & Sex Fantasy need a little work to get them up to standard NARS coverage in my opinion. However, NARS didn't disappoint on this occasion! Who wouldn't want a beautiful looking palette with a great mirror and five gorgeous and completely versatile shades!

I hope you have enjoyed this post lovelies and I would love to hear your thoughts in the comment section down below!

Elle Magazine - Exclusive Benefit Roller Lash Review ❤

Hi Lovelies!
Hope you are all doing really well? I'm sorry I didn't do my mid-week post this week, but the week totally whisked me away and before I knew it I was getting ready for mine and Daniel's night away. We both really enjoyed getting away and enjoyed lovely food and even a few cheeky spa treatments (for me) I have been a really good blogger and have been taking heaps of pictures to make sure that I always have content at the ready for my blog. I'm still using my Plum Paper planner too and it's really helping me plan, especially with my blog. I have also been making a conscious effort to improve my blog photo's.. I don't think they have ever been bad, but I always lust after light/bright pictures... like my good friend Sophia's! I have also been enjoying a pretty chilled out Sunday and guess what?! I managed to get my White jeans on woohoo! I always feel so much more upbeat when I'm wearing White jeans, so I have been full of spirit today. Anyway, before I begin to ramble and tell you each detail of my day haha I will get right into today's review which is going to be a cheeky review of Benefit's Roller Lash Mascara! Thank god for Elle. If you would like to get in contact lovelies then you are more than welcome to use my Social Media icons to the right hand side of my blog and of course I would love to hear your thoughts on this post in the comments section below. Hope you enjoy :)

Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash £19.50 ( Expected Release: 01/03/2015 )
For me there have only ever been two mascara's for me and that would be the Chanel Intimitable Mascara and Benefit's They're Real. I have got through tubes and tubes of both, but I think it's safe to say that They're Real has been one of the best mascara releases in a very long time. It's always interesting to see if a brand can outdo itself and keep putting out truly amazing products.. so as you can imagine I made sure that I headed straight out to pick up a sneak peek of this little beauty in the March edition of Elle Magazine.

So a little behind this new lash treat that Benefit are gracing us with shortly! To sum this mascara up in one "it's a roller for lashes" and with it's eye-opening Hook 'n' Roll designed brush it grabs, seperates, lifts and curls... whilst the instand curve-setting formula works it magic to ensure that its all set for 12 hours (Impressive Right?) Over 87% of everyone who tested this mascara said that it really did everything that it said on the box and again I think that's pretty impressive, especially for a new release product. Roller Lash also contains Provitamin B5 and Serin, which are both known for their lash-conditioning benefits. Roller lash is also Water-resistant, comes in ink black and has a satiny finish!

After using this for a few days I was totally wowed by how awake it made my eyes look and it honestly had the most instant and impressive eye-awakening effect I have ever known! You will be able to see in the image below that it really did give my lashes an extra oomph in comparison to the Chanel mascara I was wearing on the other eye. I apologise for the meh Iphone image, but I thought it was better than nothing until I get my tripod :) I must admit I'm totally excited by Roller Lash and each day I can't wait to apply it and see how much happier my eyes appear! I sometimes feel like my lashes can be a little meh and I haven't got the largest eye lids.. So I struggle to rock really impressive eye looks. However, Roller Lash has really made me fall in love with my lashes which is fab! You know what they say... They eye's are the window's to the soul and all that ;) It definitely acts as a curling product as well, which is great as I have never been a fan of curling my lashes. Roller Lash features "wand wiper" technology to ensure that not too much mascara is on on the wand at any one time, which also helps to make this mascara clump free! I have also noticed that it is super duper long lasting and doesn't have an ounce of fallout like I have experienced with BadGal Lash & slightly with They're Real after wearing it for a long time.
[Left - Chanel Mascara Right - Benefit Roller Lash]

I'm honestly SO SO impressed with this mascara! It's like a dream... I mean It's just fabulous like everything else Benefit does. I think as a brand Benefit are definitely taking it up a gear and everything I have tried in the past six months has just been amazing. I think Roller Lash might even replace "They're Real" - However, I'm going to purchase a full size Roller Lash and full size They're Real.. so that I can hopefully do a really cool comparison post for you lovelies. I actually think they would both work well together, as Roller Lash is great for curling and They're Real is amazing for lengthening and separating your lashes. Could this be a Benefit Dream Team?

I would love to hear your thoughts lovelies! Don't forget you can get this little beauty for yourself in Elle Magazine. Find out more here

Sunday Series: Low Key Beauty ❤

Hi lovelies!
I hope your all enjoying your Sunday! I've been trying to make the most of today, as its my only day off this weekend. However, I'm being whisked away on a luxury overnight stay this Thursday.. so I shouldn't complain. I have to admit I love a Sunday and over the past few months I have started a Sunday routine, which I really enjoy! In the morning I tend to have a cup of tea and get some blogging done, as well as snapping a few blog pics for the week ahead. Me and Daniel then get ready to visit my sister and her family, which is always fun! I especially love spending a few hours with my little angel Honey. After we leave my sister's house me and Daniel pop to our local town for a Costa Coffee or a light lunch at our local garden centre depending on how we're both feeling. So, I thought why not get a bit of a Sunday series going and today I wanted to post about a few of the beauty products I like to use for a more "low key look". I'm actually in the process of buying some bloggy equipment, so that I can do more portrait imagery, looks and a few OOTD's too! On a Sunday I still like to wear a little bit of make-up, especially when going to town.. but its a completely "barley there" look, which is just enough to make me feel like I don't look super tired. I hope you enjoy this more chilled out Sunday post and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below. If your stopping by from #bbloggers then a huge hello and welcome to my blog :) You can also use my social media icons to the right hand side if you would like to get in contact with me a little quicker!
Estee Lauder DayWear Tinted Moisturiser
Now I don't want to give to much away here, as I have a full review coming on this little beauty soon. However, I have been completely in love with this product since purchasing it. I love the way it adds a subtle warmth to my face! It doesn't really have any coverage, but somehow it manages to transform my complexion and make me look and feel a lot more refreshed!

Benefit PUFF OFF
You might have seen my recent review of this product (below) but I'm seriously loving it right now. It's kind of a mix between a skincare/makeup product, which is great as I get the best of both worlds, plus it totally wakes my eyes up.. which is definitely needed on a Sunday!

Clarins Instant Concealer
I must admit I do get really self conscious about my under-eye area! I don't even think it's as bad as I think it is, but I'm not the best sleeper.. so I constantly feel like I look tired. The Clarins Instant Concealer is a great product and I love the fact that it covers up my darkness, but it's really fluid and refreshing at the same time. It also seems to sit really well over Benefit's PUFF OFF, which is great and makes using the two together really easy.

Benefit Gimmie Brow
My Gimmie Brow is looking a little battered and bruised, but I love it! I find that a quick swipe of this totally makes over my brows, which is important for me even on a Sunday!

Chanel Intimitable Mascara
This has been in my collection since I was 16 and I have really stayed faithful to it. It's not the most thickening mascara, but it makes my eyes look so awake, without any clumping! which totally works for my low key Sunday look.

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine - Secret
I'm gutted that Chanel are discontinuing these lipsticks, but I have faith that they will bring back an even better formula! Secret is a perfect barely there shade, which is enough to give your lips a fresh looking hint of Pink. The formula is also super moisturising, which is great as I don't have to worry so much about using a balm.
I hope you have enjoyed this post lovelies and I'm going to try and keep my Sunday Series up! I do so many different things on a Sunday and I would love to start sharing more of my routines with you all. I would love to hear from you in the comments section down below, do you use any of these products? Also don't forget to leave your links for me to check out :)
