Hope you are all doing really well? I was hoping to get some uni work done today, but to be honest I have been busy doing nothing! Does anyone else ever feel like that haha? So now I have resorted to blogging by the log fire.. not a bad way to end the day I suppose! Anyway lovelies.. I wanted to share my latest skincare purchases with you in a haul styled post. I think after my monster Charlotte Tilbury Haul I felt like I needed to up my skincare game too! It's safe to say that Origins, Clarins, Estee Lauder and Elemis are my go to brands for skincare, even though I'm thinking of venturing into the world of Oskia after rave reviews from Fleur De Force and Viviana Does Makeup. I hope you all enjoy this post and I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section down below. I have also changed my comments system to disqus, which is going to be amazing, as I will be able to reply to your comments more effectively. I've heard some good things about the Boots Tea Tree range, so I decided to pick up the blemish stick for myself and also a scrub for Daniel. The lady at the counter informed me it was actually three for two, so I thought why not pick up something else too! I was in a bit of a rush to get back to the counter, so I really just grabbed the first thing that took my eye... which happened to be the Peel Off Mask. I used it for the first time last night and I was well and truly amazed by how clean this made my skin feel. Okay.. so it was a little messy, but if you have ever loved peeling off PVA Glue when you were a kid... then this mask is worth the effort. It felt so cooling on my skin as well as peeling off really easily! My skin felt smooth, fresh and also looked a lot clearer. I'm planning on using this once a week to refresh my skin and for £2.99 I couldn't be happier!
Origins treat you well! With my two purchases I also received a full size Plantscription moisturiser, which retails for £48!! I have never tried this cream before, but I'm all for a little anti-ageing.. it's never to early to start looking after your skin! I'm really looking forward to trying this product out as I have seen so many great reviews.. Have you tried this?
My go to spot treatment has always been the Origins Super Spot Remover, but the two times I have had this product I have lost it within like two months of owning it! I have no idea where either of them have gone, so I decided to try something a little more inexpensive. I used this for the first time last night along with the peel off mask and I found that my two breakouts had calmed down quite considerably this morning. I'm hoping this will work as well as Origins and save me from spending another £15 on the Super Spot Remover!
I honestly can't sing this products praises enough and it definitely has HG status for me now, especially as this is my third bottle! I always do a deep cleanse in the evening, but this is absolutely perfect for a morning cleanse, as it's light, refreshing but totally does the job. I also use this as a pre-cleanse sometimes, but I feel that it's definitely good enough to stand alone as a morning cleanser. Not only is it a great product, but it smells divine! Plus it leaves your skin feeling baby soft.. I love it!
I have used the treatment version of this product for the past year and a half, but it was out of stock in most places... So I decided to try the Moisturiser version. I always opted for the treatment version, as I loved how light it felt when I first tried it out at the Origins counter. However, I was in desperate need of a new moisturiser, so I decided to get the next closest thing. I have used the moisturiser a few times and must admit they are very similar apart from the treatment having a more gel like texture. I also received a free sample of the evening version of this product, which I'm looking forward to trying soon!
This was the biggest impulse purchase ever, but as my skin loves Origins so much.. I wanted to give this a go. This serum is targeted towards people who are looking for no fuss skincare and aren't on the market for super intense anti-ageing products! I have used this a few times as a day serum and like it, but it hasn't given me the wow factor just yet! I will keep you updated on this one, so let me know if you would like to hear anymore about this product.
Do you ever have a product and love it so much... but when it runs out you don't repurchase? I have no idea why it has taken me so long to add this back into my skincare routine, but I think it was probably down to trying to use up more products from my collection. Originally I had the Lotus oil targeted towards oily skin, but recently I have found my skin to be showing more sings of dehydration. I'm hoping this is going to be just as great as the Lotus version!
I hope you have enjoyed this post lovelies and I would love to hear your thoughts on the products I purchased! I love hearing from you all and it really makes my day to know that you have enjoyed reading my post. I'm hoping that now I'm using disqus I will be able to reply more to your questions on my blog!
