Summer Staples: What's In My Make-Up Bag ? ❤

Hi Lovelies!
Hope you're all doing well? I'm sorry I've been a little bit MIA again on my blog, but I've had so much going on. I have some really exciting developments going on at the moment, so I've had to spread my attention across a few more projects than normal! However, I've got some great posts coming to the blog soon, so I'm excited to get them written up and posted for you lovelies. Last weekend I was snapping away with my camera and I decided to grab my current make-up bag and take a picture of it's contents. I do swap products around quite a bit, as I travel back and forth between work, Daniel's and home... so depending on what I have on it can affect what make-up I carry around in my handbag. The make-up featured in today's post is perfect for creating a light, but flawless base, So I hope you enjoy this post lovelies and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below. I always reply to my blog comments and it really does make me happy to know that you've enjoyed my post, so don't be shy! If you would like to get hold of me a little quicker then you can also use my Social Media icons just to the right hand side of my profile.

I'm not alone when I say this is really worth the hype! For a number of reasons too.. first of all I truly believe this is the closest I will ever get to getting a true 'flim star' glow or perhaps the luminosity and definition that pretty much every single Victoria's Secret angel's has! Both the bronzer and highlighter have great pigmentation and both shades are truly universal in tone. This is a lifesaver for me and it's mirror is just brilliant for mid-day touch ups too!

Bobbi Brown Foundation Touch Up Stick
Is it just me or does anyone else quite enjoy applying make-up throughout the day? I think it has become a bit of a habit, but I'm forever applying a lipstick/balm or a bit more concealer throughout the day. It kind of gives me a few minutes out of my working day, which is quite a nice break. I have the full size version of this which is one of my favourite foundations, but sometimes I just want a quick touch up before I go into a meeting at work, or perhaps as a quick touch up after work if I'm heading out for drinks or a catch up! This 'Touch Up Stick' by Bobbi Brown is such a great size to carry around with you and it's saved me many a time! I would say it's one of my most used make-up products and I'm due to make a re-purchase very soon. I also have my eye on the Bobbi Brown Face Touch-Up Palette too!

Estee Lauder Daywear Tinted Moisturiser
I'm writing up a full review for this product, but I absolutely love this as a light base or just to even my skin-tone before applying my foundation. Now this doesn't really have any coverage, but it gives such an amazing sun kissed glow that it instantly boosts your complexion and your confidence too! It comes out a grey colour and turns to suit your skin-tone, but I won't go into too much detail as I have the review coming live to the blog very soon!

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine - Secret
For me there is no better lipstick than a Chanel Rouge Coco Shine and 'Secret' is a great colour for all types of looks. It has just enough payoff to make a difference to your look and it's also great for everyday, as they have a lovely mositurising formula.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush - Dim Infusion
I'm not actually sure if I've reviewed this or not, but this blush is one of my favourites! It really does give than lit from within look and it works beautifully alongside the CT Film star Bronze and Glow to create a beautiful sun kissed glow. I always transition from from Pinks to Peaches in the summer and Dim Infusion is the perfect blush to warm up your complexion during the warmer months.

I hope you've enjoyed this post lovelies and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below. Have you tried any of these products before, or do you have your eye on anything from this post?

Neom Tranquillity™ Intensive Skin Treatment Candle Review ❤

Hi Lovelies!
Hope you're all doing really well and that you're enjoying the bank holiday so far? It feels like I've been absent for a little while, but actually it's only been a week! With the issues with blogger changing up the resolutions and colours I think it just left me feeling a little un-motivated and actually a little stressed too! I'd spent hours taking pictures last weekend and the fact that they just didn't look right on my blog made me feel a little meh! However, I've managed to find a way to sort out the resolution and I know it's a problem that has affected many bloggers. I take so much pride in my blog that I cannot post content that I don't truly believe in. However, on a brighter note I have quite a few exciting meetings planned this week, which has given me a real boost! and on an even brighter note today I'm going to talk to you about probably one of the most amazing products I have ever tried! I hope you enjoy today's post and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below. I always reply to every single blog comment and It really does make me so happy to know that you've enjoyed my post! So don't be shy. You can also use my social media icons to get in contact a little quicker too!

Neom are a brand that have such value to me for so many reasons! Not to mention the fact I was wowed from my very first purchase! If your new to the brand then Neom London. Neom offer a modern and extremely luxurious take on beauty, home and lifestyle products. Neom really go that extra mile by using the purest form of essential oils to ensure that their products are not only beautifully and naturally fragrant, but they also have holistic properties due to their high essential oil content. Neom also strongly oppose synthetics and harsh ingredients, which really make you realise how devoted Neom are to their products and ensuring that the customer experience is next to none other!

Neom launched their incredible Spa Treatments to provide long-lasting well being benefits to hep with four Key areas; sleep, stress energy levels and mood using essential oil blends - which use the highest possible percentage of the purest essential oils. Due to such high demand Neom decided to launch the treatment's hero product, the Intensive Skin Treatment Candle, which was designed to help you continue your quest for improved sleep or to simply de-stress from day to day life. As much as I love a good old spa day, I also love to do DIY pamper evening's at home, which the Intensive Skin Treatment Candle would be perfect for. The incredibly moisturising candle wax is blended using only the purest hydrating cocoa butter, vitamin rich soybean and almond oils and 100% natural vegetable wax. It's safe to say that this has been one of the most exciting products to come through my post box in a long time.

There are many beautiful candles on the market today, but quite a lot of them are fairly expensive and apart from the visual aspect no other candle (that i'm aware of) has such an impressive dual use! The NEOM Intensive Skin Treatment Candle is formulated with a low melt point, which means after just two minutes its perfectly safe to drizzle the nourishing oil directly onto the skin. With such a innovative formula it means the oils deeply penetrate on first application to intensively repair and protect dry, tired and stressed skin... not to mention the beautiful therapeutic benefits. I've used my Tranquillity candle quite a few times now and there is still plenty of burn time left. I tend to light the candle about 30 minutes before I plan to use the candle and I usually place it in my bathroom, whilst the bath is running. When I return it's safe to say the bathroom is filled with the most deeply relaxing scent, which makes bath time heavenly. I'm not the best sleeper Tranquillity contains 19 sedative oils, which take just 20 minutes to travel to the limbic system and are met by an incredible 50 millions receptors before they start their journey onto our sense of smell where they work their magic to leave you feeling 100% more relaxed and also beautifully nourished.

Overall
I absolutely love the fact that again Neom have created a product truly designed for the customer and to me that is so important. Working in the hospitality industry I really know what it means to give and receive five star customer service and Neom completely offer the whole package. For £36 I truly think this candle is more than worth it's price tag! The fact that it's such a hybrid product and can not only be used for visual, ttherapeutic use but for skincare purposes too.. is just amazing. I've included the video directly from Neom so you can see more about how the candle can be used!

I hope you've enjoyed this post lovelies and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below. What do you think of the new Neom Intensive Skin Treatment Candle?

I would also really recommend checking out Neom's Wellbeing Magazine

CHANEL ROUGE COCO Ultra Hydrating Lip Colour 'Cecile' Review ❤

Chanel Rouge Coco Lipstick Cecile
Hi Lovelies!
Hope you are all doing really well? Despite being under the weather right now, I had the most dreamy spa day last Friday with one of my friends Floss. I honestly can't wait to write that post up and tell you all about our day! I'm still a little unsatisfied with my picture situation and blogger is still messing around with my colours and resolution, so please forgive me if I'm not on top of my picture game right now. I just couldn't go any longer without posting another lipstick review, so I thought I would review one of my more recent Chanel purchases, which is the Chanel Rouge Coco Lipstick in the shade 'Cecile' I've also reviewed the shade 'Adrienne' which can be found here. Chanel lipsticks are my guilty pleasure and I've been SO impressed with their new reformulated Rouge Coco Lipsticks, so I'm definitely going to be picking up a few more shades in the next few weeks! I hope you enjoy this post lovelies and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below. I always reply to comments and it really does make my day hearing that you've enjoyed reading my post.. so don't be shy :) You can also get in contact via my social media icons just to the right hand side if you would like a quicker response.

Chanel Rouge Coco Lipstick Cecile
CHANEL ROUGE COCO Ultra Hydrating Lip Colour 'Cecile' £26.00
When looking for a new lipstick my eyes are usually drawn to what I like to call 'Cocktail Shades' which are usually bright and super pretty looking. However, through trial and error and a lot of money later I've found that quite a lot of those shade's don't really suit my skin tone! I wanted to find a Pink that actually suited me and made me feel more confident about my overall look. I was lucky to have a super lovely sales assistant who showed me the shade 'Cecile' at the Chanel counter and explained to me that it was a beautiful rose wood toned shade, which would bring out my green eyes. It's actually the lipstick I'm wearing in my blog profile picture too! I must admit I probably wouldn't have picked it up by myself, but after she applied it to me I was sold. I couldn't believe how much this lipstick brought out the colour in my eyes! All of a sudden I felt a lot better about myself, as I had been feeling a little meh that day. I ended up making the purchase and Cecile has become one of my most loved lipsticks!

If you read my review on 'Adrienne' you might have seen that the new re-invented Rouge Coco's were named after Coco Chanel's loved ones, friends, muses and her favourite artists. I love to know the real meaning and history behind a brand, so I thought that was actually a really nice touch for the re-invention of the new lipsticks. The formula is also a dream and I feel like it's much improved on the previous formula. I have some of the older Rouge Coco's and find that they are not consistent in their textures and I found some of the old shades to be a little grainy and uncomfortable. However, that is not something you need to worry about with the 2015 formula and I can honestly say that even my dry/chapped lips can happily pull off the new formula without a lip balm! In terms of 'Cecile' as a shade, it's best described as a soft rose-wood pink with warm undertones. Cecile also has a soft frosted sheen, but don't be put off by that, as I've found that it actually makes my lips look fuller and not so flat looking! It's a perfect shade to wear on a daily basis, but I love that it does add a little something to your lips, plus if you have
greeny/blue eyes it will really make them pop! I don't think that restricts this lipstick though, as I'm sure with it's soft/warm tones that it will suit loads of skin tones and eye colours. I thought I would add a picture below of me wearing it, so you can see how it looks on my natural skin tone. Excuse the 'au natural selfie' and puffy eyes though, I've been pretty unwell the past week and sleep hasn't been my friend Ha!
Chanel Rouge Coco Lipstick Cecile
Overall
I adore 'Cecile' and it's currently my most worn lipstick along with the shade 'Adrienne' They are pretty pricey at £26 a pop, but I do feel that the formula has been improved so much! If I had to recommend you just one shade I would probably say 'Adrienne' Purely as it's the most wearable nude I have ever come across and it's super hard to find a flattering nude in my opinion! I love both though and would totally recommend both shades if your in the market for a cheeky lipstick splurge!

I would love to hear your thoughts on this lipstick, Is it a shade you would like to try?

Beauty & Skincare Empties ❤

Hi Lovelies!
Hope you are all doing well? I'm enjoying some time off work at the moment and trying my best to get on my blog game, so that I have lot's of content and pretty posts for you lovelies. I'm still having a bit of a nightmare with my images loosing quality via blogger, but I hope it's not too noticeable... fingers crossed blogger will sort out the glitch soon. I feel like it's also messing around with my colours, but I've noticed a few bloggers saying the same thing too! I was thinking of blog post ideas and it dawned upon me that I don't think I've ever written an empties post on my blog. I've gathered up a few empties I had lying around, so hopefully this will be an interesting read. I would love to hear from you in the comments section below and don't forget to leave your links too. I always reply to blog comments and nothing makes me happier than knowing that you've enjoyed reading my post. If you would like to get in contact a little quicker then you can also used my social media icons just to the right hand side of my blog.
Clarins One Step Peach Cleansing Water
I feel like this is becoming a serious HG cleanser for me, as I'm now on my third. It's not just the fact it smells out of this world, but it really does make your skin feel well cleansed and extremely supple after using it. I tend to use it as a pre-cleanse to remove my make-up, but I also like to use it in the morning if I'm in more of a rush and don't have time to use a milk or oil cleanser. I do get through this pretty quick though, which makes it quite an expensive member of my skincare routine. Verdict: Repurchasing

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

I tend to re-purchase my Clarins Cleansing Water, but I like to keep this in my collection in case I run out of my Clarins version. I really rate the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and think for the money you can't go wrong! It does make me wonder if I do need to repurchase the Clarins... Hmm! Verdict: Repurchasing

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Lipsticks x3
These are my HG lipsticks, but I've heard from my good friend Sophia that they might be getting discontinued or having a bit of a revamp soon, so I'm praying they come back even better than they are now! The shades I ran out of were Evasion, Secret and Boy, but sadly my beloved shade Evasion has been discontinued.. gutted is not the word :( Verdict: Repurchasing (apart from Evasion)

Clarins Instant Smooth Self Tanning
I've managed to work my way through two of these beauties and I must admit it's a fantastic product! For £20 you get a gorgeous primer and a face tanner, which makes it amazing for perfecting your complexion. Half the time I don't even use a foundation with this primer/tanner, as it's so good smoothing and adding radiance to your face. I'm gutted I've run out of this, so when I hit Clarins next I will be topping up on this and my Peach Cleansing Water. Verdict: Repurchasing

Origins Ginzing Moisturiser

I'm a huge fan of the Origins Ginzing Eye cream and the Ginzing Moisturiser is lovely too. I finished it up a little while ago now, but for some reason kept the pot! Ha I'm a packaging hoarder. Even though I did really like this moisturiser it didn't really make a lasting impression on me Verdict: Not Repurchasing

Origins Eye Doctor Eye Cream

I stick by this is one of the best eye creams I have ever tried. I love the fact that it doesn't have any wild and unrealistic claims, but instead it did a fantastic job of keeping my under eye area moisturised and comfortable. However, I've recently fallen head over heels for Benefit's 'PUFF OFF' so sadly, I won't be repurchasing this again. Verdict: Not Repurchasing

Korres Lip Butter 'Guava'

I was totally gutted to come to the end of this little beauty, as it's such a gorgeous lip butter. The texture is dreamy, it smells amazing and it does a lovely job of keeping your lips in good condition. I also love the fact that it has a slight milky colour payoff, which I found really helped to neutralise my lip colour for certain lipstick shades. Since using the Korres Lip Butter I've started using the NUXE Reve De Miel, which I do find a lot better for the overall condition of my lips, but this isn't the end for me and Korres Verdict: Repurchasing

I hope you've enjoyed this post lovelies! I would love to know if you have tried any of the products in today's posts or perhaps you have an empties post you would like to share below?

Updated Spring & Summer Makeup Routine ❤

Summer Makeup Routine
Hi Lovelies!
Hope you are all doing really well? I'm so happy it's the weekend and I've had quite a nice relaxed Saturday to be honest. The past few nights I've been having issues with blogger uploading my pictures blurry and it's been doing my head in! I'm not one to give in though, so i kept researching until I found a solution. I think it may be a blogger glitch, so I'm hoping it's going to be fixed soon. At the moment I have to go in and out of the html coding, so I apologise if I'm not on top of my picture game. I'm not sure about you, but at the first sign of Spring I like to try and update my make-up routine with a few more spring/summer inspired beauty products. So, I thought I would go ahead and show you how i'm updating my routine this spring/summer.I hope you enjoy this post lovelies and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below. If you would like to get a quicker response then you can always use my social media icons too!
Summer Makeup Routine
The Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow is quite a hybrid product in the sense that it's kind of a mixture between skincare and make-up! Even though the spring/summer normally brings more healthy looking skin anyway, I always like to have something to offer a helping hand. It really does give that very much coveted 'lit from within' look which makes it the perfect way to perk up your make-up, but also to give you a few cheeky skincare benefits too! It's a great product to have in your make-up routine for an instant lift. (Full Review Coming Soon)

Ha! I had to get this product in once again and yes I've admitted I'm completely obsessed/smitten with this foundation and I'm pretty sure I always will be. I don't tend to use it much in the Winter time, but come Spring I can't wait to feel it's light weight and totally skin like texture on my face. It's got the added bonus of SPF15 which makes it a gorgeous foundation to wear throughout Spring/Summer. I always like to swap out my fuller coverage foundations for a lighter option and the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation is a great way to get the feeling of a tinted moisturiser, but the coverage of a light foundation!

I always love to add the Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel back into my make-up routine in the Spring. It's a great multi-use bronzer and can be used as a base product, contour or even to apply a bit of colour to your neck and decollete area! It can sometimes look a little scary in the pot, but seriously it has so many uses and it's a really great bronzer in general. I always take this on holiday with me, as it's got me out of a few sticky situations where parts of my body haven't quite matched! We've all been there right?

If I had to recommend a bronzer/highlight duo this would be it. It's a little pricey, but it's certainly been in my routine since purchasing it a little while ago. The bronze shade it just perfect to achieve perfect definition and the champagne like highlighter shade definitely gives a 'Filmstar Glow' This duo is a great way to start adding a touch of glamour to your spring/summer make-up look, plus it has a seriously amazing mirror.

With the warmer weather on it's way it's not unusual for skin to start producing more oil, so it's a good idea to have a powder at hand to keep any oil/shine at bay. I always opt for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders, as they are amazing at keeping your foundation in place without taking away your skins natural luminosity.

I always feel like Spring is here when I start adding more peachy/coral lipsticks into my daily make-up routine. In the winter they just don't suit me, but I think a nice 'Coral' shade is a great way to update your make-up bag for spring!

I always feel like a gloss is a more summery make-up product, as in the Winter I find that the wind and rain is just a little too much to deal with. A gloss like the Chanel Glossimer is a great way to add more dimension to your lips and a touch of sass too, which is always a nice touch for the warmer months.

Another great way to update your make-up bag for Spring is by using a flesh colour eyeliner in the inner corners of your eyes and also along your water line. Even if your feeling a little tired, it will give your eyes an instant lift.
