Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask Review ❤

Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask Review

Hi Lovelies!
Hope you're all keeping well? I'm very rarely off on a Monday, but I must admit I do enjoy having a Monday off even if it means I have to work a Saturday. I've managed to catch up on a bit of blogging today, as well as popping out for some lunch, which was a nice treat! I'm sure most of my readers already know I'm a bit of a skincare junkie, but as much as I love a good old skincare ritual... sometimes I wish I had a bit more of an 'instant fix'. Last month I headed to London with my lovely blogging buddy Sophia for the Cosmo Blog Awards and as part of our day we treated ourselves to a Charlotte Tilbury Makeover (and a few products too) One of the real standout products for me was the Goddess Skin Clay Mask, which was used to prep my skin for my makeover. I've been using this gorgeous mask two times a week and I couldn't wait to write this review up for you lovelies. I hope you enjoy this post and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below. You can also use my social media icons to the right hand side if you would like to get in contact a little quicker!

The Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask is formulated to leave you with moisturised, dewy and glowing skin, whilst also tightening your pores and clearing imperfections. The mask is based on an ancient Mediterranean beauty recipe, which combines nutrient-rich Spanish clay with the addition of Sweet Almond Oil, which has fantastic nourishing properties. Other key ingredients include Rosehip Oil, Frangipani Flower Extract and BioNymph Peptide Complex, which boosts collagen production and visibly improves elasticity.

Prior to my makeover, my skin was definitely suffering due to a crazy busy week and I was noticing redness and also a few key signs of dehydration, such as a loss of radiance. On application the mask felt thick, but smooth and very luxurious. A lot of clay masks have a traditional chalky texture and tend to dry quite hard (which I don't mind) but this mask felt very different to any I had tried before. After about 10 minutes my makeup artist took the mask off and the results were seriously impressive. My skin was noticeably more plump and my redness had calmed down so much, which made me feel instantly more confident! I obviously made the purchase and the results have been just as good at home. My skin is left noticeably plump, as well as my pores looking a lot smaller (woohoo)

If you're a fan of Frangipani then you will love this mask, as for me Frangipani is the make scent that subtly comes through. I tend to use this mask as more of an instant fix, so when I know I have an important day or before and evening out! It really is the most perfect mask for leaving your skin perfectly pampered and it also leaves your skin in great condition for make-up application.
Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask Review
Overall
If you're craving baby smooth skin then this could be the mask for you! It's expensive at £45.00, but personally the instant results make it very impressive. It's so disheartening when you spend that kind of money on a product that doesn't perform, but the Goddess Skin Clay Mask really does deliver exactly what it says on the tube. I have to admit I've recently tried a few other bits from the CT skincare range and I've found them to be nice, but way to thick for my skin to handle and would definitely be suited to dry/mature skin types. If you're looking to dabble in CT skincare, my recommendation would 100% be this mask!

I would love to hear your thoughts - Have you tried anything from the Charlotte Tilbury Skincare Line?

Lots of Love

  3. This sounds really interesting, especially nice to have a different scent as most clay masks can smell a bit funny.

  4. I love the ingredients in this mask - you don't often see clay masks with rosehip oil in! So expensive though, eek! xx
