Hello my lovelies
Hope you're all well? I'm having a blogging morning, whilst watching Tinker Bell - Life is good. I still can't get my head around the fact that Christmas has gone? I do find this period of time between Christmas and New Year quite awkward, but I always look forward to a New Year! I love to glam up a little on New Years Eve/Day, so I thought I would talk you about a brand that I was recently introduced too, as well as showing you a few other party time favourites. I hope you enjoy this post my loves and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below.
When I heard about the brand Threads I was excited to learn more, especially as they have just launched a New Lash & Brow collection in store Harvery Nichols, Knightsbridge. I was in London not that long ago and I'm gutted that I didn't get to stop by, but there will definitely be more chances for me to visit in 2016. Threads are an Irish beauty brand that retail a collection of handmade strip lashes with a tailor made flexi-bands for the perfect fit. Threads also have a collection of nourishing mineral-based brown and eye pencils that are inspired by their lash bar experience in Ireland. I don't tend to wear lashes often, but when it comes to a night out or a special occasion they are first on my list to give my eyes a little Va Va Voom! I was lucky enough to be sent their Red Cherri and Rock Chick lashes, as well as their Crayon De Sourcil Eyebrow Pencil. I was hoping to create a look for this post, but I had my four year old niece who wanted her nails painted as well as wanting to cook Frozen Cakes, so something had to give ha! I will definitely be creating a look in the near future though and would love to start posting a few more tutorials on my blog.
When I first set my eyes on the Red Cherri lashes they definitely looked intense, but actually I think they would make the ultimate party lash, as they are so striking! I was definitely drawn in by the Rock Chick Lashes, which I would love to wear with a subtle grey smokey eye and a nude/pink lip. I briefly tried on the Rock Chick Lashes and wow they were seriously amazing and the most impressive thing was actually the quality of the band and also the application felt so sturdy! Once the glue had set, I had my work cut out getting them off, which is obviously a good thing when you're wanting to look your best for a special occasion. The stand out product for me has definitely been the Crayon De Sourcil Eyebrow Pencil (Full review coming soon), which is literally a brow lovers dream and the standout product for me! The pencil is described as being a semi permanent pencil (but don't be scared) that just means that it has kick ass staying power and combined with the handy brow brush it gives you fierce brows. Hassle free.
Moving onto my 'Party Essentials' I always have to carry a little clutch/bag with me, as I do like to carry a lipstick, gloss, concealer and mini perfume like this Lancome one (If possible) I'm also really loving the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer, as it works amazingly to brighten any pesky dark areas, as well as being super easy to apply. On a night out I always take a concealer with me, as my biggest concern is always how my under eye area looks! I'm such a bad sleeper, so I often suffer with darkness and puffiness (Boohoo) not a cool party look. My party clutch also wouldn't be complete without a Killer Lip Combo and that's where my YSL Rouge Volupte #LingeriePink & NARS #TurkishDelight Gloss, which work fabulously together to create a super striking lip.
I hope you've enjoyed this post my loves and I hope you all have a fantastic New Year! Don't forget to leave your comments below, as I really love hearing from you!
Lots of Love
