Hello my lovelies!
Hope you're all doing well? I'm super excited to have finished work until the 4th January! I worked quite a lot of Christmas last year, so I'm really grateful to have some more time off with my loved ones this year. It's been a pretty hectic year, but I'm looking forward to what I'm hoping will be a very exciting 2016! I hope you enjoy tonight's review and I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below!
I must admit I'm quite a toner lover! I know not everyone loves using a toner, but for me they finalise my cleanse and make sure my skin is free of any residue. It's no secret that my favourite toner of all time is the Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner, but I do like to shop around and look for new products to love (obviously the blogger in me ha!) I've also used toners fro Liz Earle and Sisley, which I also adore... so what do I think about Pixi Glow Tonic. I have to be brutally honest with you, it wasn't love at first use! I used this consistently for a few weeks after first purchasing it and even though I didn't dislike it... there wasn't enough about it to make me prefer it to any others I had already tried. Described as being 'Instantly refreshing' and alcohol free the Pixi Glow Tonic brightens, tones and conditions your skin after cleansing. It's enriched with glycol acid a member of the hydroxy acid family as well as Aloe, ginseng and hazel, which soothes, hydrates and tones the skin whilst promoting dewy radiance.
After replacing this toner with the Sisley Floral Toning Lotion for a little while (which is fab) I decided to give this cult beauty product another go! After not being instantly in love, I wondered if I had expected too much too soon! after all it's hailed by pretty much everyone I love to watch/read in the beauty world and I'm glad I revisited. The past few months have been pretty insane between travelling and a hectic schedule I started to get some seriously pesky spots around my chin area, which seriously wouldn't budge. It was only when I started using the Pixi Glow Tonic that I noticed them starting to fade away. I also tend to scar for quite a few months when I get a bad spot and despite not being able to shift my troublesome skin for a while, it seems that the Pixi Glow Tonic might have genuinely helped to get rid of them as it was the only new addition to my routine at the time.
My skin has definitely been a lot clearer and smoother since bringing the Pixi Glow Tonic back into my routine. It may not have been love at first use, but I think that perhaps I was to quick to judge with this one. I will definitely keep you updated and will write a quick update when I'm finished. At £18 it's not cheap, but definitely worth checking out! Find out more
I would love to know your thoughts on this products lovelies... is it your holy grail or a product you're looking to try in the New Year.
Lots of Love
