The 90s Lip | MAC Stone, Velvet Teddy & Whirl ❤

MAC Stone, Velvet Teddy & Whirl
Hello my lovelies!
Hope you're all keeping well? Anyone who knows me or has read my blog for quite a while will know that lipsticks are my thing! Recently, I’ve really gotten into the whole Kylie J brown lip trend and to be honest I wasn’t expecting it to suit me, but I really like how it looks! I decided to try my luck at the MAC store in Heathrow T3 last October to see if they had Velvet Teddy in stock, as that was the one shade I had been hearing about constantly in the blogosphere. To my complete shock the girl pulled out the last Velvet Teddy and it’s safe to say I did not take it off during my holiday to Dubai. I’ve been pretty inseparable from Velvet Teddy and most of my lipsticks have been put to the side, so I decided it was about time to venture out and try a few more shades, especially as the whole 90s lip is so on trend right now. I wasn't actually sure if I liked a Matte lip, but I'm pretty sure MACs 2015 Matte Collection has completely changed any misconceptions I had about matte lipsticks. I’ve been so excited to get this post written up and I will most probably create a few looks with these lipsticks and post to my social media, so if you want to see more make sure you follow me on Instagram or add me on Snapchat |JewelBeautyBlog| where I’m posting all my behind the scenes media and a few snap vlogs here and there too. I’m afraid my lips are in a pretty dire situation right now and were not feeling blog friendly! I need to whip out the Nuxe Reve De Miel that's for sure. I hope you enjoy this review and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below.

L-R Stone, Whirl & Velvet Teddy

MAC Velvet Teddy is pretty much the ultimate shade to try if you’re looking to venture away slightly from traditional nudes and try out a signature Kylie J lip. After constantly seeing this shade sell out, I was genuinely shocked when the MAC counter in Heathrow T3 had it in stock. I wasn't sure if I was going to love it or hate it, but it's safe to say it did not leave my side whilst in Dubai (last October) and I have worn it probably 3-4 times a week since coming home! I would describe Velvet Teddy as a dark nude with rosy undertones, which goes with any look and can work for pretty much any occasion. You can also amp up the look with a little lip liner (I use Rimmel's Spice) if you want to channel the 90s/Jenner trend. The finish is matte and very opaque, but I haven't found this shade overly drying at all. It has very impressive staying power and to be honest I just love it!

After researching a few shades, and a lot of reviews later, I found that many people thought Whirl was like a darker version of Velvet Teddy, which after trying it I would 100% agree with. I’m beyond obsessed with this shade and even though it’s darker than Velvet Teddy I would still class it as being wearable due to its rosy tones. If you're looking to explore brown lips a little further than the likes of Velvet Teddy, then this is the go to shade! Like Velvet Teddy it has fantastic staying power and it's a real beauty if you're looking for a bolder browner lip.

MAC Stone has been a shade that I’ve been umming and ahhing over the past few months! I've been really intrigued by it and knew that I needed it in my collection. It's described as muted taupe brown with grey undertones! I've only worn this once with minimal make-up and I have to admit it completely drained me and I ended up taking it off mid-day and re-applied my beloved Velvet Teddy. I think that this shade is best worn with flawless and warmer make-up (Lots of bronzer) as it can look quite gothicy. There's no denying that Stone is a beautiful stand out shade, but I haven't quite figured this one out yet.
MAC Stone, Velvet Teddy & Whirl
Overall
I love all three shades and even though I haven't quite got to grips with Stone, I still 100% appreciate how beautiful it is. If I had to recommend just one shade I would have to say Velvet Teddy, It's pure perfection. However, Whirl is the next step up and one to check out if you're looking to expand your nude/brown collection, but if you're looking for a completely out there and a real WOW shade then give Stone a go! I hope you've enjoyed this post and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below. Your comments honestly mean the world to me and genuinely make me smile from ear to ear!

Dabbling In Dermalogica ❤

Dermalogica Hydrablur Primer
Hello my Lovelies!
I hope you're all having a good week so far? Today's post is going to be all about my favourite topic... skincare! I was first introduced to Dermalogica at my favourite beauty clinic Taje located in South Wales. I love skincare and have worked within the skincare and the beauty/spa industry. After trying  a couple of Dermalogica sachet samples, I knew that there were a few products that took my fancy and I was excited to get involved with a few of their new releases! I hope you enjoy this review lovelies and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below. You can also use my social media icons if you would like a quicker response, or even if you just fancy having a chit chat!

The Dermalogica Skin Soothing Hydrating Lotion is described as a lightweight moisturiser that aims to improve dehyrated, breakout prone and uncomfortable skin types. I must admit I'm very lucky not to have breakout prone skin (touch wood) but I do suffer with dehydration and more recently spots of dryness, so I was excited to see how this sheer oil-free moisturiser would perform. I replaced my Clinique Moisture Surge to see how I felt about using this moisturiser on a daily basis and so far so good! It's a very light-weight formula that is very easy to apply and instantly feels cooling and soothing. Key ingredients include squalane, Hyaluronic Acid that are known to soften, nourish and relieve signs of dehydration. A variety of gentle botanicals including ginger, orange and grapefruit also help to soothe and protect skin from any uncomfortable sensations. I'm really enjoying using this product and I'm also a fan of its uplifting fragrance and it's tube style packaging. I do love a pot, but pot packaging isn't the best for keeping active ingredients fresh, plus a tube is generally more hygienic and easy to travel with. I believe this particular Dermalogica range is targeted towards teens and young adults, which is great as it can be quite hard to find a moisturiser that manages to hydrate your skin, whist fighting problematic skin concerns.

Next up we have the Dermalogica Hydrablur Primer, which is another new product from Dermalogica. Designed to blur fine line and pores, as well as hydrating and brightening skin. So, as you can imagine I was equally excited to try out this new offering from Dermalogica. I go in and out of using a primer, but I'm not a huge fan of an overly siliconey texture, which stops me from using a lot of my primers on a regular basis. However, the Dermalogica HydraBlur Primer is lightweight and non-greasy, which makes it feel more like a skincare product than a primer. Key ingredients include Abyssinian seed oil, Wu-Zhu-Yu (a fruit extract) which help to brighten and smooth the skins texture by creative a non-occlusive film, helping to maintain your skins moisture levels without clogging pores. Mushroom extract also helps to reduce pore size and visibility (Bonus) If that isn't good enough then Dermalogica use a H20 Release Complex of sodium hyaluronate also help to optimise hydration levels to maintain skin flexibility and comfort throughout the day. I've been using this after moisturising and I'm SO impressed by this primer, it leaves my skin feeling matte, but silky without any residue! I've been applying this before my foundation mostly, but also on it's own after my skincare routine. I do think it helps to keep my foundation on better and I can tell, because my foundation seems to be lasting on my nose a lot longer. Overall, I think it's fantastic and one of the best primers I've tried in a very long time!
Dermalogica Hydrablur Primer

Overall
I'm so happy with both of these new Dermalogica releases! They have become a real dream team within my skincare routine over the past few weeks. When used together they help to hydrate, prepare and protect my skin throughout the whole day! They are also impressive by themselves and I think that the moisturiser would be the perfect rescue for troublesome skin that most of us experience during our teens and early-mid twenties. The primer is also a fantastic product and really does feel like more of a skincare product than a traditional primer, that I find sometimes can feel a bit funny on the skin. I hope you've enjoyed this post my loves and I would love to hear your thoughts below. Each and every comment honestly means the world to me and puts the biggest smile on my face!

Instagram Journal #1

Hello my lovelies!
Happy Monday! I've decided to start an Instagram Journal on my blog, where once a month I will include a snap shot of my latest posts and I suppose just have more of a chance to have a bit of a ramble! Recently, I made the decision to change the style of my Instagram, as I want it to be more consistent. It wasn't an easy decision, as part of me felt and still feels like my Instagram should perhaps be a more personal place where I post whatever I like, no matter how miss match it looks. However, I really want to grow my Instagram in 2016 and it seems consistency is key! I'm going to trial it out for a little while before I make a decision on what direction to take my Instagram. My plan is create posts that are minimalistic, but still have pops of colour... I don't think I could go all white everythangg ha! I'm currently using snapchat as a more personal view into my life. I like that I'm able to talk and express how I'm feeling, as well as giving my readers a sneak peek behind the scenes of my blog. I've also had quite a few requests to post my photography tips for both my blog and Instagram, which is very flattering considering how amateur I am. I'm currently planning these posts and hope to have them live within the next few weeks. I would love to know what you like to see in an Instagram account, do you have any advice or any questions you would like to ask me?

Also if  you're on Instagram/Snapchat then pretty please leave me your links, questions and anything else you would like to chat about below!

Estee Lauder Gift With Purchase Exclusive To Harrods ❤

Hello My Lovelies!
Hope you're all having a great weekend so far? After a pretty tiresome week I'm glad to be sat down blogging and writing about some gorgeous products for you lovelies. Today, I'm going to be talking about a simply gorgeous gift with purchase set (exclusive to Harrods) and who doesn't love a good old gift with purchase and who doesn't love Harrods?! Whether you're looking to try more from a brand, give as a gift or just to accumulate a few more beauty bags (us beauty lovers can't get enough) then a gift with purchase is always a bonus to spending x amount on a certain brand. Estee Lauder is a brand close to my heart, as it's what my mum has always used and since getting into skincare and beauty I've also taken a shine to Estee Lauder (especially my beloved ANR II) To qualify for this fabulous gift worth over £155, you need to spend £75 with Estee Lauder, which can be done, especially if you're in the market for some new skincare & make-up, or maybe shopping around for a mother's day gif? I've trialed a few of the products already, so that I could give you an initial thoughts kind of review on a few of the products! I hope you enjoy this review lovelies and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below!

About Estee Lauder - Re-Nutriv Collection
The Estee Lauder Re-Nutriv range is a premium collection of luxurious anti ageing products that are infused with over 50 ingredients including precious Black Tourmaline gems, South Sea pearls, refines 24k gold and multi-patented contour lifting Technologies.

Contents
- X2 Beauty Cases
- Re-Nutriv Intensive Smoothing Hand Creme, 30ml
- Re - Nutriv Hydrating Creme Cleanser, 30ml
- Re-Nutriv Ultimate Lift Age-Correcting Creme, 15ml
- Re-Nutriv Ultimate Lift Age-Correcting Eye Creme, 5ml
- Sumptuous Extreme Mascara, 2.8ml
- Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick in Scarlet Siren, full size

Firstly, you're presented with two gorgeous beauty cases (which have already featured in half of my blog photo shoots) They have a slight snake-skin pattern and are a lovely light grey, one is very large and the other is small and a perfect size for a daily make-up bag. I really don't think you can have enough of these type of bags! I seem to have a draw full of them, but they all get used. Next up we have the Re-Nutriv Intesnice Smoothing Hand Creme (Full size £56), which is described as a sumptuous hand creme, which uses advanced anti-spot technology to help reduce the look of dark sports and to keep yours hands supple and visibly smoothed. I have to admit I'm not a huge hand creme user and at the moment this one is a little rich for me, but I've been using this in the evening, as part of my pamper routine! The next product is the Re Nutriv Hydrating Creme Cleanser (Full size £44), which is a rich, luxurious creme cleanser that cushions and conditions the skin whist gently removing impurities. I've used this product a few times already and i really like it, I don't find this product too rich and it definitley leaves my skin feeling supple. Onto one of my favourite products the Re- Nutriv Ultimate Lift Age-Corecting Creme (50ml £175) I must admit I almost choked when I was researching this product and found that it's top level price was over £600!! It definitely made me feel lucky to have a generous sample size within this gift set. Described as being an ultra-luxurious and powerful creme, this moisturiser is designed to repair, hydrate, lift, firm and leave your skin radiant and energised. I've been using this creme first thing in the morning and last thing at night and I'm in love! It's extremely moisturising without leaving a residue and after leaving it on overnight, I definitely find I wake up with a firmer and far more radiant complexion.
Next up we have the Re-Nutriv Ultimate Lift Age-Correcting Eye Creme (Full size £90), described as being a deeply hydrating, age-resisting eye creme that brightens the under eye are, whilst reducing puffiness and dry lines. I've been using this eye-cream daily for over a week and I'm definitely impressed by it. It's very softening and feels nourishing, which is nice as I do use quite a lot of concealer and can feel my under-eye area starting to get more uncomfortable and dry (god damn dark circles) I haven't used it long enough to make a full decision on it, but so far so good! The next product in the gift set is the Sumptuous Extreme Mascara (Full Size £24) and I'm always grateful for sample sized mascara, especially as I spend so much time travelling between work, home and Daniel's house! The packaging is just beautiful and I love how sleek and sophisticated it looks. However, I've found that it clumps my lashes slightly and I'm definitley a lover of a more natural clump-free lash. Finally, we have the Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick in Scarlet Siren (Full Size £22) I'm a huge fan of Estee Lauder Pure Color lipsticks, so I was really excited to see the shade Scarlet Siren, especially as I love a statement Red lip. Scarlet Siren is quite a classic red with a glossy opaque coverage. It's definitely a brightening Red and I think that it could be possibly more suited to someone with cool undertones.

Overall
I have really enjoyed trying this Estee Lauder Gift with Purchase worth over £155. It has given me a chance to try the premium Estee Lauder Re-Nutriv range, which I probably wouldn't have tried otherwise. I definitely think the Re-Nutriv range is suited to drier skin types and more mature skin, but saying that I haven't found the formulation too much for my normal/combination skin. I especially liked the Re-Nutriv face creme, eye creme and the Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick. If you're looking to treat yourself or someone special to some Estee Lauder then this gift set is such a bonus to have. I also think this would make such an amazing Mother's Day Gift and I've already had my mum asking about a few of the products included! I would love to hear your thoughts below, do you think this gift with purchase would make a perfect treat?

This exclusive Harrods offer runs from 11/02/16 - 06/03/16 and is available on Estee Lauder's purchases of £70 and above

Carol Joy Pure Collagen Spray Review ❤

Carol Joy Pure Collagen Spray Review
Hello Lovelies!
Hope you're all keeping well and having a good week so far? Most of my readers will know I’m a total skincare junkie and that I will pretty much give anything a go (within reason) I must admit I hadn’t really heard of Carol Joy, but I was excited to learn more about the brand and try out her latest product the “Carol Joy Pure Collagen Spray” I hope you enjoy this review lovelies and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below!
Carol Joy Pure Collagen Spray Review
Carol Joy is a range of luxury anti-ageing products and treatments, containing clinically proven transformational ingredients such as Pure Cure Collagen, Refined Golden Millet Oil, and Caviar Algae. With their home at prestigious The Dorchester Hotel, Carol Joy London has become one of the most exclusive skincare/spa brands in the world.

The Pure Collagen Spray is the most dinky but impressive product I have ever tried. It has been created using cutting edge technology to rejuvenate the skin and prevent the signs of ageing. With impressive clinical trails behind this product, I was intrigued to start using it and learning more about it's key ingredient, Pure Collagen. Carol Joy has combined 100% pure collagen and plant stem cells to create a deeply potent blend that is designed to recapture the vitality of an instant facial. When I first opened the Carol Joy package I was quite surprised to see such a dinky spray can and slightly shocked at first to learn of it's price tag! - So what does this product really do and is it worth it?

Skin-identical collagen peptides stimulate collagen synthesis by signalling skin regeneration whilst phyto-stem cell extract protects and activates the dermal stem cells for increased cell reveal and longevity. Insoluble collagen fibres form a 3-D network that resembles the structure of real skin and therefore helps to provide intense hydration and reduce irritation. The technology used within the pure collagen spray can increase skin hydration by 60%, reduce skin irritation and redness by up to 28% as well as offering immediate reduction of wrinkle depth by up to 15%.

I must admit I was pretty bowled over by all the impressive facts and trials surrounding this product and having worked in skincare myself, I really appreciate the structure of skin and how important it is to try and conserve your natural resources. As you age your body naturally stops producing collagen and your existing collagen begins to break down, leading to sagging and wrinkles. In work an example of a loss of collagen was to see how quick your skin retracted on the top of your hand when pinching it! Basically, collagen is a super amazing protein that gives your skin the appearance of fullness, as well as sustaining internal organs. I've been using the Carol Joy Pure Collagen Spray for over a month, and I have to admit I'm sold on it! It has a slightly bouncy texture, whilst remaining comfortable to spray over your face. I really do feel that results are instant and once you've applied this you are presented with a fuller, radiant looking face. You can also apply it over make-up, but personally I think it's too expensive to use as a mid-day boost over make-up. I tend to use this mainly after cleansing and toning, as I definitely want to ensure that my skin is able to receive all the benefits of this little powerhouse!
Carol Joy Pure Collagen Spray Review
Overall
I've definitley had a lot to take in and consider with this product, especially with it's price tag of £100. Collagen is amazing, amazing stuff and Carol Joy is the first skincare/spa brand in the world to use triple-action, pure native (medical grade) collagen technology, which is pretty impressive. If you're into your skincare and are in the market for some luxury skincare then I would 100% recommend this product and even though it's in a dinky spray can it definitley does go a long way - The fact that it is able to mimic and understand your skins natural structure is just out of this world. However, I find it hard to just out and out recommend this product, as it's super pricey and there are other steps that you can take to help conserve your natural collagen and conserve your bank account too ha - See here. I also feel like this would suit and benefit more mature skin, as your collagen levels start to decrease slightly after 30. I've really enjoyed using this product though and it's genuinely staying put in my skincare routine!

I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below - Each and every comment means so much to me and they never cease to make me smile!

#NeomHappy100 | Mindfulness | Week 2 ❤

Hello My Lovelies!
I'm a little late with my #NeomHappy100 update (See week 1) so I thought I would write a short roundup and also discuss a topic that I'm really into. The past week was honestly one of the worse I've had in a long time - A mixture of unpleasent visits to the doctor, combined with a demanding work week and everything else in-between left me feeling pretty defeated. I've been relying on the Neom Happiness Programme to pick me up and I've been enjoying the comforting and uplifting scent of the Happiness Candle. I've also become pretty infatuated with the "Great Day" Mandarin & Mint Scrub... which has lifted my mood each and every time I've used it.

So, onto Mindfulness - A few years back my anxiety had got to a point where I had to make a decision. To get better or to spiral downwards. Not many people actually knew how bad my anxiety was, as I would hold it in and wait until bed to cry (what seemed like a river) I decided to seek help and went to a brilliant therapist who gave me my master tool, mindfulness. So what is it? Mindfulness is a mental state that can be achieved by focusing your awarenss on the present moment combined with the acknowledgment and acceptance of feelings, thoughts and sensations. An example for me is the feeling of rain, I will often go outside for a few moments if I'm feeling a little anxious and I will focus soley on the feeling of the rain hitting my skin, how fast it's hitting my skin and the sound of it hitting the garden shed.

Mindfulness practices have Buddhist origins and have been around for thousands of years, but it has become more of a modern treatment for people suffering with stress, anxiety and depression. For me it has been my saving grace and has allowed me to accept my anxiety and deal with it in a much better way. So my minfulness practice for this evening is going to be using my Great Day Body Scrub in the bath - I plan to focus on exactly how the scrubbing feels, as well as breathing in the beautiful scent along with noticing the feeling of washing it off. It might sound random, but resting your mind for a few moments with minfulness techniques can feel like a holiday! I'm excited for week 3 of the programme and I will be sure to update you at the end of the week.

I would love to hear from you in the comments section below, each and every comment really does put the biggest smile on my face!

6 Lipstick Lovin' Bloggers #BloggersRecommend ❤

Hello my lovelies
Happy Valentine's Day! Today's post is something that has been in the works for a little while now and came as a result of me wanting to diversify my blog in 2016. I'm such a huge fan of the blogger community and regardless of any ups and downs, I still love to empower other bloggers and to show off their amazing work. I love writing on my blog, but sometimes I just want to share the love a bit more and what better way to do that than talk about some gorgeous lipsticks with five phenomenal bloggers! I'm also going to be giving my two cents on one of my all time favourite lipsticks and I've been so excited to put this post together to see what we have all chosen. It would mean the world if you stopped by and checked out all of these fabulous bloggers and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below!
NARS Satin Pencil - Rikugien
I chose the Nars satin lip pencil in Rikugien because it’s one of the easiest products to throw in your purse and apply on the go. I could be on the bus, or the train, and just a quick little swipe will give life to my complexion. I like the colour because it’s not too bold but it doesn’t wash you out, which can happen often with nudes. The consistency is great as well since it doesn’t emphasise dry lips – something I suffer from especially around this time of the year. I have no idea why this little gem is not more hyped about!
Kristina - Twitter - Blog
MAC - Viva Glam II
Lipsticks are my weakness. I always remember playing with my Mum’s vast collection when I was little and how all the different packaging used to fascinate me. I didn’t often smudge them all over my face like a lot of little girls do, I just liked to pop the lids on and off and look at the pretty colours (Can you tell I was easily amused… lol). I was so excited when India asked me to write about my favourite lipstick for her #BloggersRecommend series, but I admit it was hard to narrow it down to just one. After much deliberation I went with MAC Viva Glam II. This warm nude shade has a satin to matte finish that can be worn with so many different looks. My boyfriend bought this for me this Christmas and I have worn it nearly every day. I especially like it for work because it’s neutral enough to not cause offence, but you still look like you’ve made an effort. It’s become my handbag staple.
Aislinn - Twitter - Blog

MAC Faux has grown to be one of my all time favourite lipsticks and it is definitely one I would recommend to anyone! This is a full proof shade that I absolutely adore wearing alone or paired with my beloved MAC Whirl lip liner. It offers a pinky mauvy shade to the lips and has a satin finish so it applies to your lips like a dream with a slight glossy finish.
Sophia - Twitter - Blog
Estee Lauder Pure Colour Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick - Fairest
When India asked me to take part in her #BloggersRecommend series and recommend a lipstick to you lovelies which I absolutely love, it didn’t take me long to decide which one to choose. I have a slight obsession with Estee Lauder lipsticks, and I thought I would share with you the latest addition to my lipstick collection, which is the Estee Lauder Pure Colour Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick in the shade Fairest. This is a lovely warm nude lipstick that feels comfortable and hydrating on the lips. It has a balm like texture and a high shine finish. Fairest is the kind of nude colour that doesn’t wash you out or give you the dreaded foundation lips haha! It’s long wearing, pigmented and packaged in an elegant dark navy magnetic case. India and I seem to have quite a similar taste in lipsticks, and if you haven’t tried the Estee Lauder Pure Colour range yet, do check it out, you’ll be in for a treat. After all, if Estee Lauder lipsticks are good enough for Kendall Jenner they are good enough for us haha!
Nuala - Twitter - Blog
My go to lipstick from Charlotte’s K.I.S.S.I.N.G range. This gorgeous brown rose shade is easily worn as an everyday nude but is also versatile to glam up for an edgy look due to its deep undertones. For me, Stoned Rose is a ‘your lips but better’ type of shade for those of us with naturally pigmented lips, especially as paler nude shades can often wash you out. The formula glides on easily, moisturising the lips as well as having amazing pigmentation. It’s longevity is also pretty impressive, meaning you will only need to top up a couple of times throughout the day.
Karishma - Twitter - Blog
When I think of a WOW lipstick I instantly think of Lana! There are so many lipstick brands that I love, but I feel like NARS really hit it out the park with their Audacious range. I wasn't a huge fan of their previous formula, but after trying my first Audacious lipstick during a make-over I was instantly hooked. LANA is a wearable orange toned Red that instantly brightens up your complexion and makes you feel ready to conquer the day! The formulation is long lasting and very comfortable and has left me wanting a million more shades from the line.

I just want to say a huge thank you to all these amazing bloggers that got involved in my first ever #BloggersRecommend post! I'm going to be posting one a month throughout 2016 and if you would like to get involved then please leave your blog links below :) There will be loads of different topics too and there will also be a twitter poll live today to decide on the March topic!

6 Ways To Create A Blog That Feels Good On The Inside ❤

"I remember when stat's didn't even matter...all i wanted was a blog post comment!"

Hi Lovelies!
Hope you're all doing really well? I've been wanting to write this post for a little while, but I've always worried about sounding a bit preachy! However, this year I've decided that I need to blog for myself and post content that I believe in 100% and hopefully you lovelies will too! After falling so madly in love with blogging back in 2012 I thought that I would NEVER see the day where I fell out of love with my blog and blogging in general. I think it was just over a year into my blogging journey and my blog following was picking up, but I just couldn't seem to keep up with the rate the blogosphere was growing. I had some major self doubt and I knew my imagery wasn't really cutting it anymore! I started to put myself down and I started to think about whether or not blogging was for me anymore. I know this might sound a little ott, but it was honestly one of the most gut wrenching feelings! I knew if I gave up it would be solely down to not feeling good enough and that it really had nothing to do with my passion for blogging. I ended up taking a lot of time out and I managed to gather my thoughts and pursue blogging, but this time my way. I know that I'm not alone with this and that many bloggers have experienced similar feelings, but I hope this post will inspire you to carry on doing what you love if you're in a little bit of a blogging rut! Right now I couldn't love blogging anymore, but I'm more than aware of how quickly that feeling can change. I'm always looking for new ways to keep my blogging mojo and to ensure I keep growing and pursuing my favourite hobby! I've come up with 6 tips that I still regularly use to help keep my focus when it comes to blogging. I hope you find this post useful :)

Grab yourself a cuppa and your favourite notebook and pen! It's time to remind yourself why you started your blog and how it made you feel? Your first ever blog comment or making a blogger friend for life - Write it all down and absorb the positivity.

Write down three things you love about your blog and three things you would like to improve. This is a great way to view your blog in a more rational way. It's sometimes easy to feel overwhelmed and un-balanced, but matching the good with what needs to be improved is definitely a positive start when looking to get your blogging mojo back!

Taking a break is so important for many reasons! There is only so long you can function under pressure before you start to feel overwhelmed. Taking a break in the blogosphere can sometimes be a scary thought, especially with the speed that it's growing. Thoughts may run through your head like "Will my followers stop reading my blog" Or "Will I get left behind". The best thing to do is accept any negative thoughts and then dismiss them shortly after; it’s a lot easier to move on from negativity if you can accept it. Taking a break is the very best remedy for making sure you don't completely fall out of love with your blog!

You most probably started your blog because you wanted to share a topic close to your heart. Once you start to compare yourself to other blogs your focus shifts and your mind-set becomes saturated with everything but the real reason you started your blog. Your voice is just as important as anyone else’s and your game plan is the very best one to stick too! Sometimes it's best to take time away from your computer when crafting your content, as it can help to keep your focus on what you really want to talk about!

Blogging is such a great community and one that can be really empowering! Getting re-connected with bloggers, chats and various projects can definitley help to boost your confidence. It's easy to get too involved in trying to stay on the ball when it comes to blogging and it can easily start to feel lonely! Take 10 minutes to comment on a few of your favourite blog posts, or connect with new people, Is there someone on your Twitter feed who always makes you smile? If so let them know!

If you're in a bit of a blogging rut, then why not audit your blog? Take a little look down memory lane and look for content that had a good response and what content you felt proud of and inspired by? Once you have come to a few conclusions, try creating a mood board with new Ideas that you would like to see come to life on your blog. Also, why not try learning something NEW? Experiment with a new platform to offer a different variety of content (Snapchat/Periscope) as examples. or look to create more collaborative content with other bloggers, who can bring their thoughts to your blog.

I would love to hear from you lovelies below - Do you have any tips on how to keep your blogging mojo? It honestly means the world when I hear from you and hopefully this post has been useful.

Just remember you can do it! :)

Neom Happiness Programme #NeomHappy100 - Week 1 Diary ツ

Hello my loves!
Hope you're all doing really well? I've been a little MIA this week on the blog, as there have been a few personal things going on that have taken up a lot of my energy. However, on a much brighter note I'm here today to explain a little more about an amazing project that I have been selected (along with 99 others) to take part in. I'm sure most of you will know that I'm a huge lover of Neom and everything from their beautiful products to their customer service and their brand ethics is truly inspiring. Neom have recently launched "The Happiness Programme #NeomHappy100" which was inspired by their original 7 day Happiness trial. Neom have created a fun and informative 28-day programme to help you feel better in your day-to-day life, which combines a selection of four gorgeous Neom products from the Happiness & Great Day Range and the Happiness Handbook, which contains some amazing tips and tricks as well as a schedule created by the well-being team at Neom HQ! I think that the fact Neom are working SO hard to inspire happiness in peoples life is amazing and really and demonstrates how much they genuinely care for the wellbeing of the people who support the Neom brand and purchase products from their collections.

#NeomHappy100 Week 1 Diary

Day 1 - Get Out There 20 Minute March
I 100% think that getting outside can really change your mindset and make you feel a lot more positive and capable. I managed to get out and about during my work break, which was definitely a much needed break from my hectic desk!

Day 2 - 15 Minute Breathe Easy Bath
I love a good bath, but I was even more excited to involve some of the gorgeous Neom products! The Great Day Body Wash & Scrub are actually wonder products. How have I not tried this scent already?! I also lit the larger Happiness Candle and combined my relaxing bath with some of my favourite breathing techniques. I genuinely did not want to get out!

Day 3 - Wake Up With Yoga
I didn't quite manage to wake up with Yoga, but I did go to sleep with it! I practised the "Upward Dog & Cat Pose" which definitely relaxed my mind and body - It's made me realise that Yoga would probably help me so much with my anxiety... I need to get on it!

Day 4 - Get In Touch
With such a busy lifestyle - I do sometimes find it hard to always co-ordinate meeting up with friends and family. I never seem to be in the same place long enough to actually arrange and hold down plans! This does make me feel a bit sad, so I'm going to make a conscious effort to meet up with some of my best girlies who I haven't seen in a while!

Day 5 - 10 Minute Power Playlist
Who doesn't love a good sing song?! Since creating a playlist with my favourite songs I haven't stopped singing in my car! People might think I'm crazy, but actually I forgot how good it feels to have a good old sing by yourself.

Day 6 - Brunch Plans To Kickstart Saturday
I did slightly slack on this day, as I was in the car early and ended up going without breakfast. This is something I need to change and definitely want to incorporate more Avocado, Eggs & Asparagus into my diet to help make me feel better and lift my mood. I need to seriously stop functioning on 4 Black Coffee's a day!

Day 7 - Start Your Own Feel-Good Libary Today
I don't read a huge amount, but when I do I tend to find it super relaxing! I also like to write a lot, so I'm going to make more use of my Happiness Planner. Neom have made some fantastic suggestions for books too, so I'm definitely going to check them out. I would love to be able to swap checking my social media on my phone at night for a read of an inspiring book!
Overall
Despite having a bit of an up and down week and a very busy week to come, I'm actually feeling pretty chilled out. I've been doing my best to stick to the Neom guidelines for the programme and I think I've done a pretty good job so far! I definitely let my mind race away sometimes and actually it's a lot easier to deal with obstacles with a positive mentality... sometimes you just need to be reminded how! The products within the programme itself are absolutely out of this world and I have to give a special shout out to the Great Day Scrub - WOW. The Happiness Programme is available to purchase for £133.00 - Also don't forget to keep an eye on the Neom twitter account and the #NeomHapp100 as there may be a few new exciting announcements coming soon! I'm also sharing my experience over at Jewel Beauty Blog on both Twitter & Snapchat!

I hope you've enjoyed my week 1 diary and I will be back next Sunday with a further update and some more in-depth reviews on the actual products within the programme.

Lots of Love
