Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation & Setting Powder ❤

Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation
Hello My loves!
Hope you're all keeping well? I'm so glad that the end of the week is near TGIF! This week has been a toughie and I will be glad to have some "me" time on the weekend, even though I have a busy blogging schedule planned! I wasn't actually planning to publish this post this evening, but I had a real burst of energy and decided I wanted to talk about these fantastic Vichy products instead. I always try to shoot three sets of pictures, as this means I have more flexibility with my posts and what I want to talk about. I'm currently led in bed with a cheeky glass of wine, so before I start to ramble... here are some seriously amazing base products I've been trying recently. I would love to hear from you in the comments section below! You can also use my social media icons to the right hand side if you would like to get in touch a little quicker.
Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation

I love foundation. I feel like a flawless base is so beautiful with or without the addition of extra make-up! I was SO excited to try Vichy Dermablend, as I've heard Em from EmTalks rave about it and she's one of my favourite bloggers. It's safe to say that this foundation has not disappointed and it's even kicked my NARS All Day Luminous Foundation out of it's number 1 spot for the time being. The Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation combines a high concentration of pigments (30% to be exact - Twice that of a normal foundation), which helps to give this foundation some of the most foolproof coverage I have ever come across. The texture is thick on first contact, but it blends SO beautifully and actually ends up looking a lot more natural than I expected.

The Dermablend foundation is formulated with glycerin, plant oil, Vichy Thermal Water & an impressive SPF35 to keep your skin looking flawless, comfortable and also protected from the elements. The Vichy Spa Water is renowned for it's soothing and fortifying properties, which helps to give this foundation a really hydrating feel whilst on the skin. The shades I have are 25 Nude (A fair to medium shade with beige undertones) and 35 Sand (A warm medium shade) I'm definitely more 25 at the moment, but 35 will be my go to shade when I'm more tanned. I must admit I'm actually a little obsessed by this foundation! I don't need concealer and I don't need a single touch up (not even on my nose) all throughout my working day. If you suffer with problematic skin or just want a flawless base then this is honestly one to try! It also has an impressive staying power of up to 16 hours if combined with the setting powder, but you can still easily get 10 hours from this foundation. I've worn this solidly for 9 hours and have seen no signs of it slipping away. It's like natural camouflage for the skin!

Next up we have the Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder and I must admit I'm not huge on Setting Powder's and have only ever fallen for the Chanel Les Beige's in the past. However, like the foundation this Vichy Setting Powder has not disappointed. The Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder is a translucent fragrance free and Non-comdogenic setting powder that is designed to reinforce the hold of the Vichy Dermablend Foundation to an impressive 16 hours! I've been using this daily along with the foundation and I can honestly say if you want a fool proof and reliable coverage then these two products are like a complete dream team. The powder comes with a traditional puff applicator, but I much prefer using my real techniques powder brush to dust a light covering across my face. I love how this powder has a natural finish and instantly settles into the skin, without making your face look or feel powdery.

(L-R 35, 25)

I'm honestly SO impressed by both of these Vichy products! I love a lot of make-up products, but for me you can't beat a solid base and the Vichy Dermablend Foundation (£18) and powder (£15) offer exactly that. The pigmentation and staying power is literally insane and somehow these products still manage to look pretty natural, despite having such high coverage. If you're a fan of a light foundation like the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua or the Bourjois Healthy Mix, then these products could be a little out of your comfort zone. I personally love this for work, as I work in a hectic marketing/hospitality environment where you are expected to look your best. If I had to recommend just one product it would be the foundation, but if you're looking for a duo then these two are a match made in base heaven.

I hope you've enjoyed this review lovelies and I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below.
