There Is A Shade Of Red For Every Woman - Audrey Hepburn ❤

(L-R)
Hello my lovelies!
Long time no speak. I'm not afraid to say that I've lost a bit of my blogging mojo, but I have been on such a blogging mission the past few months that I feel that I've burnt out a little. After a busy week in the marketing office, as well as lots of travel I tend to only really have Saturday or part of a Saturday to myself. My Sunday's have consisted of 8 hours of shooting blog pictures, editing, writing and promoting... it's almost like a mini job in itself! Of course I love it though, but I think I have just needed some time to myself recently. I've decided to really go easy on social media and my blog and not try to force or over commit myself. I know that I will be back to normal soon, but I'm not one to rush these kinda things! I know one thing that will cheer me up and that's talking about lipsticks. The past two years have seen me become a huge fan of a bold Red lip, instead of intimidating me (like they used too) I now feel so confident when wearing Red lipstick, so I thought I would share a few of my favourites with you today.

Aislinn from Lippy In The City very kindly treated me to this gorgeous orangey toned red lipstick from George ASDA, she had mentioned how amazingly moisturising they were as well as having fab staying power for under £5. I really like it and would say it's definitely one of the more moisturising formula's from this selection, and I just can't get over the teeny tiny price for such a great lipstick.

Another absolute bargain that has great pigment, great texture and a highly on trend matte finish. Matte Red is definitely more of a cherry toned red, which makes it great for making you're teeth whiter. I opt for this one quite a lot and love how girly and cute the packaging is with a rose gold bullet and a pretty mint polka dot lid.

Every time I write about this lipstick I actually feel a little excited inside, It's been my favourite shade and formulation since last Summer, when I first wore it to a wedding. I wasn't expecting to love it, as I had never really ventured into orangey toned reds, but oh my god it was love at first sight. It lasted from 2pm - 2am on the night of the wedding, with just one little touch up! The packaging is sleek, sharp and has a very satisfying magnetic click. I have major love for this lipstick.

Scarlet Siren is a deep cool-toned red, which has a bold payoff with a really nice formula too (I believe it contains Apricot Kernal Oil) It does have more of a gloss effect too it, but not glossy enough for it to move around a lot. I have the gift version, but the packaging for the full size is just beautiful.

Revlon are renowned for their gorgeous formulations and this lipstick is no exception! It's gel-based formulation ensure that it glides on boldy in one sweep. I would describe it as being a Cherry red and it's definitely one of my favourites out of the lipsticks I've mentioned in this post.

This was the first red lipstick I ever purchased and I've had it in my collection ever since! MAC lipsticks are so reliable and to me MAC Red is the perfect Red for anyone venturing into brighter shades. Even though it's a vivid bluish-red it can be toned down to look quite cherry like! It's not the most moisturising lipstick from my collection of red, but it's definitely one my go to's.

I love the name of this lipstick, it's pretty cheeky! I have to admit that I find this lip color the hardest to pull off as it's super pigmented and glossy. It does have really good staying power though and the the doefoot applicator makes it easy enough to get a neat finish. It's probably the most in your face red, but none the less it's still a beauty!
If I had to recommend one shade it would 100% be the NARS Audacious Lipstick in the shade "Lana" It has been such a transforming shade for me and I truly feel like it lights my face up when I'm wearing it! Everything is great from the texture to the amazing staying power and not to forget the sleek and snappy packaging too! I'm also missing my Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in "So Marilyn" which is also worth a mention! I hope you have enjoyed this post lovelies and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below! What's your favourite Red? Do you find wearing Red empowering or a little scary?

My High-End Skincare Wishlist ❤

Hello My Loves!
Hope you've all had a fantastic week so far? The past two weeks I've been going through a bit of a lull with my blog, so I'm easing myself back into it with a few different posts. When I feel like this I find that it's so important to give myself the time I need to get my motivation back, this blogging stuff ain't easy! It's quite nice to have a Sunday off without having to take up 5 hours to shoot and write! However, I will back soon with lots of new content. In the meanwhile I wanted to share some products from my current skincare wish list, as I'm sure most of you will already I'm a totak skincare Junkie! I would love to hear from you lovelies below, is there anything you've tried or would like to try? I would also love to know if you think a certain product is worth the hype or not?

After watching one of Fleur De Forces recent videos I found out about the Estee Lauder New Dimension Firm + Fill Eye System. I really like the idea of having a system with two different products and textures! Step 1 is firming gel that is designed to create a tighter and more toned look to the under eye area. Step 2 is more of a filler that features light-diffusing optics to smooth and brighten. I love Estee Lauder and I'm currently using another EL eye-cream... maybe this will be next?!

I must admit sleep is not my friend, so anything that offers a slightly more relaxing bed-time experience is instantly attractive to me. I feel like OSKIA is such a well loved brand, but I haven't ventured that far into the brand. The OSKIA Bedtime Beauty Boost is designed to hydrate, brighten and anti-age over night. I'm all about a maintaining a youthful glow!

The past month has been a pretty testing one and life has definitely thrown a few spanners in the works! My skin has taken a bit of a toll an usually I will get 1-2 spots a month. However, right this moment I have 4 all at once! I definitely think the Green Tea, Spirulina and Spinach within the mask would help to deep clean my skin and unclog any pesky pores waiting to break out.

Elemis were the second high-end skincare brand that I ever tried and I feel like they are responsible for the devotion and care I have shown my skin. I've also worked within an Elemis Spa and all the training I received was truly inspiring. I definitely think the Elemis Biotec Skin Energising Day Cream will be next on my list after I finish my current face cream. It's scientifically proven to help increase cell energy and uses a patent-pending BIO-ENERGY complex of encapsulated Zinc and Copper to energise the skin!

I was lucky to try this within a beautiful gift with purchase. However, I haven't quite been able to push myself to fork out over £130 despite falling in love with the sample. With an array of anti-ageing ingredients and plant-based active ingredients, I feel like this would possibly be suited to more mature skin. However, whilst I was using this face oil it felt like someone had turned a light on, my skin was so fresh and glowy the following morning and I'm pretty tempted to purchase this as a birthday treat next month.

I do love a good old night oil and there has been so much buzz around Sunday Riley recently! The Luna Sleeping oil sounds like a total dream and it's ingredients list of cold pressed avocado chia and Concord grape seed oils sound good enough to eat. I definitely want to try this at some point, but I'm a little unsure whether or not to stick with my Estee Lauder ANR for evening use!

Can you tell I'm lusting after Sunday Riley right now? After falling in love with their Blue Moon Cleansing Balm, I'm really eager to try a few more products. The Tidal Brightening Enzyme Cream is currently on order, as it sold out instantly. It is designed to deliver a big injection of hydration via two forms of hyaluronic acid, which increases hydration by 68% in 15 minutes.

The Biotec Skin Energising Cleanser not only looks beautiful, but promises beautiful results too. I actually had the chance to purchase this recently, but after a facial I was recommend different products and decided to go with what my skin needed instead. I still want this though and I'm eager to try it in the near future as it sounds fantastic.

This is definitley a luxe-list and I would love to hear if you know of any dupes for the products above?

Lots of Love

The New "Juicy Tubes" | Lancôme Juicy Shakers ❤

Hello My Loves!
Hope you're all keeping well? I must admit I've been struggling with a little bit of bloggers block the past week, so I'm hoping I can get back into the swing of things again soon! I've only had one day off this weekend and I have a super busy week ahead, so I'm just chilling out with some Herbal Tea at the moment! Now, I know you’ve probably seen these little beauties around the blogosphere already, but I just had to share my two cents. In short, they’re blooming marvellous and have me in quite a nostalgic state! I used to love a good old Juicy Tube and with Lisa Eldridge as new creative director for Lancôme; I’m really excited to see what other releases are in the pipeline. I must admit I’m a little behind on the whole lip oil thing, as I’ve been religiously wearing lipstick over the past few months and not really opting for any other conditioning product apart from my NUXE reve de miel balm. I was lucky enough to be sent two of the new Juicy Shakers to try and I honestly haven’t been able to put them down, especially “Freedom of Peach” which in the tube looks like a super fun neon shade. They’re just so much fun and they look like a cocktail shaker, what more could a beauty lover ask for?
Firstly, I have to mention the applicator which is a tapered sponge and after giving it a bit of a funny first look; it’s safe to say I’m in love with the applicator. It allows you to get the perfect amount of product, but the tipped end gives you option for some precision too. I can apply both of these shades without a mirror, which makes these great for work or quick outings! Moving onto the formula… The bottom half of the shaker contains a bi-phase oil which contains cranberry oil, omega 3 and sweet almond oil too. The pigmentation is sheer, but enough to add a tint to your lips, which I actually really like. They aren’t the most long lasting to be honest, but I quite like to re-apply throughout the day, so for me personally it’s not a huge issue. My favourite shade is definitely “Freedom of Peach” (R)which gives a gorgeous light coral stain to the lips that is noticeable after two swipes. I also really like "Apricute" (L)which is a darker orange shade that I’m going to try out when I’m a little more tan. The texture is smooth and non-sticky and you’re greeted by a fruity cocktail-esq fragrance on application, which does transport me back to the days where Juicy Tubes ruled the world.Overall
These are so fun! At £18 they are probably not a must have, but they’re the kinda product that would cheer you if you had one in your make-up bag. I can definitely understand the hype around them and I love nothing more than giving mine a little shake and applying throughout the day. The colour pay off isn’t amazing, but I can see these being suited to more of a casual outing or work! I personally find these more comfortable to wear than Juicy Tubes, which can be quite gloopy if you over apply. However, I think both are fantastic and the Juicy Shakers are a fun new addition to the Lancome line up!
I hope you've enjoyed this post my loves and I would love to hear your thoughts below! Have you tried these, or will you be giving into the hype soon?
