My #Euro2016 Experience | Wales Vs Slovakia | Bordeaux

Hello My Lovelies!
Hope you're all good? I was hoping to post this a little sooner to be honest, but between one thing and another I haven't been able to get around to it. I was actually shocked that so many people wanted to see this post, so I decided to get my butt into gear and get this post ready. I honestly had the most fun/mental weekend ever at the Euro's (start of June) and after growing up in a football fanatic family and being engaged to an avid Liverpool, Barcelona and Wales fan it's safe to say I'm kinda a footie fanatic too. I've recently come back from Bordeaux, which is honestly such a beautiful City! However, It did feel slightly like a stag weekend ha ha! Even though the majority of people out there were men, everyone was so kind, fun and of course pretty drunk! It was all in good spirit where we were though. We met up with loads of Daniel's friend and stayed out late in the #Fanzone and the actual Wales game was something else. It's such a historic event for Wales and even though I didn't get to do my usual vacay things like (shopping, sunbathing you know that kinda stuff) I had four of the best days of my life, and I know it will be something I tell my children in the future too. We even ended up on a night out, walking one of our friends back in a City that was completely new to us, it was bloody fantastic though. However, I will be pestering Daniel for a beachy holiday soon though. Here are a few pictures from my Holiday and I'm thinking of doing a writing up a few more travel posts soon, as I've had quite a few questions about my trip to Dubai, as well as a few other places I have been very lucky to visit.

Overall, my #Euro2016 was far more than I expected and quite frankly I loved every second of it. Soaking up the atmosphere, pathetically trying to drink a pint and enjoying junk food day after day! It was just amazing. One night I even ended up with my wine in a pint glass, now that's classy.

I hope you enjoyed this post lovelies! It's pretty different to my usual beauty posts, but hopefully it will give you a chance to see a different side of me and the other things I enjoy apart from purchasing copious amounts of lipstick & skincare! I'm hoping to add more to my #JewelJetSet series, as I've got loads to share and a few holiday plans in the making!

And to finish off C'mon Wales!

Updated Review | Sunday Riley Blue Moon Cleanser

Hello lovelies!
Hope you're all well? I've been considering writing an updated review on the Sunday Riley Blue Moon Cleanser for a while and to be honest I haven't done many of these. However, I have recently finished this cleanser and wanted to write about why I won't be re-purchasing this product, despite really liking the results. I definitely don't want to come across like I'm bashing this cleanser, as it's beautiful in many ways and I think Sunday Riley is a fantastic skincare brand, but at the same time I want to be honest about my experience with this particular cleansing balm, seeing as I'm a self confessed skincare Junkie. I hope this post is informative and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below.
The dark blue packaging and gold writing make this product look and feel extremely majestic before you even open the lid. You're greeted with a beautiful light blue product that has a faint Chocolate Orange type scent. It's definitely an exciting experience for anyone interested in skincare. The Cleansing Balm itself uses Sunday Riley's patented NV-5 Ageless Complex, which marries five traditional skincare ingredients (Including Moringa) with hi-tech processes, to maximise reparative and skin brightening properties.

Despite enjoying the product, I just can't push myself to repurchase it due to it's peculiar texture. I must admit I was expecting something similar to either the Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm, or maybe the Clinique Cleansing Balm. It's almost £50, so for that price I think the product needs to be pretty much on point to justify the price tag. However, I found the texture to be firm and grainy and not in a nice way. It does begin loosen up after 30-40 seconds(ish) but to be honest, I just feel like the texture really let this product down. I actually lost a lot of product by dropping it in the bath or down the sink, as it was to uneven to control. The texture is pretty much the only reason I won't be repurchasing, as apart from being a bit of a nightmare to handle, the results were lovely. Skin appears brighter, smoother and generally more healthy looking!

Have you tried this product? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below. I was a little worried about posting this, as I do like this product, but I would struggle to recommend this at almost £50! It's a lot of money to spend on a skincare product that doesn't 100% deliver.

The White Company | Seychelles Signature Candle Review ❤

Hello my loves!
Hope you're all well? It's a drizzly Sunday, but they're perfect for blogging as I don't feel as guilty for not being outside and enjoying the sunshine. I definitely feel like I'm on a bit of a blogging roll at the moment and taking some time away has once again done me the world of good! I've also got tomorrow off, which is amazing as I really need a day to myself to sort a few plans out and catch up on e-mails. I've been meaning to write up a few candle reviews, so I thought I would start off with a candle, which is basically pure paradise! I hope you enjoy this review and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below.

From the moment I first smelt this candle It was love. I was instantly transported from a shop floor to a tropical paradise (at least in my head) and it certainly didn't disappoint once lit either. I've been lucky to visit the Seychelles, and The White Company have perfectly captured the essence of an Indian Ocean island with this candle. The main notes of this candle are Bergamot, bright orange and amber, followed by warming notes of coconut, vanilla and almond. Seychelles has definitely become one of my favourite candle scents and it's a combination of a feel goods scent, mixed with relaxing notes of amber. It really does create that perfect sense of serenity and beauty, you can almost hear the waves gently rolling in... Each candle is filled in the UK using high quality mineral wax, which enables the candle to burn clean and evenly. With a burn time of just under 30 hours, this candle is the perfect treat or gift for a special friend or loved one.

Overall, Seychelles is a beautiful candle that will give anyone the ultimate feel good factor! I'm due to re-order and I might even treat myself to the large version. I would love to know what candles you're loving right now lovelies?

Monster Skincare & Beauty Haul | Cult Beauty, Clinique & Escentual ❤

Hello Beauties!
Hope you're all keeping well? I've been a busy bee and went on a rather indulgent shopping trip today to celebrate Daniel's first class hons in Mechanical Engineering, but now I'm happy to be sat down enjoying a glass of champagne with Daniel and my family whilst enjoying another great win for Wales in the Euros! I'm here with a sneak peek of my recent monster skincare & beauty haul, which was a total moment of indulgence. I'm hugely into my skincare and of course beauty, and I couldn't wait any longer to share my purchases with you lovelies. However, I will be doing more in-depth reviews on a lot of the products in this post, so keep checking back if you're interested to see how I get along. I hope you enjoy this Post lovelies and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below!

So what exactly Did I purchase?
Cult Beauty are quite possibly the biggest enablers ever!! Their campaigns are always on point, super informative and more importantly their product selection is just out of this world. I did consider un-subscribing from their e-mails for a while just to stop the temptation, but they are just too good to resist #GuiltyPleasure. As most of you know I'm a complete skincare Junkie and after speaking with a Cult Beauty specialist, along with reading an amazing post from Caroline Hirons I decided that I needed some Kyrpis in my life! Now I'm not going to go all out in this post, as it totally needs one of it's own, but the two products I purchased were Moonlight Catalyst & Beauty Elixir 1000 Roses. I'm already blown away. I also purchased the Anastasia Beverly Hills Concealer which I've wanted for the longest time! The next day after making my order ABH released their new palettes on CB, so I will be checking them out soon! I don't think the eye palette for me, but the glow kit is 100% up my street. Not only did I get three amazing products, but I also qualified for the super amazing Summer Cult Beauty Goody Bag worth over £170!! Let me know if you would like to see a separate review on the Goody Bag?
I've been meaning to re-purchase the Clarins Water Comfort One Step Peach Cleanser for ages, as I've already got through two bottles of it. However, at £23 (Currently £18.45) it's pretty expensive for a cleansing water, so sometimes I just make do with other products I have waiting around to be used up. However, seeing as I was #FeelingSpendy I decided to treat myself to this fantastic product, which I either use alone in the morning, or follow it up with my Oskia Renaissance Gel for a more thorough morning cleanse. I obviously couldn't leave Essential without having a little browse around! I came across Vichy and their new masks, which all looked amazing (I have a thing for face masks) However, I went with the Quenching Mineral Mask, which only needs to be left on for 5 minutes to inject serious hydration to the skin. I haven't actually got anything that similar in my collection, so I'm excited to use this.
Anyone who knows me well, or reads my blog will know skincare is a big deal for me for many reasons. I've always been lucky to have good skin, but more than anything I love having an in depth routine, as it really helps to relax and ease my anxiety. I also love trying new products and of course keeping my skin in tip top condition, which gives me so much more confidence than make-up these days. Anyhoo, I'm quite into Clinique at the moment, so I decided to purchase their Moisture Surge Gift set, as I already use the Moisture Surge Thirst Relief Treatment and love it! I also purchased their NEW online exclusive Sun-kissed Face Jelee Complexion Multitasker, which I'm hoping will be fab to mix in with moisturisers, foundations and anything else I can use it for! I also got a free men's skincare set, which I have given to Daniel. I'm desperately trying to get him into skincare, as I can't bare to see him wash his face with soap anymore!

I hope you've enjoyed this post my lovelies and I will be back soon with more in-depth reviews! Please let me know if there are any specific products you would like to know about?

The Skincare Secrets TAG 2016 ❤

Hello Beauties!
Hope you're all keeping well? I'm going to keep this intro short and sweet, as I've created a new skincare TAG for all you skincare junkies, or anyone with an interest in skincare. I'm really excited to share this with you all, but feel free to take out any questions you feel aren't relevant to you! I would love as many people as possible to do this TAG and I would love you to share your answers with me if you do this TAG! So lets get to it..

My skin is definitely normal/combination. I'm lucky not to get too many blemishes, but I do suffer with a slightly oily t-zone and some dry patches. Sometimes, I suffer with dull/dehydrated skin too due to being a pretty bad sleeper, as well as being in an air conditioned environment for work. I probably don't drink as much water as I should either, why does 2l a day seem so hard!

I would say complex, maybe a little too complex at times! I've had to simplify my routine, as I was staring to aggravate my skin with so many different products #SkincareJunkie.

AM: Clarins one step Peach Cleanser or Oskia Cleansing Gel if I have enough time
PM: Emma Hardie Amazing Face Cleansing Balm & Oskia Cleansing Gel

AM & PM: Elemis Apricot Toner (HG)

AM: Super Drug Simply Pure Hydrating Serum ( Under £3 you need to check this out )
PM: Estee Lauder ANRII

AM: Clinique Moisture Surge
PM: Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream

Favourite Treatment Products?
PM: Oskia Renaissance Mask/ Origins Drink up Intensive Mask. I also love Clarins for facial oils!

Eye Cream
AM & PM: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye cream

Jack Wills Lip Balm (FYI this stuff is amazing and super affordable)

Oops (YES) Keep checking back to see my upcoming monster skincare haul!

I would definitely take a Hawaiian Tropic SPF, along with my Estee Lauder Tinted Moisturiser and finally my Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Balm.

I feel like 99% of people will disagree with me, but the Liz Earl Cleanse & Polish sadly did nothing for me! It wasn't bad and didn't break me out, but it definitely didn't improve my skin situation at the time. I've also reviewed the Sunday Riley Blue Moon Cleansing Balm, which gives great results, but the grainy and non-luxurious texture lets it down at a whopping £50!

Either the Origins Super Spot Remover or the Elemis Herbal Lavender Mask, which can also be used as a spot treatment. Both are great, but Elemis edges it as it calms down my whole complexion like no other!

100% the Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Clay Mask - In under 10 minutes your skin is transformed from dull to glowing, plump and totally fabulous. I first had this applied to my skin prior to a make-over at Charlotte Tilbury for the 2015 Cosmo Blog Awards and my skin looked so juicy after it!

I'm a huge fan of my Jade Roller, which is really relaxing and a great way to even out your skins texture from the comfort of your own home. I also love the Foreo Luna Play, which I have reviewed here.

My wish list is endless (Cult Beauty's fault), but I've just purchased a few new goodies, which will be featuring on the blog very soon!

If you're eye cream isn't de-puffing or reducing darkness quite as much as you would like, then try investing in a facial/eye roller, as these can help massively with de-puffing and improving the circulation and breaking up any blood cell build up under your eyes.

I would probably say if you're looking to get into face oils then start off with Clarins! They aren't super cheap, but definitely not in the £50+ price range, which a lot of oils seem to be creeping towards at the moment. I've tried two from Clarins and both have been fantastic and have worked wonders to balance my skin, when it has been a little troublesome. Oil is also the best way to balance your skin, so if you're having a bit of trouble strip down your routine to cleansing and applying an oil.

I hope you have enjoyed this TAG lovelies - I TAG you all!

Don't forget to share your answers with me using #SkincareSecretsTAG on Twitter!

Lots of Love

Hello beauties!
Long time no speak! I hope you're all keeping well? I've recently come back from an amazing trip to Bordeaux, which I will be writing up shortly. However, today I'm feeling pretty unwell and thinking perhaps I caught some kind of bug on the plane or in the airport. I wanted to write up this post for you lovelies before I left, but between one thing and another I didn't get around to it. I'm really excited to talk about one of my recent beauty purchases and I have already been a busy bee posting gorgeous pictures of these brushes. I've just checked the Spectrum website and sadly these brushes have sold out whilst I have been away, but I'm sure they will be back soon by popular demand! I hope you enjoy this post my loves and would love to hear from you in the comments section below.

Spectrum have become well known for creating super sassy make-up brushes/tools that aren’t just a pretty face. The quality of these handcrafted brushes is exceptional, as well as being PETA registered and Vegan trademarked cruelty free brand. I have been eyeing up their "Glam Clam" which is now back in stock (seriously, you need to check them out) and after deciding that I needed some new face brushes, I headed to the Spectrum website, where I came across possibly the most insta-gorgeous brushes ever! I opted for the face brush collection, which includes four of their best selling brushes over the full collection, as I don't really do that much eye make-up. I've been using them for around three weeks now and I'm in love.
B01 Flat Top Buffer
B02 Domed Buffer

The 4 Piece Marbleous Contour Set have a stunning colour scheme of rose gold, grey and white. The collection consists of their B01 Flat Top Buffer, B02 Domed Buffer, C03 Tulip Powder and finally their C04 Angled Powder brush. The buffing brushes are best use with cream, liquid or powder foundations and the super soft bristles ensure that you can achieve a gorgeous even finish that can be built up to suit your look. I've been using both brushes every day and I honestly can't pick a favourite, but one thing that's for sure is that you wont experience that nasty streaky effect that some brushes give. The Tulip Powder brush is great for highlighting and more precision contouring with it's tapered shape, but the Angled Powder brush is equally great at creating a natural contour and both can be used to dust powder or to add a pop of colour to your complexion.
CO3 Tulip Powder
C04 Angled Powder

Overall, I'm SO impressed with these brushes and they really aren't just a pretty face! The quality of these brushes is incredible and it's also great that they are a cruelty free brand. One thing I would like to see in the future is the name of the brush (B02) actually on the brush, which I think just makes it a little easier to identify, but no biggie! These brushes are super beautiful, but not the most dense that I have used, but I guess that is more personal preference. I would recommend Spectrum in a heartbeat though, and would love to know if you've tried any brushes from their super sassy collection?
