Elemis Quiet Mind Temple Balm Review

All hail Elemis! Seriously, what a brand. If you've read my blog for a little while you will know that I was lucky to work for an Elemis Spa for just under two years and really got to know the products, as well as having many training sessions on their powerful brand ethics and results driven ingredients. As a sufferer of mainly night-time based anxiety, I'm always on the lookout for something to ease away any nervous tension before bed. I'm way too busy at work to let my anxiety get to me in the daytime, but sometimes the nights can be very long and scary for me, especially when I have a bad bout of anxiety brewing! I get my army of self-help techniques and products to the ready and without a doubt they all do their bit to help, but I had to make an exception and dedicate a post to the Elemis Quite Mind Temple Balm.

A powerful blend of Menthol, Centella Asiatica, Patchouli, Eucalyptus, Lemon and Ho Wood knocks the wind out of my night-time anxiety and leaves my mind perfectly quiet. Rubbing this on my pulse points and the back of neck almost instantly helps to promote harmony and relaxation, which is the perfect way to escape a sleepless night. The scent is initially strong, but the cooling and soothing sensation of the menthol soon calms down and leaves you with a relaxing scent, which has not yet failed to help me drift off to sleep. I tend to use this only when I need it, as it's a pretty dinky 15ml tube. However, a few dabs of this along with my eye-mask really do work wonders!

I would love to know if you have any miracle workers that help you to get a little extra Zzz each night?

Lots of Love

  2. I swear by this stuff; absolute dream (literally lol).

A few months ago, I was struggling to sleep, reluctant to take anything medicated, I turned to trying this . . boy am I glad I did. A pea sized amount massaged into the temples of my head, and wrists, and a deep sniff . .within 30 minutes, I was out like a light! Best sleep ever. A tad pricey, but with things that actually work, I don't mind paying a bit extra for it.
